Loved staying here (six weeks Beginning of March to mid-April 2020). Great weather. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and eclectic 1 bedroom. Great having a dishwasher and Washer and Dryer in the apartment.
Spent many hours on the deck waiting out the virus, and at the local park which was great for walking, running, and bicycling. Property Manager Andy and his wife were friendly and always accessible.
Hope to return next year.
My 1st time in Macon. Andy was very sociable when we met. He have me good tips on what to see & where to eat, etc. The rental was more than enough space, especially for one person. It is not far to downtown Macon at all, 15-20 min. Had an oil change only 2 miles from rental. Tons of tasty restaurants too!
My husband and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful place to spend a weekend. We found it in the Vera! Very comfortable, overlooking beautiful trees it was just what we needed. The Vera is tucked away from the highway and is furnished with an artist's eye for fun and interesting decor. We had a wonderful time and will return.
My husband and I stayed here while he was in area on business. We tire of the hotel stays. We found this little jewel and it was all we hoped for. Very quiet area. Privacy. We cooked each night on the grill. The home was comfortable and the plus was the bed! So comfy!!! We were met by a sweet young lady who checked us in and gave us info on area. Check in and departure was easy and communication with owner was helpful. The view from living area was peaceful. We only come to this area every few years, but would def return here. Thanks for a great stay Andy!
We loved the Vera. It was cozy and endearing with an eclectic and artsy touch. We were close to everything but once at the Vera, it was our own little sanctuary. . Great woodsy view from the windows and the deck.
We had a great time visiting my daughter at Mercer. The house is close to everything yet has a secluded comfort. My wife was artistically inspired during our stay and spent a day painting a landscape while sitting on the deck. Thank you Andy, you were a great host.

Motto: Live life live. I am a son, husband, father, brother, friend and proud to call myself an American. Have camped in 46 of the lower 48 states, parts of Canada, Mexico, much of the Caribbean and Central America, Europe several times. Upon reaching the youthful age of 40, my wife informed me we were going to be parents, a humbling wonderful experience, trying to raise 2 boys better than my wife and I were raised. Not an easy feat, the shoes to fill are immense. Fortunately, we both still have our parents, who relish seeing the frustrations we had instilled upon them, now heaped upon us. It's nice to have the luxury to apologize for being such brats and getting the knowing looks from them saying "payback."
This unique setting is why I fell in love with the property. 7 Springs Hideaway was an old farmhouse built at the turn of the century (1900) that has been remodeled and converted into several rental apartments and efficiencies. We are only renting monthly to people who are working in Macon on contract.
The Unique Setting - Private - Quiet - Wildness - Located Near Lake Tobesofkee and Bike Trails - 15 minutes from downtown. Other Things to Note: We ozone, disinfect and wash all linens between guests. We donât use bedspreads, only duvet covers with shams and they are washed between guests. I live minutes from the property and am available if you should need any assistance.
