Saint Germain des Prés - Toits - Tour Eiffel - Louvre - Vues de Notre Dame

Situé au cœur du quartier ultra chic de Saint-Germain des Prés, cet appartement triplex situé près de l'École des Beaux-Arts offre un goût unique à l'un des quartiers les plus historiques de Paris et offre une vue panoramique sur les toits de la ville depuis une terrasse privée.

L'appartement est meublé dans un style Art-Déco confortable et se compose d'un salon / salle à manger, d'une cuisine séparée et de toilettes au niveau de l'entrée.

L'appartement est entièrement climatisé sur trois niveaux, ce qui est extrêmement rare à Paris.

Il y a 2 chambres à coucher, une à l'étage inférieur avec lit king size et salle de bain comprenant une baignoire sur pattes (avec douche) et WC, et un dressing / buanderie avec laveuse / sécheuse. La deuxième chambre double située au dernier étage, qui a peut-être déjà été utilisée comme studio d’artiste, dispose d’une salle de bains privative avec douche et WC. Cette chambre donne sur une terrasse privée offrant une vue imprenable sur les toits de Paris, la Tour Eiffel, le Louvre, les tours Notre-Dame et le Sacré-Cœur. L'endroit idéal pour prendre un verre en soirée et regarder le soleil se coucher sur les grands monuments de la ville lumière.

Les trois niveaux de l'appartement sont reliés par un escalier intérieur en bois ancien. L'accès peut être difficile pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, veuillez donc en tenir compte avant de réserver.

Le quartier est chargé d'histoire. À quelques pas de là, vous trouverez le célèbre café La Palette qui, au tournant du siècle dernier, offrait aux jeunes artistes talentueux de l'École des Beaux-Arts des repas gratuits en échange de peintures. Parmi ces artistes figuraient Cézanne, Braque et Picasso. L'une des deux salles du restaurant est classée monument historique et contient encore des œuvres célèbres d'artistes ayant dîné là-bas il y a plus d'un siècle. Perfect in Paris

This apartment is fantastic! Great conventient location near multiple metro lines/central to tourism sites, plenty of grocers, cafes, bakeries within a short walk, and QUIET. I've never stayed in a city location so quiet. Very comfortable. AC!!

40th anniversary trip

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do, easily walkable to several locations and activities. The rooftop sitting area has incredible views across the city, including the Eiffel Tower. The apartment is classic French style and comfortable. The only challenge are the 2 tight spiral staircases leading up and down to the bedrooms. Couldn’t get our large suitcases up and down, but we managed. Overall a very nice property and experience.

Amazing location and property

The property was beautiful and safe. The location was amazing- you can see almost everything from the rooftop terrace including the July 14th fireworks! It was a life saver to have air conditioning with the global heat wave that was happening this summer. You will not be disappointed with this property.

Wonderful location in the middle of Paris!

My husband and I and another couple stayed here for 9 nights to see the Christmas lights and Markets in Paris. This triplex served all our purposes as it has 2 full en-suite bathrooms and each of the bedrooms were private . The living/dining room was very comfortable and the whole place was decorated in Art Deco furnishings. The small kitchen was nicely appointed with 2 different coffee makers as well as other accoutrements. We really enjoyed our time here and got used to the wooden circular staircases. The piece de resistance was the terrasse on the roof where we enjoyed wine while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle every night on the hour and you can also see Sacre Coeur, and the roofs of Beaux Arts and St Sulpice and St Germaine churches. Can’t wait to come back!!

Excellent location and views

This place is a true gem in the best Paris location to see many of the sites. Notre Dame, St. Chappelle, the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay, Cluny Museum, all within walking distance. From the upstairs bedroom you can lie in bed and see the Eiffel Tower. There are narrow spiral staircases to get to each bedroom, but as long as you are not handicapped, or have knee issues, it is no problem. Love, love, love this place.

Lovely apartment

We love using VRBOs when we stay in Paris. This one was really nice. The only thing amiss was the downstairs shower was hard to adjust and the shower head sprayed all over. So we all used the upstairs shower. No biggie. Other than that, really lovely. Perfect location.

Excellent Location. View of Eiffel Tower

Property was as expected based on photos and description. Charming with lovely views and walking distance to many museums and gardens. Temps were in the high 80s during our visit but careful use of the window shades and the 3 a/c units kept us comfortable (not ice cold like in the US, but definitely cool by European standards). Building was quiet and felt very safe and secure. Kitchen very small but well stocked. Oven, cooktop, coffeemaker, dishwasher, washing machine all worked well. This is an incredible location with a tiny grocery directly across the street and numerous cafes, shops, pharmacies, etc. within walking distance. Would happily stay here again and again.

