It’s wonderful to hear you had a relaxing getaway. We’d love to host you again!

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback and we are happy to hear you enjoyed the property! The reason for the strict check in/check out times is because this is a very large property and takes our cleaning and maintenance staff a lot of time to get it cleaned and prepared for the next renters. Your reservation took place during Spring Break which is one of the business weeks of the year. On occasions where there is a tight turnaround time between two reservations, we may have to bring in an additional cleaning person in order to be able to allow an early check in or late checkout, so that is the reason why there may be a fee applied to accommodate that request. You did send us a text message on Sunday morning to extend your check out but unfortunately it was such short notice that our cleaning and mainteance staff were already scheduled to arrive shortly and we were not able to rearrange their schedules at that point. We are very sorry we were not able to accommodate that last minute request for you, but we hope you will stay with us again and we would love to have another opportunity to hopefully accommodate an early check-in or late check out for you!

I am so sorry for any confusion that you experienced during your arrival. The cleaning lady was leaving the property when you were arriving, and she has a different code that what guests are provided for their stay. She was trying to be helpful and show you how to unlock the door and she used her cleaning code which is what caused the confusion. However the cleaning lady did let us know that she explained this to you and told you that you would be receiving a difference code from us. She was not trying to cause you any confusion and was genuinely just trying to lend a helping hand. We did receive a message from you that you needed help with the TV, however then you called us back and said someone in the group had figured it out and you no longer needed help with it. So I apologize as it appears that we must have misunderstood that situation and you were in fact still needing assistance with the TV. We appreciate your feedback and sincerely apologize for the minor hiccups you encountered. We would love the opportunity to make your next stay even better.

I am sincerely sorry that you felt your stay was not satisfactory. We strive very hard to provide all of our guests with a 5 star service I am truly sorry we fell short of that. The access codes are generated directly from our reservation software and are sent out automatically at 3:59pm for all check-ins. You are correct that there was a crack in one of the windows. The windows are double-pane windows and it was the exterior pane that was damaged - the lawn guys accidentally flung a rock into the window with the mower while cutting the grass. We taped it up to prevent the window from shattering more. We contacted a glass company who came out and measured the glass and then ordered the replacement piece for us. Unfortunately it takes several weeks for the new glass to come in once it is ordered, so we were aware and were fixing it properly, it is just a repair that takes a little bit of time. I am genuinely sorry if that hindered your experience. I personally talked with several of the members in your reservation about the pool throughout your stay. We sent someone out to test the chemicals in the water immediately after you reported a concern. We tested the water in front of you and showed you the results - all of the chemicals were reading exactly where they should be. It should also be mentioned that you told us that all of the adults and children swam in the pool the day that you arrived and no one had any issues after being in the pool. Then the second day, you reported only the children having a skin irritation. As I thoroughly explained to you, if the chemicals were wrong/high/low, it would not have only affected the children's skin in the group. I was on the phone with one of the women in your group for over 45 minutes Saturday afternoon discussing this situation to which I agreed - the kids definitely got into something that upset their skin. You also told us the kids skin irritation was only on their "hot spots" and a chemical burn would not target specific areas of the body - it would affect the skin all over. I am absolutely confident the issue was not a chemical burn from the pool - we affirmatively ruled that out and provided you proof of that. I discussed several other things that could have potentially happened that caused this irritation with one of the women and during that conversation I expressed empathy and sincere apologies repeatedly. I am honestly taken-aback to ready that you felt there was no apology from our end because that is not even remotely truthful. I am extremely sorry that the kids developed a skin irritation during your stay, and it could have possibly been from heat rash, some kind of plant, the detergent, etc. But it was not caused by the swimming pool.
