Disappointing
We had high expectations for this property based on the listing and rate, but unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by the following:The mini split A/C units were not functioning properly, and even with all doors and windows closed, the home remained at 84 degrees throughout our stay.On the day we arrived, we were unpacking groceries and dripping in sweat—it was extremely uncomfortable and a stressful way to begin the trip.A strong gas smell from the commercial stove’s pilot lights forced us to keep doors open for ventilation, which worsened the heat and raised safety concerns.This also led to pollen and outdoor debris collecting throughout the home, contributing to a general sense of uncleanliness.The pool was not clean upon arrival, and maintenance continued until nearly 7 PM on our check-in day.The master shower had no hot water.The bedding in the master consisted of a ripped duvet insert with no cover and only a quilt on top—not appropriate for a high-end rental and not sanitary.There was a large red pot in the refrigerator catching a drip, and we had to dump it repeatedly to keep other food from getting wet. Our food did get soaked multiple timesFurniture and linens throughout the house were worn or damaged, including torn upholstery, stained carpets, and shredded.