Rooftop is a stunner!!

My friend and I spent 4 lovely days at this apartment-It was her first time in Paris and the rooftop terrace is amazing!! We had coffee up there and post dinner cocktails every day. Having 2 separate bathrooms (and a half bath!) is so hard to find—this was perfect. The bed linens and towels were all high quality and plentiful. The kitchen had a giant fridge for Europe and although we didn’t cook-this place would be great for a dinner party! Not going to lie-the spiral stairs up and down are tough-we just unpacked our suitcases on the main level and carried our clothes up/down. Easy enough. The neighborhood is also amazing! Steps from a little grocery and wine store. Wonderful cafes. Central to everything. Will definitely book this place again—if I am lucky enough!

Unique property in the Latin Quarter

WOW. What a great location. A few minutes to many great attractions and just 10 minutes to the Metro/RER for any others. The property is a classic French small apartment with tons of character. The spiral stair cases can be tricky to navigate, but they add to the experience. And, how about that terrace view! We spent every night on the terrace watching the lights come on the Eiffel Tower (with some beverages, of course). Where else in Paris can you sleep with a view of the Eiffel Tower from the bed?!?! There are TONS of cafes, bakeries and more nearby and a small grocery store where we stocked up on beer, wine, bread, cheese, etc. It is not fully of modern conveniences and space, but it's exactly what we wanted when visiting Paris. There was laundry and three small air conditioners that helped cool the apartment down when we got back each day. Just stay here and enjoy the ambiance of the left bank and the Latin quarter!

Great apartment in central location

I stayed here with three friends for four nights. The apartment is roomy and well-appointed and is located in a great neighborhood within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants as well as the Seine, Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle. A few things to know about the property... while it does have AC, it does not sufficiently cool during the day especially in the upstairs bedroom. We didn't care as we were out all day and at night we left the windows open which was wonderful, even though it was mid 80s during the day, it cooled off at night. The rooftop was magnificent. We spent morning coffee and evenings with wine up there and even watched the Eiffel Tower sparkling at 11pm one night. Amazing! The property has an elevator (three people max) but you still need to climb another flight of stairs to get to the apartment and the circular stairs in the apartment to the two bedroom are very narrow and challenging if you have a larger suitcase (we didn't so again, no problem for us). I highly recommend this property!

Very Nice..Just as Advertised

We (two 70ish couples) very much enjoyed our stay. Apartment was very well situated for touring both the Left Bank and crossing over to the Louvre, Marais, etc. Decent proximity to Metro. Unit is on fifth floor but there is a small elevator. As has been noted by others, the two bedrooms are located up and down from the main floor by a very tight winding staircase. Other than manipulating bags, we learned to deal with this but worth noting if stairs are an issue. Kitchen is also very small but it’s Paris and nearby nice restaurants were plentiful, especially a few blocks south to the St.Germain area. Rooftop terrace is as advertised…lovely either early morning or late evening. Stephan, who handled the check in process, met us downstairs and did a very good job of getting us set up in the apartment. Would definitely recommend to friends. PH

Great place and great location

My family and I loved this property. It is located in a quaint neighborhood in St Germain but not far from great food and breakfast options as well as just across the river from the Louvre. The pictures don’t do the property justice, especially the upstairs bedroom and adjacent rooftop patio. We enjoyed having a glass of wine on the patio in the evening and loved watching the lights of the Eiffel Tower at 10 pm, 11 pm and midnight from our bed. The lower bedroom which our daughter enjoyed was very comfortable and the full bathroom was fantastic downstairs. The 2.5 bathrooms and air conditioning units on each floor made it very comfortable. We will happily recommend this to others and will stay here again!

That view!

Location was great with about a 10-minute walk to the metro. The apartment was spacious with everything we needed and a view of the Eiffel Tower that did not disappoint. The downside was the WiFi did not work for the duration of our stay (it would connect but we could not access the Internet). Host might’ve been able to fix it but we were out of the apartment 10-12hrs/day and it was always too late to call by the time we returned and remembered it was an issue. We stayed at the height of summer so air conditioning was important to us. There is one large window unit that claims to cool the entire apartment. This is not really the case. The very top room was kept almost too cool, the middle living room was around 80°F and the bottom floor master bedroom was way too hot. Nevertheless, check-in was great, location was great, elevator (after 20,000 steps/day touring) was a lifesaver, and the apartment was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. Restaurants, grocery and the Seine all right nearby. We enjoyed our stay!

Sunrises and Fireworks

From the rooftop patio we saw the amazing July 13/14 fireworks from all over the City! And several very cloudy sunrises were truly fantastic! 103 and 106 degrees the last 2 days we were there. We were very comfortable because of the great air conditioning! And right in the vicinity of everything. Two weeks definitely not enough time to see it all. Terrible weather in July. So don't book July. That's our month.

