As much money as we paid we were greeted with worn out furniture, stains on the seats of the kitchen table, the rug was dirty in the living room that my baby couldnât crawl because he got filthy. The bed in the extra room (queen) squeaked so loud every time you turned or moved you were awake. I had to put sheets on the couch and chair to even feel half way clean to sit!!!! The pool was closed during the week, which I wasnât made aware of. It was just really sad that we paid so much money for a stay and felt so gross the entire time.
We had a great stay at the Wharf Condo. It was accessible to everything and outstanding for a concert weekend. The condo was clean and well-equipped. We would definitely stay here again.
Great spot to spend New Year's...watching the fireworks from your 9th floor balcony is pretty amazing. There are several good restaurants and lots of shopping nearby.
We had planned to stay in a different condo but due to plumbing issues, that reservation was cancelled less than a week before our stay. That company sent this condo which is under different management as a last minute option. Thankfully it was available and we booked it. Because we booked within a week, we had to drive to their office 15 minutes away in order to check in. Not a big deal but never had to before staying at The Wharf. They said they had an influx of fraud lately so better safe than sorry. Upon checking in, we were told that there was a work order already placed on a bathroom faucet. Someone would be there that day to fix it. No one came. We also learned a doorknob was completely missing from the same bathroom's door. I texted the next morning. Was reassured someone would come. No one came that day either. My MIL (also stayed with us) called and complained (it was her bathroom). Someone then came but didn't fix the problem. Had to call again and a plumber came out. Door knob had to be "special ordered" and wasn't replaced during our 4 night stay. The bathroom faucet was given a temporary fix but needs to be replaced. We were assured a manager would call and discuss some sort of discount/refund. No call ever came. Condo was nice with some wear but you shouldn't have to be in contact with the office multiple times daily during a vacation.
We are a Mardi Gras float group. Some of us are blood related family. Others are friends who have become family. Aging from
30-75. We had 2 units rented. 902 & 914. We had a great time. Condo was nice and very clean. Enjoyed the balcony. Only complaint was the bbq grill. Was not able to use 902 grill so used 914 but it was very dirty and smoked up the condo trying to clean it, even with the doors closed. But we did eventually get to use it. Definitely would stay again though. We are already planning our next trip. Hopefully we will be back April 2022. Thanks
The Wharf and the condo are both amazing. We had a great time. The kids loved the pool and the lazy river (Bring your own floats and the tram isnt running for the time being ). Its very convenient to walk down to eat, play games, snacks.. etc... I love the security measures they take with having to have a code to park and go into the condo area. My only complaint is the loud music. If it was adults only, it would be great but we had 2 littles and the music from the bars below us every night was so loud it was after 11 every night ( when the music stopped) that they could finally go to sleep. It was actually so loud, you couldnt hear the TV from inside the condo. The condo had everything we needed and is a lot larger than it looks in the pictures. I would highly recommend it.
