Very spacious

Loved this apartment. Agree 100% with another reviewer that pictures should be updated to show how nice the place is. The balcony deck is huge. Tall ceilings and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. There was even a little “secret” bathroom in the kitchen and one on the balcony. The laundry worked great. There is a gelato place just down the street and many food shops that were the best food we had in Rome. Minor complaints (not really-just things to be aware of)-the shower pressure is almost non existent and getting into the apartment the first time requires use of an app. This was a great alternative to an expensive hotel. I highly recommend.

Excellent spacious apartment

Excellent location, very spacious apartment, well decorated and taken care of. Communication was excellent too. The major disadvantage for us was that there were practically just 2 bathrooms. A third one is located on the roof - which is far away from any bedroom. Plus, the water pressure in all the showers is very weak.

Great Place

Place was perfect! Great location! Just close enough to all the main sights, but just far enough away where things stay pretty quiet. Perfect set up when traveling with large family or other couples.

Truly Splendid

This is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Great floor plan, plenty of space and lots of restaurants close by. Conad grocery store close by. I would definitely stay here again if I return to room. Monica was a great host.

Great stay convient location

Overall, a very nice place to stay. The rooftop is a very nicr ammenity. The place was clean and had what we needed for a 3night stay. It was located near grocery stores, a pharmacy, and lots of restaurants. It was a very short walk to the main rome train station. We arrived very late in the night and the outside door was locked. We had to ring and wake a resident in another apartment to buzz us in. So, try and arrive earlier in the day if possible.

Highly recommend for large groups

The apartment was roomy, clean and well air-conditioned for a July stay. Water was always hot for showers, and there were plenty of staples like salt, pepper, sugar, oils and condiments. Refrigerator space was ample, and beds/pillows/towels were comfortable. The place is great if you have a large party because you can spread out quite easily. The rooftop is beautiful and though it was too hot for lounging, was quite nice in the morning and for air-drying clothes (this would be great spring or fall). We used the projector several times in the evening to hang out and watch Ted Lasso with a little wine. Otherwise we didn't bother with any of the televisions. Wireless internet was dependable and adequate. Location was great, a short easy walk to Termini. Several great restaurants nearby, plus a small grocery a block away. Area not too touristy so prices were reasonable for everything. Neighborhood very safe at night as well. We would definitely stay here again.

AVOID THIS HOST!!! READ THE WHOLE THING!!! Property is nice but host is terrible

Read earlier post by other travelers, this host will try to blame you for damages and other items that have obviously been there before. Tried to scam us for a payment outside of the VRBO platform for additional taxes. Promised a refund of one night because of a bed that was previously broken then refused to reimburse. Then attempted to claim we trashed the place and it took 2 people to clean...OK nice try lady. This isn't her first attempt at the same game, i didn't see the earlier post when we booked otherwise i would have avoided this host. Overall the place was nice and the restaurants on the street are amazing. One of the best gelato stands just up the block. But renters beware and do a thorough inspection of the unit upon arrival and make sure to take pictures! Thankfully VRBO resolved the reimbursement and is supposed to be addressing with the host but who knows. As always get the insurance just in case someone tries to blame you for something that you didn't do.

Very nice spacious apartment well located

Very nice apartment. Good location. Close to train station, bus, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Large apartment. Ideal for a group. We were 9 in total and always add plenty of space. 4 bathrooms with 4 showers. The elevator can cause some small issues sometimes, but hey, it was put in place in 1927, not so bad after all. The online registration process works correctly but it is a little burdensome, with all the photos to be sent in advance. There should be an easier way to do it. The manager of the apartment is very, very responsive and helpful. The reacted very quickly to an issue there was with the on-roof toilet and shower. There à some minor issues that we have raised when leaving only. Let’s hope they put the little « extra love » into this to make it the perfect apartment. Many thanks again. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Warning: NIGHTMARE HOST Alert! Proceed with Caution.

Despite a fantastic rooftop patio, great location and spacious interiors, our recent VRBO stay turned into a disaster, courtesy of the host. While the pictures offered an overview of the dated but acceptable space, the host's behavior made this trip unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. Red flags emerged from the start, initially dismissed as miscommunications. Promised parking vanished upon final confirmation. An inconvenience, but perhaps a misunderstanding. The real nightmare began when we discovered a broken bed frame after a grueling day of international travel and touring Rome. Communicating the issue with the host, we were met with an indifferent attitude. Maintenance was scheduled, but we were never informed we needed to be present, resulting in a futile attempt to rectify the situation during our precious vacation hours. The host claimed attempts to reach us, but no calls or messages were received. Post-checkout, the nightmare intensified. Despite reporting the broken bed and sleeping on the couch for our entire stay, the host shockingly attempted to charge us for damages. A dispute ensued, with her switching to Italian, a sudden change from our previous English exchanges. This host is deceitful, dishonest, and utterly rude. Save yourself – DO NOT rent from her. Your vacation deserves better; this host is a guaranteed headache. Look elsewhere for a stress-free getaway.

