Our recent stay at this property was unfortunately disappointing due to several significant issues. Upon arrival, we found trash on the floors in the bedrooms and in the trash cans, which was an immediate turn-off. The smoke detector was also beeping constantly, and despite reporting it immediately, batteries weren't brought until the next day.A major inconvenience was the lack of sheets for the pull-out beds. We made multiple requests, but it took two full days for them to be delivered, leaving some family members without proper bedding. One toilet was clogged upon our arrival and remained unfixed throughout our entire stay. Several burners on the gas stove didn’t work properly. While the issue with the gas stove was temporarily remedied with a plug-in burner, it added to the overall frustration.Despite the management office being visible from the property, their responsiveness was incredibly slow. Our calls and messages often went unanswered for extended periods, and help was delayed. Overall, these issues significantly impacted our family's comfort and enjoyment, making for a less-than-ideal vacation experience.

The property was nice, it fit our family well. A little disappointed when two of the gas burners stopped working and the grill barely worked. Maintenance came over within a few hours to diagnose the problem. Because it was a gas stove issue, he could not fix the problem. We made it work with just the few burners. A gas BBQ would have been nice.Noticed quite a a lot of ants in the bathrooms.We enjoyed the wildlife that came by to visit; chickens, deer and a very friendly cat.Had some good family time around the propane fire pit.May I suggest a bed side table downstairs for a CPAP machine.I would rent it again if the problems I listed were fixed.

Work retreat

This home was perfect for our work retreat. It allowed plenty of space for all of us to spread out while working, it is very close to some great food and drink establishments, and within easy walking distance of the beach. Highly recommend this place for large groups.

Retirement Retreat

This listing was accurate. A highlight for our group was a separate bathroom accompanying each bedroom. We also enjoyed ample time in the hot tub. Management was responsive and helped us restore power to the hot tub. Ants were minimal as long as we cleaned up well after ourselves. Great view from the upper deck at sunset!

Family Vacation

This property was an easy walk to the beach. A little farther than we normally stay but I was looking for more bedrooms and bathrooms as now everyone is older. I was willing to pay more to get this. However I also feel for a higher price I shouldn’t have to deal with leaking faucets that drip constantly, rodents and bugs and all lights should have working light bulbs, kitchen should have basic measuring utensils, etc. and the advertised streaming device (appleTV) should be working. This property needs to be carefully gone over and things need to be fixed. When host and service fees almost double the price per night, these things should be attended to regularly. Pacific City is a favorite place of ours and we have vacationed there many times over the last 20 years. We will definitely go back, just not to this property.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the house's layout - especially having a bathroom for every bedroom! It was a quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the beach.

Pacific City Stay

The house was great. It wasn't on the main drag of Pacific City but was a short walk across the bridge to the beach. Love that each room had it's own bathroom. The only issue was the hot tub was not clean and did not work. When I called about it they said they would try to get someone out to fix it. I never received a call back on this and nobody ever came out.

Family Beach Getaway

This 1921 home had plenty of room for us...two sisters of mine, 2 daughters, and 4 grandkids ages 7- 16. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware, pots and pans, skillets, etc. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. It was a decent walk to the beach. I would choose to stay again.

brought my family to this guest house and was not satisfied with its services. I want to address some issues that took place while we stayed at this lodge. When we arrived, there were trash bags that were not emptied prior to our arrival. In some bathrooms fecal matter was present in the toilet. Dog hair was present in some of the beds. The towels were still in the dryer when arriving and not in bathrooms. One of the bigger bedroom doors did not shut unless locked and made it hard to have privacy. Ants were found in our luggage, clothes, and bodies. One screen cover upstairs wasn’t placed in the window. Also one of the key features when purchasing this stay was use of the hot tub which was unavailable. We also found a vape pen near the couch. This lodge was very dirty when arriving and this shows that it was not cleaned and prepared for our arrival. The lodge condition appeared as if prior guests had just left. We were also frightened by a lady who came in the middle of the night up the stairs trying to open the front door. She claimed to be the owner of the property and was also speaking vulgar to us. We were able to call the local police to parole the area, however we did not feel safe and were very frightened. The lodge locks on every door were very unsecure. We were very worried this lady would try to get into the lodge again while we were asleep and feared for our safety and that of our families as we have small children with us. Nice house with some easily fixable issues

