Bienvenue au Sea Ranch 2 avec LJ Hooker Evans Head. Cette unité familiale bien présentée de deux chambres est située dans un emplacement idéal à environ 650 m de la plage principale, à environ 850 m de la plage Airforce et à environ 1 km du centre-ville. Fraîchement mis à jour avec de nouveaux revêtements de sol et une nouvelle cuisine.

Tirez le meilleur parti de votre position, garez votre voiture dans le SLUG et exploitez la piste cyclable / sentier partagée qui s'étend de Airforce Beach à Main Beach, autour de la rivière et dans le centre-ville. Profitez de la promenade pittoresque sur la route des restaurants, des clubs et des magasins locaux.

Cette unité est dans un complexe calme de 4, rencontrez vos voisins dans la buanderie commune ou la cour spacieuse où vous pourrez profiter de l'air salin et du soleil. Il y a une autre unité disponible pour la location dans ce complexe, parfaite pour 2 familles pour passer des vacances ensemble.

Evans Head est bien connu pour son style de vie décontracté avec ses longues plages préservées, son abondance de lieux de pêche ainsi que la pêche en haute mer à ses portes, un estuaire de la rivière qui offre un lieu sûr pour les enfants et des plages pour tout le monde pause de surf!

Evans Head propose de fantastiques aires de barbecue publiques, des belvédères et des zones abritées dispersées dans notre belle ville. Il y a une piste cyclable qui s'étend de la plage Airforce à la baie Shark, une piste de marche jusqu'au belvédère, l'accès à la plage en 4x4 vers la plage Airforce, une piscine chauffée couverte de 25 m, une salle de sport, des restaurants, des cafés, un club de bowling, un pub, des magasins de vêtements, des magasins de surf, Chimiste, boucherie, boulangerie, supermarché et plus.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really enjoyed my stay at this unit. The staff I delt with from booking the accommodation to picking up the keys were great and made the process very easy. The unit is a good size, in a great location. The kitchen was adequately equipped for me to cook all of meals and the beds were comfortable.

The property needed a good clean and refresh. Didn’t look like bathroom had been cleaned and there was blood on the floor. One frying pan was dirty and not washed properly. Needs a good spring clean.

Reviewer Comments: Older unit, clean, comfortable, great location.Off street parking with lock up garage at rear.No air con or heating, 2 pedestal fans one very badly rusted should not be in use. Stayed during colder month with no heating. Appliances very old none were test tagged but not sure if industry requires this. Washing machine in laundry attached to next door unit, no dryer. Yes there is a BBQ but you need timber for it & is located next to 6 garbage bins. No vacuum cleaner, iron board small for bench top only with broken legs, dirty iron. Loud pipe noise when flushing toilet not good over night. You can hear others in the other units. Not sure how family would go as very small hot water system. If basics fixed a top unit. I would recommend with understanding what you in for.

Value for money

Good location. Value for money at the time we stayed. Much better than staying in a cabin at the holiday park- much more room and and two bedrooms. Property was in a clean state when we arrived. We didn't care that it's an older property. Key pick up and drop off was too easy.

Value for money

'You get what you pay for' - sums up this apartment. It was clean, great location in terms of the beach, clubs and shops, its just tired. It could really do with a make over, but that's why its cheap. But I would stay here again for the price.

Very tired and 70's feel

No heating, one small shelf for food, old crockery and non matching cutlery, no bathroom exhaust fan, small triangular shower with plastic curtain, no communication from agent, owner or cleaner in one month of letting, no WiFi, no vacuum cleaner, window cutain in kitchen incomplete (privacy), single beds uncomfortable, couch uncomfortable. Needs a good makeover before letting again.

Rental was comfortable but very tired, needs a bit of TLC For less than $100 matching crockery & cutlery could be bought & would make it much more presentable. The lounge is uncomfortable & stuffed under cushions with cardboard. Bed was very comfortable

The listing is a LIE. There is no gym or pool as advertised

The accommodation was ok but the listing was a LIE!!!!!! Beware!!!!! I have tried several times to ring Stayz & Vrbo and no one will take responsibility for the wrong listing advice. The Evans Head Elders Real Estate say the wrong listing is the Styaz responsibility and Stayz says it is theirs so I have been going around in circles for months with no success. The listing advertised a gym and a pool and neither of these were available. If you have a family and were counting on a pool then there is not one there. There is no gym either and even though I've contacted Elders and Stayz no one has changed the advertisement. I contacted both the agent and Stayz and neither of them will take responsibility for the wrong advertising nor give me a discount for wrong listing. I certainly would not recommend anyone booking through Stayz/Vrbo as there is no follow up if there is a problem WARNING!!!!! The ad for the property is a LIE

Clean abs simple stay

The 2 bedrooms were spacious enough and clean with new carpets. The main living area and kitchen has new laminate flooring. The kitchen has been updated and although we only used the Kettle it seemed to be well set up. The bathroom is old but clean. The furniture is old in the bedrooms but again clean. Only a short walk to the beach turning left or right. The surf club and bowls club are a short walk and only 15 minutes walk into the town. Great location. It is on the main road into town but not heaps of passing traffic but if a light sleeper it might bother you. No airconditioning and only 1 fan but we didn't need it in September. Something to think about if going in a warmer month. Good communication from the rental agents and friendly staff when I went onto the office.

A peaceful getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fell in love with a very clean and comfortable unit. Being so close to the beach and shops was amazing and yet we felt a million miles away. However, we needed to travel to Ballina to purchase a pedestal fan as it was quite hot and humid, as it often is at Evans because the only fan in the unit was rusty and utterly useless. We wouldn't have been able to sleep without it. I would strongly suggest the owner either put in ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living area and or air conditioners for just the bedrooms. We paid quiet a bit for this unit and were very disappointed. It really makes it difficult to sleep at nights, especially when it's humid. Can be very off putting and would look at other places instead because of this issue.
