Lovely place to stay. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of amenities we didnât use, but appreciated they were there. Host was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.
Two nice size bedrooms with a full kitchen, washer and dryer sitting area outside. Wi-Fi was really good. We would go back to the property next time in London.
It was really nice to have a well stocked kitchen as well as laundry facilities. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Our host was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and was very kind when we were struggling to figure something out. Tube access was best done through a bus ride first, but this property is also close to several rail stations and it was quite convenient to south of the Thames excursions. Battery park is also quite a lovely place to walk overall I would definitely recommend staying here.
The property itself was very accurate to its description. We really enjoyed being able to stay in a flat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This made getting ready in the morning with two teenagers much easier. It was also nice having a full kitchen, even though we did not use it, it was nice to have the option! We were also very grateful to be able to wash some clothes while we were there. The only thing I would say is a downside to this location is location. It is not far away from the center of things, however, we definitely had to add an extra time because the location was not central to all the âsightsâ. It usually took us anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes to get to a location by train and or bus. If youâre looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle, this is a fantastic location! There are a few shops just around the corner and many more within an 10 to 15 minute walk.
Pluses: 1) Spacious, 2) Well-equipped kitchen, 3) Washer and dryer, 4) Quiet neighborhood Minuses: 1) Furniture with stained upholstery, 2) Problem with lockbox. Owner sent a YouTube video that showed us how to fix it, but not the easy check-in we wanted after a trans-Atlantic flight.
Our group was two married couples all about 60 years old traveling together. We stayed here for three nights and would definitely stay here again. It was quite spacious with a working washer and dryer that were separate. The kitchen was also stocked with a variety of coffee supplies and other miscellaneous items that provided some with extra added fun!
Property is well kept and afforded the extra space we required for a couple of Family Dinners. The outdoor Patio is a great feature, along with a good BBQ.The Appliances are first rate, Dishes and utensils are plentiful. No issue serving several people for meals. There was a lack of serving dishes/platters but not a significant problem. The only area which needs improvement is the Cooking Pots and Pans. The frying pan and other items are difficult to cook with as they are showing their age.Location was very good for Uber connections to anywhere in London. Overall a great place to stay when exploring London.
Plenty of room and easy access to shops nearby made our stay mostly very comfortable. But London was having a heatwave and the massive windows made things a bit too hot. Curtains might have helped. Overall -exvellentbplace to stay
First trip for us, visiting our daughter whoâs studying abroad. It was the perfect place for us! Walkable, clean and comfy, and our host (David) was terrific!! We would definitely stay here again if we come back.
Super clean, a 20 minute walk to local tube station. WiFi was slow but host were quick to respond and helped with issue. Great up and coming neighborhood.
We loved our stay. It was perfect for our family of four. We spent our days sight seeing and were able to come back and rest. This was the most well stocked kitchen of any vacation rental weâve ever had.
We easily took public transportation to all the sights in London.
My daughter and I spent almost two weeks in this property during our trip to London. The property was exceptional, the location was better than we expected, and our host was fantastic.
The two bedroom, two bath apartment was just what we needed. It was well stocked with the necessaries - sheets, towels, dishes, appliances, etc. - but the "little things" were also addressed - the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. From cookware to dinnerware to spices and utensils, everything we needed was there. It was a truly worry-free experience.
The apartment location was far better than we expected. It's in a quiet neighborhood across the river from all the noise and congestion of London. When we finished our site-seeing days it was a quiet refuge to relax and recharge for the next day. There are four bus stops within a five minute (or less) walk and those stops service multiple routes that we were able to use to get everywhere we needed to go in London. We enjoyed the bus rides - and the people watching - and also connected with the Underground as needed. Also within a five-minute walk are two grocery stores, a convenience store and multiple take out and eat in restaurants.
David, our host, was quick to respond to a minor issue that came up on our first day. It was resolved before we returned from our first day of site-seeing.
This will be my "go to" for future trips to London. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
The VRBO was well maintained and updated. The bathrooms were nice and bed was comfortable. Itâs a bit far from central London so lots of walking and relatively long commutes.
As mentioned in the title, the apartment is located in an established residential neighborhood. It is quiet and well kept. The apartment interior is mostly modern and well maintained. Internet is strong, kitchen amenities are excellent, full size fridge, with a washer and dryer. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and could easily accommodate a party of four (there were three of us). Sainsburyâs and Tesco are about a six minute walk away and there are several restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed.
Unfortunately, there is no nearby access to the Tube. Bus service is only a three minute walk from the apartment which worked well for us, but I realize is not everyoneâs cup of tea. Second issue was that the next door neighbor has a very yappy dog and on a couple of evenings the neighbor seemed to walk around till very late in the evening (thin walls).
Overall, Iâd give it a 4 1/2 out of 5, which is pretty darn good.

Lovely, comfortable apartment near Battersea Power Station
We were 3 cousins gathering from 3 different places to attend a family wedding in nearby Brixton. The location was near cafes, restaurants while also convenient to the wedding venue and pre and post events.
It is definitely just below one of the landing paths for flights to Heathrow.
David was a very attentive host.
This is a great 2 bed/2 bath flat in an up and coming area. The neighborhood is quiet but is easy walking distance to great shopping and transport lines. Live like a Londoner but away from all the tourists.
First time traveling to London and this place couldn't have been a better house to stay in. Everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms are all updated and very clean. David, the owner/manager provided great communication throughout the booking/checking in process. We particularly loved the location of the house, its mere few minutes walk from a bus stop and really close to a large grocery and great restaurants. We loved our trip to London but it was long and busy days visiting all the sites. Coming home to this tranquil and relaxing house was really what we needed. We plan on coming back to London at some point and we will definitely stay here again.
