Host was wonderful. The house is lovely and the location is spectacular. Short walk to downtown and three blocks to a great grocery store! Loved our stay and would stay again.
We spent five days in Bend in this sweet little bungalow. It was super clean, comfortable and very tastefully upgraded and decorated. Check-in was easy with a coded lock on the front door. We really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and relaxing in the backyard with our books. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in. Due to an injury, we were mainly there to relax - couldnât do much hiking or walking - and this was a perfect place for it. We did manage to get out for some food and drink. We always dine at Wild Rose Thai. If you go there be sure to try the Thangwa. So good. Bonta Gelato was fabulous; we had drinks at Ladybird - well-crafted cocktails, excellent happy hour and cool vibe/decor. Bar RBC was also a nice spot for a cocktail. Beers at Monkless are always delicious, and we visited Van Henion Brewing, which also has tasty beer, and if you go there, be sure to get the Detroit-style deep-dish pizza from Chonieâs food cart onsite. Out of this world!! We hope to stay here the next time we visit Bend.
Our week in the bungalow was so lovely. Not only is the home comfortable and so nicely set up⊠But also, there was walking access to a great market, the teenagers happily and safely roamed all over downtown Bend and it was quick access to hit the slopes up at Mt. Bachelor. We would surely stay again.
Fantastic house. Well stocked, nicely done, really comfortable beds. Walking distance to Downtown, The Box Factory, Market of Choice, Crux Brewery. This is my favorite part of Bend to stay in. This will be my go to place to stay when my wife and I visit again.
Small classroom two bedroom home. Very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Eclectic neighborhood that is convenient to downtown area and hiking trips.
The house has a lot of charm, we hung out of the front porch and read our books and had a glass of wine. We used the hot tub a couple of times and sat out on the patio in the evening when it was so hot back there. I donât think you could find a place so convenient for everything, easy walk to downtown Bend and all its restaurant and easy walk to the riverfront for morning walks and afternoon bike rides. Great grocery just three blocks away
Great home with character in older and lovely neighborhood. We walked almost everywhere.. downtown, the river, Aliana for dinner. Loved sitting in the front porch and in the back yard.
Kitchen well stocked, great washer/dryer, and a supply of towels!
My husband and I stayed over Memorial Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this home. It had all of the amenities we could think of plus more! Old Mill district, downtown Bend and shopping were all 10 minute or less walk!
We have stayed here before. It is charming with all the essential needs. It was perfect for my wife and I and our two grandchildren stayed over one night.
Such a charming little Craftsman bungalow with all the amenities you need and in a great location. Walking distance to Jackson Corner - a cute local place for breakfast and lunch; around the corner from Boneyard Brewing; two blocks from the Market of Choice - an upscale grocery store; and walkable to the Mill District, River trail; and downtown Bend. Weâd definitely stay again next time weâre in Bend.
Well cared for and appointed. Good instructions and owner response. Location was very convenient. 4 stars is only a comment on some neighbor homes in some disrepair. Great place for my wife and I and our dog.
We moved to Bend to follow our passion for the outdoors - hiking, fishing, running, river floats, SUP, snow skiing and the beauty of the snow capped mountains, forest and water falls - all nearby. And the fact that Bend offers so many craft breweries allows for a great selection of beer! We have traveled many places and the one thing almost everyone notices about Bend is how nice everyone is! We hope you can experience it too.
We chose this home because we wanted to walk to everything that is the best in Bend. Walk to all the best breweries, restaurants, shopping, the new wave park on the Deschutes, ice skating rink and more. Since most everything is within walking distance, you may not need a car. And the new Market of Choice is only 2 blocks away. And you can still enjoy a large private backyard for grilling & relaxing. Although we no longer live in this home, we still live in another home in Bend full time!
This is a great walk-to-everywhere house. Close to all the newest and happening restaurants, pubs and shopping in the new Box Factory. The Old Mill and Downtown Bend are all within a short walk. And the Market of Choice is an upscale market with everything you need and only 2 blocks away. Have a Pet? Mud Bay can help you if you need something. MOD Pizza is a local favorite for adults and kids and is near Market of Choice. And plenty of on-street parking for your car and if needed, an extra parking spot in the alley spot dedicated to our house.
