Plage:
Notre bâtiment est situé entre deux des plus belles plages de Puerto Vallarta et nos deux balcons ont une vue magnifique sur la ville et l'océan. Playas Gemelas disposent le meilleur sable blanc et l'eau turquoise de la baie entière et est un endroit idéal pour aller à la baignade et plongée en apnée. Il est agréable et calme et jolie comme les Caraïbes! Souvent, vous pouvez voir la variété des poissons, des oiseaux et des dauphins. Chaque année, au cours de leur hiver saison d'accouplement des baleines visiter la baie.

Lieu de construction:
- Service d'autobus et de taxis se trouvent en face de l'immeuble. Le bus s'arrête toutes les 15 minutes, à environ 12 minutes en voiture de la vieille ville de Puerto Vallarta, coûte 8 pesos

Great stay at Girasol Sur Dec 16-28

We had a great stay at Aleksandra's condo. Photos were accurate, the view is amazing. Listened to the waves crashing and watched the whales from the balcony. Condo is well equipped with everything that you will need. Loads of towels as well which was appreciated. Host is responsive and easy to communicate with, instructions were clear and simple. The building is great, restaurant is handy (good food and service!) and there's a small market that is well stocked for daily needs. Wish we could have stayed longer, thank you Aleksandra!

Aleksandra was great, very helpful and we loved our stay in her condo at Girasol Sur! The views were amazing, the bedrooms were perfectly accommodating and the kitchen was great as well. Relax on the balcony and enjoy the whale watching, dive into the pool, enjoy the sandy beach and waves, or pop into the city for some excitement. Lots of towns nearby to explore. We cant wait to come back ;)

Best views and beach

The Rental: Clear communication with the owner, easy check-in, realistic photos, efficient AC, comfortable bed, reliable WIFI and cable/Netflix, good water pressure, well stocked kitchen utensils and appliances bear in mind you get what others left behind, we had to buy salt and sugar. Big new fridge. Convenience store in the building, overpriced and limited choices. Restaurant on site but on the expensive side. Clean not heated pool, great beach on the north side(right) however very powerful undertow. The location is a 20 minutes bus ride to the Malecon aka middle of the action, one way 10 pesos, very convenient and reliable, last bus leaves Malecon by 10:15pm. Being in the hotel area you are away from shopping centers and supermarkets. Walmart and Costco are 200 to 300 pesos Uber away, or an hour by 2 bus. Use Uber from the airport. Oceanview to die for. 1 USD= 16.4 pesos in the city or 13 at the airport, mid December 2023 Whale watching from the balcony is wonderful. Cash...no credit cards. Building and unit show age, sofa not comfortable. Steep 2 ft wide staircase leading to bedrooms .. mobility issues??. Clean and functional? Absolutely yes. Cleaning fee 1020 due on check out not clearly mentioned prior to confirmation. The City: Except Beer, everything else is very expensive compared to Canada (and consequently to the US). From the toothpaste, groceries, OTC or Rx meds, gas, alcohol...even at Costco or Walmart... everything is pegged to the USD. Explosive gay scene inDT

Perfect beach and adventure getaway

Our family of five stayed for nine days in March and had a wonderful time. We definitely want to go back! The condo accommodated us well, and our host Aleksandra was very responsive. The location is perfect if you dont want to be in the hustle/bustle of PV, and the beaches are two of the best in PV. The view from the condo's two balconies is incredible--we saw whales, dolphins, rays, and/or turtles daily and the sunsets are phenomenal. We also snorkeled around the rocks close by when the water was calm and saw sting rays, eels, and lots of fish. PV or southern adventures are easy to get to by bus, uber, or taxi, and the front desk staff at Girasol were very friendly and helpful as well. Can't wait to visit again!

