Situé sur un étage avec des plafonds avec poutres apparentes et des sols en terre cuite, l'hébergement est frais et aéré mais conserve une atmosphère traditionnelle. Au rez-de-chaussée, l'entrée s'ouvre directement sur la cuisine. sur la gauche salle à manger avec canapé-lit double. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout ce que vous voulez. En face de l'entrée, un escalier vous emmène dans le bel espace extérieur, équipé de chaises et d'une table en bois. La face de la chambre Alpi Apuane et Castelvecchio Pascoli, terre de Giovanni Pascoli.

Perfect

This property was everything we wanted and needed it to be for our stay in Barga. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and beautiful. A real home from home feel about it and the perfect location for us to be in old town Barga. Yes it is hilly, yes the church bells ring but we knew that and embraced every single magical moment of it. Fabio was the perfect host, collecting us, helping us to the property and all communication was easy and helpful

A little gem!

We had a fabulous time in this charming little apartment. It was perfect for 2 people and great value. We have stayed in Barga many times before but this has so far been the best accommodation we have stayed in and it was nice to stay in the centre storico for a change. The owners were absolutely lovely and gave us helpful recommendations for our stay. My only point would be that anyone who had any walking difficulties it probably wouldn't be for you as it is perhaps a 10 minute uphill walk from any car parking and if you travel as I do with everything but the kitchen sink it's quite a way to drag a case but with it :-). Thank you Fabio we will most definitely be back!!!

Excellent

The apartment was exactly what we wanted - great location (as long as you’re happy with a few hills). Luckily we had a family member with a small car who drove us into Barga Vecchia with our bags after we had parked nearby. Fabio was very helpful and accommodating, he made it really easy for us to check in as we arrived later than expected. Definitely recommended!

excellent, right in the middle of the old town.

We come to Barga every year and use the family home but due to circumstances we had to rent an apartment this year. It was spotless, great balcony, beds all comfy, lovely white fluffy towels and bbq.

The great escape

This is a lovely property, situated right in the middle of old Barga. The apartment is tastefully decorated and provided us with all that we needed for the 10 days we stayed there. I was especially thankful for the washing machine but although there was an iron, I couldn't find an ironing board. We seldom ate there, choosing to patronise the many restaurants in the area, but had we chosen to 'self cater' cooking utensils were available to use. We stayed there in the hight of summer and the apartment, with its marble floors stayed cool throughout and the patio at the rear of the property provided good shade. Overall, we were very happy staying at Fabio's pleasant place and booking the property couldn't have been easier. I would certainly reccomend this property for anyone who wants to explore this beautiful part of Tuscany.

Gorgeous apartment

Everything about the apartment was outstanding .Very comfortable with all mod cons.Ideal location for both the old and new town of Barga.Our hosts could not have been more helpfull and generous.Will certainly be returning next year.Grazie tanto Fabio.

Great apartment

We stayed for 2weeks in this apartment. Very clean on arrival and comfortable. In a good position for both old Barga and the new part. We would certainly use Fabios apartment again.

Perfect apartment in Barga old town.

Quaint apartment in the old town. The apartment had everything needed for our stay with two children. The rooms were large and airy, prefect to keep cool in August. We loved the location, which suited us perfectly as we were attending a family wedding. The views from the apartment were fabulous and the area around quiet. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be back. Fabio was on hand if we needed him and communicated quickly and efficiently when booking the apartment. This apartment is perfect for couples or a family, with the added bonus of a terrace to enjoy the views whilst having breakfast.

Wonderful Apartment

We stayed at this apartment for a week whilst attending a family wedding. I absolutely loved the apartment it was exactly as decribed on the Internet and the pictures were perfect so there was no disappointment on arrival. The apartment is ideally situated in such a beautiful part of the old town. Even though the seating area was mostly shaded this was quite a relief at the end of the day during such hot weather. The apartment has a home from home feel with all the pictures, ornaments etc. It was spotless with a modern bathroom and a well equiped kitchen which didn't get much use from us as we took advantage of all the lovely restaurants in the area. Brilliant view from the bedroom lounge and patio area, I would not hesitate to return to this apartment on my next visit back to Barga. Thank you Fabio for your very efficient manner in dealing with our enquiry and queries.

Perfect flat in peaceful Barga

This peaceful flat for a couple (plus a large fold out bed for 2 further family members) is spacious, well equipped and with a private mostly shaded terrace looking out to the wooded mountains. Excellent bathroom and shower (and towels) -- and good kitchen with good gas hob and utensils, etc. All very clean. The second bed is in the living room, between the bedroom and the bathroom so its users would have only limited privacy -- but family members such as children may not mind. If only two are present, no problem arises. Payment and general contact with Fabio was very efficient with his kind help on bus and train access from Pisa. We don't know about taking a car there -- Old Barga is car free so some plan must exist for visitors to apartments. VERY STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

BARGA - BEST KEPT SECRETS

Barga provides a unique opportunity to walk in the steps of ancestors without the added glitz and commercialism that often creeps into places of immense interest and beauty. For a moment you are able to 'live' within the local culture and community. Good food, wine and hospitality and not marred by artifical price hikes for tourists, and it is a pleasure to wander through winding streets that have remained the same for generations. Like a jewel encased in the walls of the medieval city, Barga is surrounded by breath taking scenery of the tree lined mountains, offering a diversity of crops. This, plus excellent accommodation, with a modern bathroom, laundry, lounge, kitchen and bedroom facilities, means it is a destination to be repeated. A 'best kept secret' is just out! I am reluctantly writing this as I don't want Barga to change - it's just fantastic and not to be missed - but be prepared to walk, leaving the car at the walls of the city and taking a walk to the accommodation, unless you have the small car and 'Italian Job' driving skills to take on the medieval streets!

Lovely apartment !

We stayed in the villa in April 2014 as we were in Barga for a friends wedding. The apartment was ideal, great location and catered for our needs. Fabio was always in contact with us and met us on the day to hand over keys etc. Only a 5 min walk from all the bars and restaurants. Would definetly go back! Thanks again :)
