River Ridge 513A - Meredith Lodging

Step into this spacious Mt. Bachelor Village condo and prepare to be wowed. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows bring you sweeping views of the Deschutes River below, the wooded hillside beyond, and the steep, boulder-strewn, sagebrush cliff. You can sip your morning coffee listening to the river roar, the birds sing, and the wind sift through the treetops, whether the landscape is graced with muted desert hues or frosted with new snow. You and your guests will happily gather in the large living room space, with plush sofa and chairs, high ceiling, gas fireplace, wall-mounted flat screen TV/DVD, a dining table, and breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen has all you’ll need for informal dining, and you’ll love the large windows over the sink that bring nature in. The spacious bedroom is made even more open with a mirror wall and floor-to-ceiling windows. The large shared bath has a separate bedroom entrance. Gaze down the canyon as the wind sifts through the trees, or join the 2-mile Deschutes River Trail from the resort. Hop in the car for a five- or ten-minute drive to dozens of terrific Bend restaurants and extensive shopping at the Old Mill District or Downtown Bend. Skiing at Mt. Bachelor is 20 minutes away, and Deschutes River watersports and golf are even closer. Of course, all the Mt. Bachelor Village Resort perks listed below are available to you, making this home away from home both economical and incredibly rich in amenities.

This home can be combined with River Ridge 513B for an extra queen bedroom and full bathroom.

Your kids will flip for their own Kids Club area, with bean bag chairs, board games, and video game screens and controllers. A game room has foosball and shuffleboard, too.

See & hear the rushing DeShutes River!

Wonderful views. Safe & secure location. Nicely stocked kitchen. Comfy bed. This was our best stay in Mt. Bachelor Village so far. (4th visit to the complex.)

Overall was a good stay

Overall it was a good stay. House was clean and looked like the pictures. Hot tub wasn’t working and we notified the front desk who let us know someone will be buy to check on it. Never seen anyone come by so was a little bummed out we couldn’t enjoy that part.

Way better than a hotel room!

My husband & I stayed here while visiting our son who recently moved to Bend. We knew that we wouldn't arrive until almost midnight, so I text the contact # and was immediately given lockbox instructions. There were plenty if linens, hot tub on our private deck was amazing and kitchen was adequately stocked with pots/pans and utensils. We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals so feel confident recommending this condo. We are already looking forward to staying here next time we come to Bend.

Never got help from VRBO. Meredith Lodging. Service was terrible. 10 day rental with no fresh towels or sheets or toilet paper. TV remote batteries were dead, outdoor and deck lightbulbs burned out making access dangerous in the dark. I asked for help. Got nothing from Meredith Lodging or VRBO.

Construction privacy issues; and heating

The property is beautiful and the unit was great. Only two issues made this less than perfect:1. Temp was a frigid 55d on checkin at 6:30pm, and it took 8 hours to heat to 72d. Managers should pre-heat the unit, esp in winter.2. Construction of decking was ongoing just outside our unit, and one large window had no blinds to ensure privacy. We had construction workers 3 feet from our living room trying not to look in our window, but we made eye contact several times.

Mt. Bachelor getaway

Lovely condo nestled in pines overlooking the river. It was so nice to come back to after a day of skiing and soak in our own hot tub, very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spot... felt very private.

Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the condo... amazing views and sounds of the river below.... only complaint was lack of water pressure in the shower and just two towels.

Beautiful location

A perfect getaway with a beautiful view and comfy place to stay. Enjoyed a run along the river with a hot tub afterwards. Easily accessible to getting to the city center and other great locations. We will definitely be back!

Great property. Views can’t be beat. The property management company was not easy to reach and location for check in and check in instructions were weak. Drove around and found the office. Not likely to rent another Meredith managed property which is unfortunate as this condo was great. Maybe since I stayed here once it would be easier the second time.

Fantastic Mt Bachelor Village Condo Has it All

My wife and I have been coming to Bend for a decade now, and have stayed in many Mt. Bachelor Village condos. This unit is top notch - great views over the Deschutes river canyon, deck with hot tub and BBQ, and HDTV for after the day's outdoor adventures. Only minor niggles: hot tub cover is waterlogged and hard to move (weighs about three tons) and there were not even minimal cleaning supplies like a bottle of Windex. Definitely small issues and the unit itself is top notch. Would stay here again.

Great location

This was a wonderful property in a gorgeous location, close to nature and beautiful surroundings. The only downfall was a nonexistent water pressure in the shower and the hot tub motor was fairly loud throughout the stay (but was very nice to have secluded tub). We had a great stay!