All-in-all: nice house that would be easy to rate well if better kept. It has easily resolvable significant negatives, specifically ants, which has been noted before. It was still a bit dirty when we arrived. House is old, so the wear and tear is forgivable. This is challenging to forgive: A bunkbed is broken. The ladder has come detached and a bed rail is loose. The whole bed wiggles. We reported it, it wasn’t fixed. Same with hot tub. An email a few days ahead of our stay stated the hot tub is broken and won’t be available. Ants in every room. There already were multiple bait traps out and we had to buy more. It wasn’t enough. The ants got into multiple groceries that had to be thrown away. Customer service said maintenance and housekeeping were dispatched to resolve the issue. My husband stayed back while the rest of us went out. After hours, no one came. He called back and asked for a supervisor. None available. Maintenance came to drop off more ant traps, garbage bags, apply some ant poison- looked at a couple of damaged things and said he wasn’t authorize to work on them. He commented hot tub has known issues but he’s not permitted to work on it. After calling for an update and seeking a supervisor, husband was promised a call at 5 with an update. They did not. A manager texted me to ask him to stop calling after he had agreed not to in exchange for the call back. Housekeeping finally came to drop off trash bags for the ants and left, that’s all she was told to do

PacCity Stay

Excellent home for large group. Everyone had a place to sleep, visit and play games. Loved the firepit and deck. Need a Outside Grill available. Tell people to bring pellets. Needed more TP and paper towels. Had twin sheets on a full mattress which was problematic but tolerable. All in all, we would stay there again.

Family beach trip

This is our second stay at this home. The set up is great. Especially with a bathroom for each room. Unfortunately this house has an ant problem that hasn't been taken care of. We informed property manager of the problem when we stay there 6 months ago and when we stay now, there are still ants in living room, dining and upstairs bathroom. The house is in need of a deep clean. I went to open a upstairs window and the screen is so thick with dust you can barely see though. Both times we stayed we had to ask for hot tub to be cleaned because it was dirty on arrival. A ring or orange scum around the top of hot tub. The property manager responded and sent someone out but the hot tub still wasn't very clean. You shouldn't have to ask for things to be cleaned up on arrival.

Excellent Choice

We brought our east coast family to the Oregon coast and stayed here. It was absolutely perfect. We each had our own bedroom with our own bathroom. So nice! Management was very easy to work with. The house was clean and the hot tub was great. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Charming House

Each room having its own bathroom was a big plus. The floor plan worked well for our group. The hot tub was a hit. We missed some of the niceties we’ve enjoyed in other rentals (laundry detergent, a welcome small basket of goodies, sand toys for the children, a few random food staples, oven mitts).

We will be back!

What an awesome house! It says sleeps 12, and they mean it-- it's not a tight fit for 12 people-- so much room! It's a beautiful house. The wood is so pretty. Big hot tub in the back. The water pressure is awesome! The kitchen is well stocked. Everything was awesome and the check-in was so easy! I could have easily stayed a few more days, so next time I hope to book for longer.

Bachelor Party Weekend

The house was super easy to find and to check into. Everything listed online for the house was 100% accurate. Plenty of beds and bathrooms so we could fit 7 people in super comfortably. The outside deck area was great, nice table with a propane fire pit in it as well as a hot tub. (which we were not expecting) There are a few little bars within a half mile or so that are easy to get to as well as gas stations and a little super market in case you needed to grab anything you may have forgot at home. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who has a larger party.

Beautiful beach home

This property exceeded our expectations. The 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms were perfect for us. The design inside is classy and cute. The outdoor patio with fire pit table was a great place to congregate and enjoy time with family. Would stay here again!
