Designed by a famous fashion designer this large central london apartment in an old Victorian building , has a large roof terrace for sitting out on and a beautiful modern well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom with a large walk in shower!

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a new washing machine

It has a king size master bedroom, another bedroom with 2 double beds and a large sofa in the living room . The flat is warm private and very cosy and designed to be a home from home.

There is a 70 inch smart tv in the big living room

We provide towels and Egyptian cotton bedding - very comfortable !

Very close to all of central london, 20 minutes walk to Big Ben and London Bridge. Kennington tube is 5 minutes walk away

Good English pubs nearby , lots of restaurants and Borough organic food market and Bermondsey antique market is close by.

Transport around London could not be better with subways , buses and trains all within 4 mins walk, and Big Ben only 18 mins walk.

Très bon séjour dans cette maison à 3 étages, très agréable malgré le manque de climatisation et la chaleur intense des derniers jours. Bon contact avec Matthew très à l'écoute.

Nice place to stay!

We were more than welcomed by Irma and Matthiew, everything was perfect. The flat is very close to the station of Keninngton which is very practical (The Northen line would drive you easily to all the places to see) I recommend it!

Nous étions 9 personnes nous avons été merveilleusement accueillis par Irma. L'appartement est très bien situé, proche des bus et métro, très pratique pour visiter les lieux touristiques de londres. Irma est une hôtesse fantastique, très à l'écoute Christelle

"Bel appartement, très bo...

"Bel appartement, très bon accueil avec champagne pour le réveillon ! Idéalement situé avec métro et bus à proximité, légèrement bruyant avec les ambulances de l''hôpital du quartier. Appartement très bien équipé, les guides touristiques mis à disposition nous ont permis de découvrir de très bons restaurants !"

Great Stay in London

This was a perfect place for our trip to London. It was just far enough away to have quiet nights, but close enough for a quick ride to anywhere we wanted to go. It had everything we needed with plenty of towels. Thank you for hosting us. Also the host was very responsive and made our check in experience even better.

Close to Everything

Great stay at the flat. Space for my family of 4 to spread out when needed. Unit is 3 stories. Family room on first floor, kitchen and twin beds on second floor and king bed and only bathroom on third floor. Kitchen well equipped to make breakfast through dinner. 5 minute walk to either Elephant and Castle, or Kennington tube stops. We also used the bus service with a stop 1 minute from the apt. Would stay here again for sure.

Great central London location

We had a great 5 night stay at this location. It was centrally located with easy access to the underground. The owner was helpful and responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Schöne Unterkunft in Kennington

Schöne Unterkunft auf drei Ebenen (nicht barrierefrei!) mit einer tollen Dachterrasse. Zwei Schlafzimmer (nicht drei wie im Inserat) und ein Wohnzimmer (kleiner als nach den Bildern erwartet) mit einer ausziehbaren Couch, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Gut ausgestattete Küche ohne Geschirrspüler aber mit Waschtrockenmaschine. Mit der Tube ( zwei Stationen in je 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar) oder dem Bus ist man in maximal 25 Minuten im Zentrum. Mit dem Rad dauert es ungefähr genau so lange. Ein Tesco Express und ein Salisbury sind ca. 5 Minuten entfernt. Die Jazzbar im Haus ist bis ca. 23 Uhr gut frequentiert mit Musik und Co, was uns nicht gestört hat. Auch die Lage an der Straße hat uns wegen der Doppelverglasung nicht gestört. Handtücher und Bettwäsche gab es reichlich und alles war tipptopp sauber und aufgeräumt. Matthew war immer gut zu erreichen für Fragen und sehr kulant, was die Zeit des Checkouts angeht (Danke dafür!). Alles in allem eine schöne Wohnung für vier Personen - zu sechst wäre es etwas enger geworden…

Great Location for Family Visit to London

We loved how quick it was to get to sights via the Northern line. Lots of pubs and spots to eat. Easy access to grocers and parks as well.

Central and spacious

Stayed in this great rental for 7 nights with my two adult children. Really appreciated having a large bedroom with two big beds, a chaise, and a desk. We had plenty of space and could either be together or spread out. The kitchen was well-appointed and we had everything we needed for making snacks and meals. It was too cold to sit on the deck (okay, maybe not for others, but I'm from Southern California). I did enjoy sitting in the kitchen and looking out at the view from the deck - very peaceful. The owner was responsive and kindly checked in after we got there. The arrival and departure process was super easy. Was able to enjoy London from this central location using public transit and walking - easy and quick to get anywhere we wanted to go. Would absolutely stay there again!

Lots of space in convenient location

Great stay overall. Pros: very spacious, convenient location, lots of restaurants close in Elephant square, groceries, coffee and green space complete with a cute mini trampoline and zip line that my teens loved, close tube access, all within walking distance. Cons: 3 story layout with toilet only on 3rd level. Fine for us, but just be aware that if you aren't down to walk up all the stairs to use the restroom it may not be for you. Stairs are loud and I constantly felt like my kids were surely aggravating somebody in the other units just by walking around. But hey, it's a 180 year old building. What can you expect. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Property in Great Location

My wife and I and our three children (16, 16, 17) stayed at this property in mid-October. It was exactly as advertised and had a wonderful kitchen. Which is important because we like to be able to cook for the family. The bedrooms and bathrooms we're comfortable and perfect for us. We spend quite a bit of time on the terrace. , as well as living room downstairs. We enjoyed the location, come on, especially our kids. Come on because when you walk out the front door and go to the right about 200 yards/meters, you are at the Kennington tube station., which is very convenient to the rest of the city. It is important just to note that this property is in Kennington and not Kensington, and that is the Tube station you will be looking for. That was not a problem because it was still close to everything and had lots of wonderful restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The property is right above and next to a multi level restaurant and jazz club. We did not have any problems with the music or noise, and in fact, my wife and I had dinner and a concert one night and never had to venture more than about 10 yards/meters from home! All in all, great stay and everyone, including our teens, liked it.

Central to it all

Location was amazing. No more than a 15 minute tube/bus ride to almost anything. Very responsive host. The tv didn’t work (which is honestly a small issue, as we’re there to see London, not tv), but he had a new tv installed very quickly. Nice little terrace to have breakfast/drinks on. Yes, there is noise. But it’s in the middle of a large city. The fans help massively. The combo washer/dryer did a great job with our laundry - we did carryon only, so we were fine.

Convenient and Priced Well

This property has easy access to a tube station and made it simple to explore, without being on the north bank. Two convenience stores down the street added to the convenience. I would definitely use it again.

Central London Apartment

Our family stayed at the apartment for 2 weeks. The apartment is centrally located in between two subway lines which was fantastic. We used the subway daily which was easy to navigate to the places we wanted to visit. The apartment was lovely and clean on arrival. Matthew had provided all the essentials required for a few days which was great. The apartment was spacious for our needs and having a washing machine was terrific. Matthew communicated well with me before we arrived at the property. There is a little traffic noise if you have the windows open as you are on a main road but the location is great as there is plenty of pubs and supermarkets close by. I would recommend this property if you want a central location to travel around London. Thank you Matthew, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice Family Apartment - Tons of Space

This is a lovely 3-floor flat that suited my family (2 teens and 2 adults) well. This apartment was easily accessible and a 5-7 min walk to the Tube. Everywhere in Central London was about a 20 min tube ride away. There were several grocery stores a short walk away and we easily had breakfast and several dinners at the flat. This flat was great for our stay. No A/C, but the landlord has many many fans around. I would bring ear plugs b/c it is on quite a busy corner and there was much street noise, even on Sunday morning. But with earplugs, everyone slept well.