Rooftop Magic

This is a very special place, and while the photos are accurate, they can't begin to convey the actual experience of being on the top floor, higher than any of the surrounding buildings, with views of Paris-- rooftops, church spires, the Eiffel Tower-- all around. If you're there over a Sunday, get your coffee and listen to the church bells. Amazing. AND there's a dining table for 6 on the top floor patio! The layout of the apartment is perfect for 2 couples, with 2 spacious bedrooms and bathrooms (unusual for Paris apartments!) separated by the middle floor with living room/kitchen. Hosts are great-- I left something important behind and they went to the trouble of sending it by courier to our next stop. Thank you, Jean Francois! We'll be back!

Absolutely Lovely!

We had a great stay! Two couples over 60, and friends for life. Perfect location! Walking distance to practically everywhere - the Louvre, the Arc…restaurants, shops…! Beds & pillows comfy, sheets super soft, bathrooms (each with a toilet) were clean and great size. The views from the upstairs bedroom and balcony were AMAZING! (Yes, you had to go through the bedroom to get to the balcony, not a problem for us). Watch the Tower light up each night at 10, 11, and midnight - breathtaking! Lots of antiques and Knick-knacks. If we had a complaint, which we don’t, it would be the kitchen - very tiny, but fairly well equipped, and you’re in Paris - eat out! There are a lot of stairs, a spiral staircase going up and one going down. You enter on the living area of the apartment, you have a flight of stairs to walk up from the lift. This is not child friendly, but you are told this in the write up. It just adds to the Paris experience. We would all stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for a wonderful place to call home in Paris!!!

Awesome Girls Trip

Great rental in a FABULOUS location. Can’t get more centrally located than this location. We were 2 moms with 2 recently graduated from college daughters wanting to explore Paris for a week. This apartment was 3 levels and had 2 separate bedrooms, each located on the lower level and upper levels, and had the living room/dining room/kitchen on the middle level. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with great water pressure (esp for Europe). Plenty of towels and extra sheets. We only needed the A/c on day 1 and was typical A/c for Europe-cooling off the area a “bit.” We opened the many windows every night and was perfect sleeping weather. I do imagine the top bedroom would be very warm in the summer with the sun baking on it all day, even with A/c, but the views from that bedroom are amazing. The roof top patio was by far the BEST part of the apartment. From the patio, you can see the Eiffel Tower (Great for nighttime pictures), the Louvre, Norte Dame Bell Towers, and so many other things. The only negative was the very narrow circular staircases you needed to go up and down to get to the other levels of the apartment. Even our 22 year olds walked slowly and hung on to the rail. No issues for us, but elder people might have serious issues navigating this. Also to be noted that the building is very secure…one code and a separate key to enter. We always felt safe. I would recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again myself! Owners/managers were very responsive!

Perfect Location

Just returned from 4 nights in Paris and the location of the property was perfect! Wonderful terrace with incredible views. This is a large property by Paris standards with 2 1/2 baths. The spiral stairs are narrow and would be difficult for those with mobility issues. The kitchen is small but functional. The top floor gets very hot during the day. The listing says the property has air conditioning however at check in we were told there is no air conditioning. This was not a problem at night as temps we’re cooler in the evening. Overall great stay and would rent again

From my very first inquiry about the apartment, the communication was excellent. All of my questions were answered quickly, and the instructions for the meeting at the apartment for our arrival were clear and efficient. We received helpful emails from Maeva. Steven met us at the apartment and was very thorough at showing us around the apartment and gave excellent suggestions of places to patronize around the neighborhood. The pictures online of the apartment were spot on. The apartment is in a perfect location for a wonderful walking neighborhood, cafes, galleries, grocery, train stations, and the Seine River only a few minutes walk. We had 3 adults that occupied the 2 bedroom apartment. It was perfect in every way! A tiny but tidy kitchen with everything we needed including a big refrigerator with a freezer for ice. The living room and dining area were so pretty and Parisian with nice decorating and very comfortable furniture. The spiral staircases going to the upstairs and downstairs levels were beautiful. Both of the bedrooms were nice with en-suite bathrooms. Nice linens and towels. We really enjoyed evening drinks on the upstairs terrace with a nice table and chairs and a view of the city that was spectacular with major monuments including the Eiffel all lit up. The building the apartment is in is very nice and very secure. It has a small and very efficient elevator. This was our first visit to Paris and we felt very fortunate to have rented this wonderful apartment! We hope to return to Paris again and hopefully this apartment will be available for us to rent again! Many thanks to Steven, Maeva, and the owner!
