Amazing location just steps from Pont Nuef, Notre Dame, and the Latin Quarter. A charming old building that is beautifully renovated and very spacious and comfortable apartment. We had a great time.
Theres multiple AC units to keep the temperature comfortable, and the flat is really well designed. Check in and out was easy, thank you for a wonderful, memorable stay!
Fantastic location. You walk out and see Notre Dame to your right and the Louvre to your left. Cafes and shops are just steps away too. The apartment is modern and spacious. Great for traveling with two teens who need their space. The apartment has AC which is critical on hot days. The washer/dryer is loud so just plan to use it during the day while you are out.
Had trouble with Laundry -washer and drier were difficult to operate -- no instructions in English on how to use.Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Really enjoyed our stay. From the charm of the apartment to the perfect location, we could not have asked for a better experience. Easy walking distance to everything and just a fun place to stay. Owner was very accommodating.
We enjoyed our stay in Paris which was due largely in part to this property. We were very comfortable but were more pleased with the location. It was very convenient to many major attractions, public transportation was within easy walking distance and there were many restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. Strongly recommended!
The apartment lived up to the advertised photos and descriptions. Very well appointed with everything we needed for our 10 day stay. Communications with the manager/owner were also excellent. The apartment was exceptionally clean with good bedding and linens. It was a little quirky in sitting between floors 1 and 2! Excellent location within walking distance to most of the major attractions and sights. Highly recommend this apartment for small groups or couples.
The place was everything we wanted. Great location, comfortable beds, spacious, had clothes and washer AC. The AC was in one bedroom so that door needed to stay open to get the AC to the other rooms. We were in Paris during a heatwave so the AC was appreciated. We decided to cook one night and realized we could not figure out the stove. Texted the owners through WhatsApp and they helped us figure it out. We would definitely stay there again.
Location, location, location is everything! Great location right on the Siene a couple of blocks from train/subway station. Restaurant options were unlimited in this neighborhood between this apartment and the Odeum train station.
The apartment is compact, but offered an alcove between the bedroom (with 2 beds) and a bathroom for a crib to be placed in.
Regarding air conditioning, there are only 2 room units, one in main living area and one in the primary bedroom. Other 2 bedrooms have ceiling fans, however one of the ceiling fans didnât work! We contacted the owner early in our stay, however his response rate was not very timely and ultimately we were informed the fan couldnât be repaired until the following week after our departure. It would also have been helpful to have some type of apartment manual to guide us on how things worked in this apartment (such as lighting and the washing machine). The apartment is quiet and offered limited natural lighting. The area over the kitchen skylight appears to have had some water damage which has not been addressed by the owner, but didnât interfere with the functionality of this unit. Limited cabinet space to store your own dry food products. were i
From the onset of booking the property it was quite problematic communicating with the owner and property manager. The property manager definitely had an attitude. I had to have my French niece do all the communicating with him.
There were six of us staying at the property. Two children and four adults. There were absolutely no instructions for any of the appliances except one. Therefore we really could not make use of the washing machine or really cook. The air conditioning was in only one of the bedrooms. The apartment is very dark and faces an interior courtyard which only one of the bedrooms has an actual window that looks out into the dark courtyard. We each had one very low quality pillow which caused severe neck ache for myself and created a sleeping problem for several others. For this caliber apartment there should be better linens and pillows. There should also be more written Instructions, like how to use the television! Whenever we have rented any property there have been complete printed instructions on how to use The television as well as all of the appliances.
There Are four doors to get into the apartment. Two Of the door locks are quite problematic leaving me to stain in the last night for fear that we would be locked out of our apartment. I stayed in and miss going to the Eiffel tower with my grandchildren. So the answer is bad service but great location.
I actually think that they are not part of VRBO anymore and that they are using another I actually think that they are not part of VRBO anymore and that they are using another Rental service.
2/5 â Great Location, But Poorly Maintained and MisrepresentedThe location was incredible â just steps from Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, and several great restaurants. We also appreciated that the host allowed an early check-in, which was very helpful after a long trip.Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. Some of the photos were misleading â the TV and ceiling fans in one bedroom were decorative only, which wasnât mentioned in the listing. The check-in process was frustrating, with misconfigured access codes that left us waiting outside and scrambling to reach the host for help. Once inside, we found several maintenance and cleanliness issues: cracked and missing grout, significant water damage and stains and mold on the ceiling and floors, peeling paint, a broken garbage bin, missing locks, and a washer/dryer combo with mold inside. Additionally there was no instructions on how to use the range top or washer/dryer combo, essentially rendering both appliances essentially inoperable. Itâs a shame, because the flatâs location is truly excellent and it could be a wonderful place to stay with proper upkeep and more accurate photos. As it stands, it feels misrepresented and in serious need of some TLC.
Great location and nice accommodations. We were able to drop our bags early so we could enjoy the city on the day we arrived. Great space for a family or friend group. Would stay again
Our family of five adults were very comfortable staying here. The location is central and close to the metro. The apartment was decorated nicely and had everything we needed. (Including adapters, hair dryers, umbrellas and more.). We highly recommend!
This stay was perfect. Host was responsive and allowed us to drop our bags off ahead of checkin time. The location was great and we had an amazing time here. Highly recommend this VRBO.
Apartment worked out great. Clean, comfortable and a great location for tourist visiting Paris. Easy walk to Notre Dame, Louvre and Metro / RER. As others have said, the washer/dryer is a bit confusing, but we were able to figure it out.
Highly recommend this property for your stay in Paris. Located in Latin Section so restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, cafes, bars, and many attractions were walkable. The open layout was perfect for our family of 5. Enough space for us all to relax during our down time.
Dual citizen American/French. I lived in both countries, I now live in the French Alps., I love Paris and my dream has always been to own a property in the absolute best location: Along the River Seine, in St Germain neighborhood. But they are worth several million $! So I found the perfect solution: rent them to fellow american travellers, and enjoy them when they are not rented. A perfect win-win!