Great Snorkeling Off Beaches

My family stayed here for the week of Fall break during hurricane season which threatened our trip from day one. Lucky for us the storm was north of PV, however, the city was locked up tight with restricted access to the beaches on this property. The check-in was easy and we were handed a candle in case the power went out but no matches. We only lost power once and it was brief but not fun bc we couldn't find any matches or lighter in the room. During our stay, the main elevators were out of service so we had to use the service elevators. It was OK, but good thing there were not a lot of people there at the time, otherwise, you'd be waiting a while. The pool area was relaxing and service was good. Once the beach opened they would wait on you down there as well. The beach was small and got washed out from the heavy rains that knocked the power out and caused the visibility to be low for snorkeling. The beach drops off fast and is deep but very nice for swimming. Many people swim out past the roped-off area and along the coastline for snorkeling. On our last day, we saw a beautiful stingray and sea turtle right in front of the condo. As far as the room goes, good to know that the stairs are STEEP and difficult to navigate. The A/C was great in all the rooms. The bathroom is tiny, and be sure to bring all your basic shampoo/conditioner etc since none is provided. Another note, there is no normal-sized trashcan in the kitchen and you should save any plastic bags you acquire to use since only one-liner is provided, as well as just one roll of TP per toilet per stay. You can buy your own in the mini-mart and they do sell trash liners individually. The mini-mart was awesome and the prices were good. Many options for basic breakfast lunches stuff. They also had an alright variety of booze and beer. Pick something up at the duty-free on your way through the airport if you want the good stuff. The restaurant has good food and I loved the green juice., try the red snapper, and tortilla soup, YUM! the front desk was helpful if you needed help with booking excursions and calling for a cab if you prefer that over Uber. The ride to the Romantic Zone was about 10-15 minutes and no more than $159 pesos. The ride to the airport was $300 pesos. We were a little surprised at how far away from the city the condo was, but the transportation was easy enough to use. We never used the city bus bc we did not want to wear masks. (which is required on the bus and airport)

Our stay here was fabulous from start to finish. Everything was exactly as stated in the listing information. The unit is perfectly located in the middle of the building on the 6th floor. The views from the living space and the master bedroom were amazing! Laying in bed listening to the waves and watching the water was so relaxing! The kitchen was well-equiped with everything we could possibly need, as well as chairs and boogie boards for the beach. There were plenty of towels, sheets, blankets and pillows to make our stay comfortable. The facilities of the resort were well maintained. Only cash is accepted at the resort restaurant, which wasn't a problem. We had access to both beaches on either side of the building, which were both the most beautiful beaches we saw our entire stay. The city bus stop is located right in front of the resort and came by on regular increments. All in all, our stay was amazing and we would definitely love to come again!

Truly relaxing vacation at beautiful south shore of Puerto Vallarta

Our vacation in Puerto Vallarta was fabulous! Morning walks on the beach, swimming in crystal clear ocean, relaxing by the pool and visits to the city were just what we needed to unwind and recharge. Aleksandra's condo was amazing! Perfect location (15 min. by car from the city centre) and check in and out was effortless. The view from the balcony was breath taking and this was our favourite spot to lay back and enjoy a morning coffee, a bite to eat or have few drinks watching the sun set. We also had an unobstructed view of the ocean from the upper level master bedroom. The condo was very clean and well equipped including small kitchen appliances, beach accessories, wi-fi, TVs, linen and lots of towels. We are very pleased with our stay at Aleksandra's condo and would recommend it whole heartedly to anyone looking to spend relaxing time in a beautiful setting!

Awesome vacation!!

We stayed at Aleksandra’s beautiful condo for 33 nights! The view when you enter is truly breathtaking! Her place has two levels which was very nice if anyone wanted to go to bed early or in our case putting the children upstairs while the adults enjoyed card games. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with and then some! Having a half bath downstairs was an added bonus! There is also a balcony off of the master and you have the sound of the ocean to lull you to sleep. We ate at the restaurant downstairs often with the ocean right there...wow!! The little grocery store in the building had so much to offer there was less need to buy groceries in town. My husband and I as well as our friends and family who visited all agree that if we ever go back to PV we would definitely want to stay here....you will NOT be disappointed!

Our second year here did not disappoint!

We came back here for a second year! As usual we had a great time. Loved going to sleep with the sound of the waves. The condo has everything you need. We ate at the restaurant on music nights! Often took the bus into town. It stops right outside the door! Would highly recommend this condo .

