Wonderful flat in Paris

Your apartment was even better than we imagined, more spacious yet cozy, beautifully and warmly appointed, and the views were the icing on the cake. I took my adult daughter to Paris for her birthday. The location of your apartment allowed us to walk, explore, and enjoy many areas of your beautiful and exciting city. We took advantage of it all. Then we would return to the comfort of your apartment. Thank you. Our mother-daughter trip was perfect and made more memorable by the warm atmosphere of your home. Un après Saint Germain des Prés

Un simple élan d’enthousiasme n’est certes pas suffisant pour décrire le bonheur que l’on reçoit dans l’appartement de Madame Olga Grinda ! Nous y sommes restés deux semaines. Situé au 7e étage d’une rue ultra calme, sans vis-à-vis de part et d’autre, il nous propose, par sa géographie privilégiée, un voyage permanent sur Paris. On peut, en effet, apercevoir au loin certains monuments emblématiques de la capitale : Sacré-Cœur, Panthéon, Tour de Montparnasse, Tour Eiffel… Juste en face, à 300m, se dresse la splendide église de Saint-Sulpice qui avec ses deux tours d'architectures assymétriques prend des airs de Notre Dame. Ouvrez grandes les portes du balcon pour écouter les cinq cloches du célèbre sanctuaire et vous connaîtrez un instant magique. Et vient la nuit. Illuminée. Recommencée. Tout autour du confortable appartement, les lofts jaillissent de l’ombre, les fameuses Tours s’illuminent, et nous avec. Le quartier est extraordinaire pour le promeneur curieux et disponible. Entre Saint Germain des Prés et Montparnasse, passez par la place du Québec, dégustez une succulente pizza au Vesuvio, traversez le marché ouvert de la rue du Cherche-Midi, entrez dans les épiceries, les traiteurs, les boulangeries, les librairies, les cinémas, les boutiques de vêtements… Étudiants en théologie, mannequins de haute couture, résidents permanents de Saint Germain et touristes en tous genres se côtoient dans cette sympathique portion de capitale. Madame Olga Grinda, la propriétaire, a tout aménagé avec un goût d’artiste : elle a marqué les murs et les espaces avec de remarquables meubles et objets d’art. Elle est en outre une personne compréhensive et généreuse. J’en ai été l’heureux témoin. Merci encore Madame. Quant à Marie, la gardienne de l’immeuble, efficace et chaleureuse, elle est toujours disposée à vous aider. Difficile, dans ces conditions, de quitter sans nostalgie ce nid parisien! A PERFECT PARIS APARTMENT

We spent three wonderful weeks in the heart of St. Germaine amid the heart of Paris in this perfect setting for our 50th Anniversary. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. Cleanliness, convenience, comfort, accessibility, and more. Where else can you find a 7th floor apartment with 2 bedrooms (one a single), two baths, a terrace, terrific views, a quiet street and opening windows and doors on two sides allowing a fresh breeze to flow through the apartment? And then there is Marie, the building manager who will see to your every need. We highly recommend this marvelous apartment. Bill and Sue, Sarasota, FL.

We stayed in Olga's apartment last September for more than a month and we enjoyed it thoroughly! It is a place for refined persons with good taste, who appreciate beautiful things. Very well designed and decorated with an exquisite classic taste, chic and comfortable. Having two complete modern bathrooms in Paris is a real luxury. The location is ideal, in a small street, no noise at all, near several restaurants, shops and parks. It has splendid views over the roofs and several churches, including the Sacré Coeur and the Tour Eiffel. The terrace is a great place to have a glass of wine, enjoying the evening. Marie, the lady who received us and helped us during our stay, is very kind, intelligent, finds solutions and answers all your questions. Thank you Olga for sharing this jewel with us and we hope we will be able to go back soon.

un appartement exceptionnel

La description de l'appartement est tout a fait précise et conforme a la réalité.Nous avons trouvé un appartement baigné de lumiere avec des vues sur Paris que l'on trouve rarement dans d'autres locations.Les literies sont de toute premiere qualite et la decoration atteint un degré proche de la perfection; en outre l'absence de tout bruit venant de l'exterieur donne sa pleine valeur au choix que nous avions fait. If it's charm you want !

How about this: a wonderfully warm Madame Olga to welcome your inquiry and ease your path, a location to die for in the Latin Quarter minutes from St. Germaine - Pantheon, amazing St. Sulplice, and Notre Dame strutting on the balcon side (oh yes, Sacre Coeur also ;), with the sweeping beams of the Eiffel Tower and the Montparnasse colored tower on the other! And in between the lovliest flowing space to live in this side of heaven (with a his and a her bath)! Ours was an unusual situation, and we had the incredible good fortune to spend months here, in the coldest winter of a 100 years, and not a day passed that we didn't say thanks for this lovely haven and all the nearby treasures of special shops and restaurants and instant bus and metro to everywhere. You may want to just stay home and adore the views as we often did. You will be sooo glad you came!

Perfection!

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for two weeks in September. We had been warned by friends that any apartment in Paris would be smaller than the pictures represented, but that is not the case. We walked in and were immediately thrilled. The apartment is all that is claimed; elegantly and tastefully decorated, large and comfortable. Being there mid-Sept. the flowers were still in bloom on the terrace where I often sat and enjoyed a glass of wine and revelled in the ever-changing sky over Paris. From the terrace you can see Eglise St-Sulpice, the Pantheon, Notre Dame and Sacre Couer; and from the dining room window, the Tour Eiffel! This apartment is in a great neighborhood with easy access to all parts of Paris via metro or bus. Many many restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk, a boulangerie 2 minutes away. And the street is incredibly quiet! Wonderful for sleeping off that jet lag! The owner is responsive and reliable and Marie, the concierge on the premises is friendly, helpful and kind. Our two weeks in this magical city were so enhanced by this "home away from home". When we return to Paris, we will plan to stay here again.