Séjour agréable au centre de Rome

La communication avec la gérante du bien à été fluide. L'appartement est spacieux et confortable, avec une disposition qui convenait parfaitement à notre famille. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. Très beau logement avec un accès en terrasse. La gare est située à proximité (12mn à pied) et la visite de la ville peut être réalisée à partir du logement à pied ou en bus ou métro, nombreux dans le quartier. Seul bémol, la cuisine dont les équipements sont un peu vieillisants.

Great place!

Lots of room. The only thing you need to know is steep stairs to get to first floor and one bathroom Is down stairs. I would recommend it. We enjoyed our stay and they fave good instructions and met us at the water taxi stop and walked is to the apartment.

2021 Stay

Great communication with the owner to ensure check-in/checking-out of the property. Great location, plenty of space, and beds for our party of 9, including children. The only downside, actually more of a hiccup, was that I did not have the internet connection to download the check-in combinations to enter the property. However, the representative took my call and assisted me remotely to get in. Overall , great experience.

Großzügige Wohnung

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Schöne große Wohnung mit ein wenig Renovierungsbedarf im Duschbad. Bodenfliesen waren locker und es fehlen Haken für Handtücher. Ansonsten war alles soweit okay. Der Kontakt war sehr gut. Wir konnten auch früher als geplant in die Wohnung. Läden zum Einkaufen im Umkreis von 10 Minuten. Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Perfekt!

Wonderful place and location in Rome

An unbelievable place in a great location! The pictures to the property on the site don’t do justice to how nice it really is! We had 8 in our party and had plenty of space for everyone! An added bonus is the outside terrace upstairs that is gorgeous! The property has a great location to lots of restaurants and small shops. Train station is only a 10-15 minute walk away and all the major tourist attractions are a short taxi ride away. We were met by Monica when we arrived and she was fantastic to work with and provided us with tons of information and was able to set up taxis to several of our excursions. We had a wonderful trip to Rome and the property was a big reason.

Wonderful Place!

This apartment is wonderful. Very nice location, and the apartment itself is so neat! Very unique and charming! We were unable to use the terrace as the weather was uncooperative for our whole stay, but we did enjoy using the projector to watch Netflix in the evening to wind down from our busy sightseeing days. And the BEDS! These were the first comfortable beds I've slept in in Europe! Really nice! Really enjoyed our stay! Thank You! Oh and the gelato place just down the road is really good....make sure to stop there!

Situé au 5e etage avec ascenseur, l'appartement est spacieux, confortable et bien agencé. Il est décoré avec goût. Toutes les pieces sont spacieuses et agréables. Il y a plein de placards, mais pas forcement dans les chambres. Une des chambres est en mezzanine, avec un lit double en bas et un lit double en haut de la mezzanine. Les matelas sont confortables et de bonne qualité. L'appartement est bien équipé, il y a même tous les produits ménagers, du papier toilette et un fond d'épicerie dans la cuisine. Le supermarché Conad à droite au bas de la rue de l'appartement permet de s'approvisionner en nourriture à des prix raisonnables. Ce supermarché n'est pas simple à localiser car situé au rez-de-chaussée d'un immeuble, caché par des grilles en fer. La gare Termini, à 5 min à pied, permet d'accéder au métro et donc aux sites touristiques. On peut également accéder aux sites touristiques à pied ; la fontaine de Trevi etant à 25 min. à pied, en passant par la piazza Barberini et devant plusieurs gelateria. La terrasse sur le toit est très spacieuse et confortable. Cet appartement nous a beaucoup plu, nous étions 8 et nous y étions très à l'aise. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Absolutely splendid with everything needed. Walking distance to main attractions, transport, shops

A lovely apartment that is so close to everything. We were greeted by a lovely young girl, Monica, who gave us heaps of information, that was easily understood. about using all the equipment and the places to visit and eat. It really is a splendid apartment with amazing views from the rooftop. It was too cold for us to really enjoy being outside for long. We would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Wonderful Find

This apartment has all the amenities we wanted. The rooftop patio is a bonus with full dinner seating as well as the dining table on the main floor. We were a party of nine including two small children. More than that would require use of the sofa space win the living/dining room. Monica met us upon arrival and supplied information on the area as well as tourist destinations and transport options. Groceries and restaurants were convenient and the metro and train station were a short walk. Over all an excellent stay.

Fabulous Apartment with beautiful rooftop terrace

We were prepared to arrive at the gorgeous apartment as shown by the website photos ....but it’s EVEN better!! It’s huge, beautifully decorated, well appointed & very clean. Communication with the owner Sveva is very prompt, very good English & kept us fully informed. We took the option of transfers from the airport as we (7 of us) were arriving late at night and were greeted by our driver at the arrivals hall. When we arrived at the apartment we were then warmly greeted by Sophie who gave us a full tour of our palatial apartment. The roof terrace was particularly large & beautiful - it totally exceeded our expectations from the photos. Thank you Sveva for renting your property to us for the long weekend - we had a fab time & hope to return some day. We highly recommend this amazing apartment.

Appartement très beau et bien situé.

Très bien accueillis par Laura et Sveva. Très bel appartement plein de cachet et très bien situé. À 5 minutes à pied de la gare de Termini et à 15-20 min à pied de la Piazza di Spagna. Je recommande vivement cet endroit
