Retreat to this modern and bright completely remodeled 1930's mill house with a full kitchen, gas fireplace and mini split heat pump (including A/C!), and tasteful decor.
Conveniently located three minutes from the Old Mill District and Hwy 97 access.
With attention to detail at every turn, the home features a cozy living room, colorful kitchen, sparkling bathroom and very comforable bed. Please note the second bed is a sofa bed (the best one money can buy! But still a sofa bed).
The entire home and property is available to the guest, with lots of space on all sides of the home.
This home is located in central Bend in a a modest working class neighborhood with unique homes spanning from the 1930's to modern builds. It has a friendly local vibe and neighbors keep to themselves.
The vacant lot directly next-door (to the north, the "left side" as facing from the street) will be having a small home constructed starting in July of 2024". The construction is directly next door and there isn't much separation between the house. Most of our guests have not found it to be an issue, but if you re looking for guaranteed quiet during working hours, this is probably not a suitable listing for you during the Summer/Fall of 2024.
Loved this little property for my time visiting family. Private, clean, and really appreciated the communication from Ryan and Katie. I will definitely book again. Thank you!
This property is a treasure. Ideal for our small family group. The fire pit outside was a special bonus as the setting for a casual longest-day-of-the-year-evening unwinding after a hard day of driving. Close to town, yet not obviously so. Genial, caring hosts. Weâll be back!
This nicely decorated bungalow was a perfect getaway for my wife and I, with nearby bike routes and only a 20 minute walk to the old mill district. The front patio was perfect for relaxing on summer evenings, and we were able to catch a Bend Elks baseball games at the nearby stadium. Ryan and Katie were outstanding hosts, even checked on us while Bend was suffering power outages across the city. Thank you! Highly recommended, weâll be back!
This was our second visit to Bend to attend a concert at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater (an outdoor venue) to hear Mumford and Sons. My wife and I prefer finding cozy, quaint lodgings to stay instead of the often impersonal setting afforded by hotel chains. This private bungalow checked all of our boxes. It was centrally located and is within easy walking distance to grocers, but a car is recommended in order to see sites that are further out. Off-street parking is provided, and a re-charging station is available for those so inclined. Ryan was very attentive to our needs and provided all necessary information for the home as well as suggestions for places to see and eat. The home is well-appointed, and the kitchen has sufficient implements should you wish to cook at home. We elected to make the morning meal but ate out otherwise. We highly recommend Jackalope and Zydeco Kitchen for lunch or dinner. The weather allowed for outside seating, which only enhanced our sumptuous entrees. A supple mattress made for easy sleep at night, and the water pressure for the morning shower was extraordinary. The square footage can easily fit two people, and the house design allows for âalone timeâ as well. Overall, we were thoroughly pleased to have secured this home for our brief visit. As an aside, a trip to the small town of Sisters will provide stunning vistas of the mountains of North and South Sisters and Mt. Washington and is well worth the 30-minute commute.
SOOOO CUTE!!!! We had a great time! stayed for a concert at Hayden Homes Amphitheater. The property was so lovely. Dont let Google Maps let you think otherwise :P The property has been updated since Google last updated their map lol
Loved the communication from the hosts as well!
My husband and I canât say enough about how wonderful our experience was. The home was beautiful. The property owners were so responsive and made us feel very welcomed. We HIGHLY recommend this property. It is close to everything but still feels quiet and remote.
We only had one night to enjoy this place, but we really enjoyed our time in Bend. The property was great. Exactly as listed. Washer and dryer unexpectedly came in handy, as we were halfway into our week of vacation and needed to repack! It was very quiet. The recommendations in the notebook were helpful and we had a great dinner and breakfast the next day. Hosts were great. Would recommend this place!