A real bijou!

This apartment is lovely and was perfect for a couple enjoying a week’s holiday. The pictures only hint at how lovely the furnishings and decorations are. The small balcony looking out over the rooftops of Paris was filled with flowers in bloom the first week of April. Furnishings are quite comfortable, with lovely French pieces and original artwork in all the rooms. Modern conveniences include a dishwasher and washing machine, as well as Wi-fi and 2 televisions. High-end linens and a generous supply of fluffy towels made it feel like home. The owner was very accommodating in making the financial arrangements and the building concierge was quite hospitable, even on a holiday weekend. Located just a few short blocks from St. Sulpice, Jardin du Luxembourg, and two metro stops, the surrounding neighborhood has convenient grocery stores, restaurants and cafes. We’ve rented apartments all over the world and this was one of the nicest we’ve ever encountered.

Perfect Parisian stay

This felt more like staying at the home of a good friend with impeccable taste than an Air B&B. The apartment is elegantly appointed with an incredible view out over Paris and in a charming, quiet neighborhood. Nila and Olga could not have been kinder and more helpful. Book this!

Wonderful apartment in the best area of Paris

Best area of Paris, quiet with great shops, cafes and restaurants. Must try restaurant Le 27 Madame, chef does the best duck I’ve ever had. The apartment is plenty big enough for two and the separate bathrooms are a plus. We used the kitchen daily and sat in the balcony which has a view of St. Sulpice, the Basilique and Notre Dam. The owner, made all arrangements for our stay. We will return and stay here again. After spending two weeks in Paris and seeing all the other areas to stay, we feel this area has all the activities we wanted and was much quieter. Thanks for a wonderful stay. A true gem!

Truly wonderful, well-appointed apartment in a terrific neighborhood and convenient location to great shops and cafes. The views were spectacular: St. Suplice, Eiffel Tower, Panthenon. Notre Dame and Sacre C’our (in the distance). The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a nice assortment of glasses and plates. The property manager was terrific.

STUNNING

Olga’s flat was incredibly beautiful. Everything was clean and tidy. Communicating at check-in was a bit challenging because of the language barrier but it was handled courteously and professionally. The furnishings were quality and tasteful. We could see many of the highlights of Paris from the windows. We could even see the Eiffel Tower light up! The air conditioning was much appreciated and worked well but since it was in the bedroom, some fans would be nice to circulate the cool air to all of the rooms. It would also be nice to have some outdoor furniture on the terrace. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and felt like royalty in Olga’s luxurious flat. I hope to return some day.

Amazing views in a perfect location

We were two girlfriends on a milestone birthday trip to Paris and stayed at Olga's apartment for about 8 days. It was heaven. A lovely refuge from days of walking, eating, drinking, and shopping--we were always excited to come "home" at the end of a day of soaking in Paris. The pictures don't do the apartment justice--Olga has some amazing artwork and just the best homely touches to make your stay so comfortable. We each had our own room that opened up with sliding doors during the day to keep the place feeling open and airy. There is tons of light and because it's the "penthouse", you have windows and views from both sides of the apartment. The Eiffel tower on one side (the top 1/4 of it peaking over the buildings) and St. Sulpice and Sacre Coeur (off in the distance) on the other. The apartment is on the 7th floor and there are two elevators. Nila the property manager was very accommodating with our schedule and very responsive. A two-minute walk to the St. Sulpice metro stop and there is a City Carrefour right there too. Just off the Rue de Rennes. We hope to be back to this apartment on the next trip!

Fantastic all around!

Everything about our stay at this apartment was awesome, from the apartment itself to the location and communication with Olga and Nila. Lots of bright space, two bathrooms, a very comfy bed and a couch with a view of a beautifully lit St. Sulpice to your right and the top of the Eiffel Tower to your left at night. Extremely convenient to the metro, grocery stores and all our favorite spots in St. Germain. We also really appreciated the flexible check-in time since our flight arrived early in the morning. This place truly felt like home after a week, and I know for sure that we’ll be back!

Perfect floorplan, classy

I immediately felt at home. The floor plan is unique. Living and dining open to each other. The living room can e opento master or shut with heavy popcket doors. Master has door to short nall with a bathroom on either side. And smaller room can access that hall. And smaller room opens to dining room so it is a loop which makes apartment feel much larger. Tastefully appointed with with artistic touches. Other apartment residents friendly. All the restaurants and groceries you will need withing a few block radius. Olga helper was very friendly and helpful and let us in when we arrived and showed us everything we needed. Plus, the heater works really well!

Light apartment with great views

We stayed 10 nights in Olga’s apartment. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and full of light. From the bedroom and lounge room you have floor to ceiling windows where you have views of the St Sulpice church and the rooftops of Paris. The apartment is serviced by two elevators, most welcome after many hours walking through the streets of Paris. Olga communication is quick and she is very pleasant to deal with. Shops, the metro and buses are a couple of minutes walk away. Highly recommend.

Très bien situé, vaste, au cœur de St Germain des Prés, à proximité de tous les restaurants, boutiques à la mode. Très ensoleillé, grand balcon avec vue sur tout Paris, calme, et décoré avec goût.
