Sunset House - Terrasse panoramique au bord de l'eau

Casa Sunset rencontre le goût typique de la côte amalfitaine, finement meublé, plein d'arches et avec des sols ornés de céramiques fines. Le style est simple et basique, mais en même temps lumineux et agréable. Casa Sunset est situé dans la partie ouest de Praiano, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et Capri et Positano. Vous profiterez des magnifiques couchers de soleil depuis les deux terrasses.

La maison est organisée sur un seul niveau, composée comme suit:

• Accès par un grand patio panoramique, équipé d'un barbecue et d'une table d'extérieur
• Terrasse panoramique, équipée de salon de jardin et douche extérieure
• Salon - Salle à manger avec canapé-lit double et table pour six personnes
• Cuisine non habitable
• 2 chambres doubles avec accès au patio et vue sur la mer
• 2 salles de bain avec douche (une dans la chambre)

Casa Sunset est situé sur le côté ouest de Praiano, dans une zone piétonne, à quelques pas des restaurants et des boutiques. Vous pouvez vous y rendre en descendant une rampe d'environ 70 marches, alternant avec un chemin confortable.

A pied, vous pouvez rejoindre:

• De nombreux restaurants / bars / pizzeria
• Arrêt de bus local et SITA pour Amalfi et Positano

Fantastic views and location

This was the most beautiful VRBO! We loved its stunning views of Positano and Capri. The inside had beautiful Amalfi decor. Every bedroom had a balcony with a view. We didn’t want to leave!

Our stay in Praiano was truly exceptional, the highlight of our trip.

The views were breathtaking, and Praiano itself is a charming, tranquil town. Its central location made it convenient to explore nearby areas, yet it remained peaceful and private. The host was incredibly communicative and responsive, arranging a car transfer for us and offering valuable local recommendations. If you're seeking a serene escape from the hustle of more tourist-heavy destinations, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!

The views from this property can’t be beat, especially at sunset. Francesco was a very attentive host who managed to arrange all of our transportation needs. We were very thankful for his help and to be able to stay at this beautiful property.

A perfect area to stay and explore all of the Amalfi Coast

Excellent hosts who gave excellent instructions and were proactive in communication. We booked last minute and they were still ready for us, which went a long way. The view in this home is incredible. We spent almost all our time on the patio! We enjoyed the neighborhood because it is quiet and lovely. Good local cafes nearby and a very convenient grocery store (lots of stairs like everything in the Amalfi, but very close to the home.) Overall it is a good space with an incredible view and the location is close enough to everything you could want.

Very nice place with fantastic views of the Amalfi Coast.

Being positioned midway between Positano and Amalfi made it convenient to visit both. Yes, there are a lot of steps - but that’s typical in Praiano. Having two furnished terraces and a washing machine was a big plus. The house could use a little sprucing up but it’s comfortable and spacious. Rosa and especially Francesco were great - both in planning things before we arrived and in keeping in touch and helping book rides etc. while we were there.

A perfect location for Sunsets!

Overall this is a wonderful home. The views are amazing. Francesco and the SMAAC team were very attentive and accommodating. Great location to base out of for day trips South to Amalfi or North to Positano. Both were a 20-30 min drive in August. WiFi in the rear of the house and outside on the terraces was spotty.

We had a magical stay. The views are incredible, and the villa had everything we needed for a spectacular vacation. The management team was extremely prompt, helpful, and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay, beautiful terraces

The manager that we dealt with, Francessco, was the best! He contacted us every day to make sure things were good! If we had a problem he responded immediately. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Town was quiet, quaint, and had everything we needed. Bus service was close by to travel to neighboring amalfi towns. We highly recommend.

A few days on the Amalfi Coast

As a last minute extension of our Italy trip we decided to go rest and enjoy the Amalfi Coast. The apartment was absolutely perfect!!! Two terraces overlooking Positano and the Mediterranean Sea. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms comfortable, clean, a pleasure to be in. The host was Magnificent!!! Helped us with reservations at a beach club - 10 min taxi drive or 25 min walk down to the water. Found the perfect 40ft boat for us to rent and enjoy lunch on Capri. Helped with parking and any questions we had within moments. Thank you so much Franchesco

Casa Sunset is Wonderful

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at Casa Sunset. The pictures don’t do the beauty of the sunsets justice. We had a great time going down the steps to the market every day and gathering fresh food and wine for a dinner and relaxing evening. The location away from busy Positano in Praiano is perfect for those wanting to enjoy the Amalfi Coast without all the other tourists.

