I love the crystal clear warm ocean waters, and all that the tropics offer in South Florida. I live in the up and coming city of West Palm Beach whose new nickname is "Wall Street South". Class A office towers, urban themed hotels, luxury apartment buildings are rising throughout the city and older industrial parks are being converted into hip new neighborhoods. As a sign of the city's emergence The University of Florida has announced a partnership with IBM to build a new graduate school and campus in our downtown. Our midsize city is also now connected to the larger cities of Ft. Lauderdale and Miami by hi-speed rail, and Orlando will open up next year. The city is on the move and we are seeing dozens of financial firms like Goldman Sachs and tech firms relocate to our waterfront paradise across from the affluent township of Palm Beach. It's an exciting time to live in southeast Florida.
I enjoy riding my bike around Palm Beach's beautiful bike path and jumping in the Palm Beach Inlet any day of the week. Whenever I can we take advantage of our local boat club down at the West Palm Beach docks to enjoy a day of picnicking, snorkeling and playing at Peanut Island, one of my favorite places to people watch and enjoy the outdoors at a beautiful little recreational island at the Palm Beach Inlet. I also like to go see sporting events down in Miami, whether it be a Dolphins, Marlins, Heat or Panthers game or a tennis match. We also take advantage of the art shows in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, and of course live music or comedy at any of our local theaters.
I have invested in three buildings and have 11 apartments in Lake Worth Beach that we enjoy hosting guests from all over the world. I enjoy making sure the places look great and my guests have wonderful experiences during their stays. I expect the same when I travel. I have been a full time licensed real estate agent for the last 16 years and my fiancé and I own our own brokerage.
