Summer Getaway Success

Wow, what an amazing weekend we had at the Dog Haus! This lake house was everything we hoped for and more. Every amenity was exactly as pictured, and we absolutely loved how many different spaces there were—perfect for both gathering with everyone and finding a quiet spot to spread out.And let me tell you about Stephanie, our host. She's truly one of the best I've ever encountered! Her responses were super quick, and she was incredibly helpful.We're giving this a solid 5/5 and can't wait to come back!

Wonderful home!

The home and property were beautiful and very well appointed. The host thought of everything from coffee and creamer to extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in case someone forgot theirs. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return when in the area. Thank you, Stephanie, for your amazing home and hospitality!

Exactly what we needed

After a year of devastating losses, our family needed a getaway to spend quality time with each other. This home was the perfect place to make our gathering both comfortable and fun. The views are amazing, the home layout is perfect, and the massive kitchen is ideally stocked with all the tools you’ll need for a beautifully prepared meals. The Dog Haus is a fun little getaway in itself and only steps away from the main home. Do yourself a favor and book this home for your next visit to the area

Good? No.. Spectacular!

I don't normally leave reviews, but staying here was above and beyond what I expected. The Host, Stephanie is super sweet, very responsive and dedicated to making your stay the best stay there is. The property has such a majestic view and has cozy home feeling. If I were you I would book here, cause if you don't I will. I'm definitely coming back again 1000%

Great weekend in Canyon Lake! Easy check-in we had a little hiccup with the door code but they responded quickly. We had no other issues. This property fit our needs for the number of family meeting up for our summer family weekend! We had 13 and had plenty of room!! The home had so much to offer without leaving. We grilled, played, and relaxed! The views are 10 , the home is older but the amenities and view over shadowed the imperfections of an older home.

Very cool house- cleanliness was lacking

We had a great time here. The home was very nice, almost everything we needed was there. Plenty of beds for a big group. Nice quiet area but close to area attractions. Downstairs was very warm & never did cool off. Sheets and floors were all dirty so we had to clean the place a little once we got there.

70th birthday getaway

We needed a place to hold all 18 of us to celebrate my mom turning 70. This place did not disappoint at all. There was so much space to hang out and visit. The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed to make meals for all of us. The kids loved the downstairs area with the pool table and book nook. And the bus/camper is awesome! The owners were a pleasure to communicate with and made everything from check-in to check-out seamless. If you are looking for a place to relax with a large group this is it!

Wonderful Vacation Home

My family and I were so impressed with this vacation home! The bus/Dog Haus was adorable and perfect for the 20 somethings to stay in. There was plenty of room for everyone. And I’ve never stayed in a vacation home that provided for so many of our needs (toilet paper, laundry soap, coffee, creamer, tons of appliances like a air fryer and waffle maker, and the list goes on and on). And I totally understand why it was named the Deer Haus! We saw so many deer! One evening we saw about 8 deer walking through the back yard! We had an amazing vacation and will definitely consider staying here again in the future!