Beautiful view

Loved the location and the view was amazing! Norman met us when we arrived and had a porter bring our bags to the villa. We did have to pay extra to have them brought down when we left, though. Be prepared for lots of steps in Praiano. We certainly had lots of exercise while we were there just wandering around. Easy to get to amalfi or Positano.

Casa Sunset Lives Up to Name

This older flat is comfortable and nicely appointed. The listing does not reveal the many steps to reach it. The property manager seemed to have more properties than he could easily handle and was thus hard to track down. Nonetheless, we would choose Casa Sunset again.

We loved our stay at Casa Sunset

Finally made the dream a reality and visited the Amalfi Coast. Casa Sunset in Praiano was the perfect location for our family. The views were spectacular and the apartment was so cute. Loved the flooring, the layout with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the two outdoor patios were great for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful sea. The location was great too. Praiano is a little quieter than some of the other towns but offers everything you could want: great restaurants, grocery, pharmacies, beaches, cafes and bars. It was 225 steps to the main street, but I viewed it as our daily workout (and who comes to Amalfi Coast not expecting stairs??). We enjoyed hiking Path of the Gods and the amazing concert organized there by the tourist office. Finally, can't say enough good things about Francesco and SMAAC. Outstanding service from the moment we booked. Their use of technology was impressive for ease and efficiency like the check-in video but their service always felt personalized which I really appreciated. We have already recommended them to friends and family. Thank you Francesco and the SMAAC team for making our dream trip such a pleasure!

Stunning Views and Picturesque

My husband and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon. The best part of this property are the views from the balconies. The views are absolutely stunning. You have a panoramic view of the water, can see Positano in the distance, and get to hear the church bells. The home has so much charm. The furniture is a little old, but since we spent most time outside, it didn’t matter. I would be sure you are fit for stairs if you are planning on staying here. It is over 200 oversized steep steps to get down to the city center to pick up groceries or catch the bus to get to Positano, Amalfi etc. overall, the Amalfi Coast is built upwards so just be prepared!! The views are your reward at the top of the staircase. The communication with the property managers was very easy and very reliable. We were met exactly as we arrived and had help with our bags upon check in. We also worked with the property managers to arrange a chef to cook at the home! I highly recommend this add-on! This was the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed a 4 course traditional southern Italian meal while sitting at the table overlooking the water. We were in heaven!

Grossest place I've stayed in...EVER

Oh, where do I start? Unfortunately this listing is an example of the pictures being way better than the real experience. All of the furniture is old and tired and in need of updating. In fact, the entire flat needs a serious overhaul. Gross bathrooms, chipped tiles everywhere, blankets covering the couches like a frat house. We didn't unpack because we didn't want our clothes touching any of the surfaces in the place. The views are lovely but the furniture is uncomfortable. Also, the terrace outside the bedrooms has great space and views, however, condensation from the air conditioner leaks on to the tiles making it slippery, muddy, and sticky. Totally disgusting. Upon check-in we walked in and all of the shades were down and the AC was off. Not quite the welcoming you'd expect on a 90 degree day. We tried to book another place but were unable to find something since it was high season. Definitely would NOT recommend staying here. One positive note is that the property manager Francesco was very helpful and kind. We took cold showers the first day since no hot water but Francesco sent someone right over to fix the issue. We are both well-traveled and have experienced many different types of places and this was by FAR the worst place we've ever stayed. Do yourself a favor and do NOT book this place!!!

Praiano Rest Week

Absolutely lovely views from this Casa, no matter the weather. We stay in Praiano to avoid tourists crowds in Amalfi & Positano. Francesco was extremely helpful and always responsive to any inquiry, which made the stay even more restful. The numerous steps to & from street level for market, restaurants and bus are not for the weary. We ate several meals at Che Bonta, a family owned restaurant, Giovanna and her husband are a delight. The Casa is a straight shot from the drop off area. SMAAC arranged our round trip driver service from Naples Praiano Naples. I highly recommend this. The recycling is serious and it took me a couple of days to get in a rhythm of what goes in to each bin, but the color coded pdf flyers Francesco provided were extremely helpful. We arrived during a rainy spring season and were grateful for the heating because it was chilly weather. Because the sun didn’t shine much and it was very humid and took about three days for our laundry to dry on the clothes rack, but we were grateful for an on site washing machine! I recommend this lodging and SMAAC. We look forward to a return visit to Praiano! Grazie mille♥️