Perfect Mid-winter Getaway

My sister and I arrived the first week in January for a ten day stay. We loved everything about the condo! The views from the lower and upper level balconies are breathtaking. The condo had everything we needed, including a fully operational kitchen. It is close enough to town, about a fifteen minute bus ride, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The staff at the condo building were very pleasant and accommodating. Onsite restaurant is OK, not great, but waitstaff is very friendly and come around poolside during the day to bring food and drink if desired. Beaches on either side of the building are beautiful, but the waves can be a little intimidating. The pool was lovely, with plenty of chairs to go around. There's an onsite library too, so really no need to haul hefty tomes around! There is also an onsite convenience store, handy for almost anything you need with very reasonable prices. We took the bus into town several times. Bus transportation into town is 10 pesos and very efficient. You can also take a bus south to Mismaloya and/or the breathtaking Botanic Gardens. We had such a wonderful time, we are already planning a return trip next year!

Girasol in September 2018

My wife and I stayed in Aleksandra's unit for 18 days. We found 614 to have two beautiful balcony's. The lower balcony for watching the rays and fish swim by in the morning and lying in bed at night looking out over the upper balcony and its beautiful view of Banderas Bay and the PV lights. The unit was furnished with everything you could need, from beach gear such as boogies boards, chairs etc. to plenty of kitchens gadgets for cooking & coffee including two refrigerators. Girasol Sur is a hidden gem with great beaches, thunder & lightning shows over the bay and fantastic sunsets. Aleksandra was a very gracious host and her unit did not disappoint.

Wonderful spot!

We stayed for one week in August and had a lovely time. The space is comfortable for a small family, the pool has a lot of shallow swim space for new swimmers, the public beach next door is magical. The private beach is a little less nice with harsher sand and rougher breaks.The restaurant on site is very convenient with average food and friendly staff. The convenience store is great since there are no other stores close by. The building is an easy 15 minute bus ride into town, super quiet, no blaring music or party noise to worry about. Loved the summer electrical storms from the balcony! The only teensy tiny complaint I have about this space is the noise made by chairs dragging on the tile floors in adjacent apartments, during the daytime it is not such a problem but when it is repetitive late into the night it can be bothersome. Even though I would definitely consider going back someday!

Amazing location and ideal layout!

Our family of 4 just had a fantastic stay at Alekandra's condo in the south zone of Puerto Vallarta! With 2 gorgeous balconies on 2 levels of living space, there was plenty of room to cook, relax and enjoy the views including the famous PV sunsets. They have every cooking utensil and small appliance needed, plenty of towels, TV's in every room.The pool and beach were equal to a 5 star resort and it wasn't very busy at either. Kids could go up and down to the condo on their own, making it very convenient for everyone. Beds were very comfortable which is something we don't always find in a condo rental. This was definitely one of our best VRBO rental experiences and we will be back!

Great spot in Puerto Vallarta

My husband and I just returned from a one month stay in Alekandra's condo in Puerto Vallarta. It was in the Girosol Sur south of old town. The condo was a two storey unit with a fabulous view of the ocean. The condo itself is exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed for our stay- linens, kitchen supplies, chairs, beach chairs etc. The owner was excellent to deal with and always resoonded to our questions quickly. However, what made our stay were the people. Everyone was so welcoming from the wait staff to the front desk and the guests themselves. Also the bus stop in front of the condo was great. You could get to town in fifteen minutes. We loved our stay and have rebooked for next year!

Great Christmas and New Year's in Mexico!

Our family of 5 had a great 16 day stay at this condo over the holiday season. The condo had everything we needed to be comfortable, including a fully equipped kitchen, multiple TVs, three bathrooms, and air conditioning in each of the rooms. No dishwasher forced the kids to wash and dry the dishes! The condo is great, and the beach is even better - perfect for kids of all ages and quick, easy access. PV is 15-20 min away, and the 8 peso bus ride into town (with a stop directly outside the building) could not be easier to use. We would happily return to Alex's condo!

Simply amazing!

Magnificent view, the apartment had everything we needed and more. Amazing beach, friendly staff, our stay was perfect! Look forward to returning!

Spectacular!

We loved staying in Aleksandra's condo. We've been home almost 2 weeks now and I'm still thinking about our time there, and hoping I will make time to return soon. The view is NICE from the balconies. The sound of the waves is very relaxing and we saw a Humpback whale from the balcony, dolphins, and numerous fish, rays, etc. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. We even saw a meteor falling over the bay one night. At night, one can see the lights of Puerto Vallarta in the distance and various firework shows along the shore. The condo itself (very clean) is well supplied with cooking items, DVD movies, most things needed for a comfortable stay. My girls (ages 11 and 13) enjoyed their bedroom and own bathroom with the 2 twin beds. The master bedroom with the king bed is comfortable and situated so that one can see the ocean and bay while lying lazily in bed. The condo complex is wonderful. There is a small market at the building entry with basics - drinks, eggs, some produce, packaged food, ice cream, fresh bolillo bread sandwiches, just no fresh meat or much produce (understandably). We used the pool almost every day. The restaurant overlooking the beach/bay (not open to the public) was fun to dine in. The local beach (reached through a gated entry) was great for swimming, snorkeling, beachcombing and the water is warm. The water was pretty clear off of the rocks next to the restaurant, as compared to the Los Arcos Marine Preserve (very close to the Condo HOA) which was murky with low visibility (maybe 15 feet at most). The public bus stops just on the street outside the condo HOA and gets you to the downtown in about 10 - 15 minutes or go in the other direction to the Botanical Gardens (very beautiful) in about 30 minutes, or Mismaloya Beach in about 10 minutes. I hadn't visited Puerto Vallarta in about 30 years - it has grown a lot; many Americans live there and much English is spoken. Also has a Costco, Walmart, and Sams Club, although they are quite a distance away (we went to Costco once at the beginning of our stay when we were at a VRBO in the Romantic Zone to stock up on food). Communication with Aleksandra was great and she was very helpful (thank you Aleksandra!).

Loved it!

Had a great stay. Lovely two floor condo on the 6th floor with a spectacular view of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay. Comfortable accommodations. Nice beach area. The restaurant and store onsite are a plus and the busses stop right outside the facility. The steps leading to the second floor bedrooms would be a little tricky for those with mobility issues. Great communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

Simply the best yet!

We travel the world and have stayed in dozens of VRBO and other rental properties in over 14 countries. Aleksandra has the best venue we have experienced. The Condo is exactly as it appears. The beautiful surroundings are even better than the pictures! Spacious, immaculate, with 2 balconys it is to die for. The staff is super friendly and always ready to assist. The beach is as good as it gets ANYWHERE. The Los Girasoles Restaurant for guests only is terrific and well priced. The weight room, pool table and ping pong area was a huge bonus. The Pool is extremely well cared for and refreshingly kept at a nice temperature. Aleksandra is both accommodating, knowledgeable and quick to answer any question. We absolutely loved our 2 1/2 month stay. A perfect "10".

Fantastic Condo, Wonderful View!

We have stayed in PV several times over the past few years, including this same condo building, however a different unit. The description of this condo (614) does not do it justice. It is a two story unit with the 2 bedrooms on the second floor. The master unit has a king sized bed with private balcony that over looks the beach and towards the night lights of PV. There are two full bathrooms on the second level which was great and a half bath on the main level. Two big screen TV's in the unit and smaller one in the second bedroom with twin beds. The unit is amazingly equipped with very new appliances in a nice clean kitchen. The main level also has a balcony over looking the beach. We loved the fact that this unit had its own WiFi with a strong single as opposed to the the condo building's WiFi that you mainly have to go to the lobby to get reception....and it has an internet telephone allowing you to avoid those expensive calls back home! We stayed in a different unit last year which was a studio, and were so happy we upgraded to this unit. The one thing the entire building has in common is the staff, which are all great. The small restaurant always is friendly and serves some very good food. There is beach access to two sandy beaches and the rocks in front of the condo have some very good snorkeling. Overall we could not be happier with our stay! I'm starting to sound like an owner of the unit....wish we were! Will definitely return.
