Kona Makai est un complexe au bord de l'océan avec piscine, bain à remous, courts de tennis, 3 barbecues, entrée fermée la nuit. Un bel aménagement paysager, de nombreuses places de parking, un complexe propre et calme, vous n'entendez que le son de l'océan, pas le trafic. Quand la mer est plate, la plongée avec tuba est bonne juste devant le complexe,

Notre unité est facilement accessible au rez-de-chaussée, pas d'escalier. Vue surélevée de la véranda de l'océan et de la piscine. Nous sommes à environ 1 km. de la ville, marche facile, avec de larges épaules sur Alii Dr,

Free WiFi rapide sécurisé, nécessite un code.

L'unité a une laveuse / sécheuse, ventilateurs de plafond, AC dans la chambre, carrelage, moquette dans la chambre, nous venons d'installer une nouvelle Smart TV 43 ", et un lecteur DVD Blu-Ray, leur est aussi une télévision dans la chambre Le lave-vaisselle a été remplacé, il y a beaucoup de casseroles, vaisselle, cafetière Keurig, plus une cafetière ordinaire, un nouveau four à convection, un grille-pain, des ustensiles en plastique pour manger / boire au bord de la piscine. Un nouveau ventilateur de tour pour la chambre à coucher. La salle de bain a été entièrement refaite en septembre 2018, avec une nouvelle douche en céramique, une coiffeuse, un miroir et des lumières.

Prenez vos repas sur la véranda à la table et sur des chaises et profitez de la vue sur la mer, entourée de plantes tropicales environnantes, pour préserver votre intimité. Ou j'ai des plateaux dans lesquels vous pourrez emporter votre nourriture dans l'espace barbecue. La véranda a un ventilateur de plafond et de la lumière pour profiter de votre soirée à l'extérieur.

Nous fournissons des chaises de plage, glacière, serviettes de plage, boogie boards, sac de plage, palmes et masques de plongée en apnée, parapluie de plage, sèche-cheveux, raquettes de tennis, fer à repasser, trousse de premiers secours.

Great stay

The condo was great, very well equipped with everything we needed for a 5-day stay. Great sunset views from the lounges in front of the pool. Contractors were restoring the building while we were there so there was noise during the day but not much of an issue since we were gone most of the day.

Great location

Needed to have a good cleaning by sliding door. Looked like a critter left some droppings behind. Floor fans need cleaning. Blew out dust so didn’t use. Housekeeper needs to do better. Liked the location and convenience of property amenities. Enjoyed watching the sunsets. We walked to one of the restaurants one evening down on Ali’i drive which was nice since it was only a mile away. Host was attentive and checked in on us. Liked the security of a gated community. Would stay there again.

A great place to stay

Claudia was an excellent host. Great communication. The condo had everything needed for a wonderful stay. You are steps away from a great snorkeling spot in front of the condo. The condo had a nice view of the ocean.

Beautiful property

The Kona Makai is a beautiful property. The ocean views from this particular unit are wonderful. The owner was very easy to reach and kept in touch for all our questions throughout the stay.

Great time at the Kona Makai!

This place has a lovely feel to it! Handy ground level entry with a well equipped kitchen and numerous other amenities such as beach chairs, snorkel and bodysurf boards. Grounds and pool area offer many areas to sun and read or relax and the bbq's are great. People are very friendly here. Hope to be back next year.

Comfortable Condo with Great Access to Ocean and Downtown Kona

We stayed here for the Ironman World Championship and loved the comforts of Claudia’s condo. Very quiet and full of amenities which made our stay in Kona most enjoyable. Great internet, tv, pool, hot tub, full kitchen with washer/dryer, comfy bed, parking, etc. We will definitely return to this condo next trip to Kona!

Wonderful place to stay!

This condo was a perfect location to stay. It had the downtown Kona area close, but you also feel out of the chaos. Driving places isn’t bad from here. I think most things were 1-2 hours away (pretty normal on the island). Thanks for letting us stay, Claudia!

Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely place!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this place. It was very close to everything. The view of the ocean was amazing. Snorkeling right in front of the condo was an incredible experience. We would love to come back to this place if ever we have a vacation again here.

Great Time

Claudia made everything super easy. Gave tailored suggestions for snorkeling sites and other sightseeing spots. Property was nice and convenient. Perfect sunset spot from condo.

I am an owner at Kona Makai, and I rented this condo for my stepdaughter and her partner when we were over in September. The condo was very well maintained, had everything needed, and they loved their stay. Reasonable price and very responsive owners. Highly recommended.

LOVE this Place!!!

Claudia’s ocean front complex is perfect!! Being able to wake up every morning to having breakfast on the lanai, is the best way to start a day! And in the evening, to sit out on the lanai and watch the stars, a great way to end the day! The location is perfect to downtown Kona which has so many great restaurants! The pool and hot tub are amazing. The chairs out to watch the waves, oh my! I think I’m in heaven!!! Claudia has you covered as well with all the amenities one could need! Beach towels, a cooler, plates and utensils, condiments. Everything was absolutely perfect! So glad we chose Claudia’s place for our Big Island Kona vacation! Would choose again and highly recommend!!!

Awesome condo, great hosts

We really enjoyed staying at Claudia and Jim's. The condo has everything that may be needed for a nice and relaxing holiday including lots of beach gear and even a kettle for tea lovers (which we really appreciated). The bed is also one of the best we've had in a vacation rental. Very nice complex, with water access, which is also rare for Kona. Claudia is a great host, easy and clear communication, very helpful throughout the process. Hope to stay in this unit again!

Great Time.

We had a wonderful time at Kona Makai. We have stayed in this group of condos several times. Our condo was on the first floor which made my husband happy. It was feel stock with all the items we needed. It had coolers and beach chairs for those trips to the beach. Working with Claudia was so pleasant.

The condo was well stocked. The cooler and blue ices was very useful. The kitchen was well stocked. Very clean and great view. I was very excited about the Keurig. Claudia stayed in touch and I appreciated that. I would highly recommend.

Lovely stay

My husband and I loved our stay here. The lanai is lovely - great views of the ocean, the pool and the gorgeous landscaping at the complex. The kitchen has everything needed to cook simple meals. Appreciated having beach chairs and umbrellas and snorkeling gear. Parking is good - always able to find a spot. There is AC only in the bedroom, on a timer. With ceiling and standalone fans, it’s easy to get airflow through the condo (even in August!) The complex itself is very quiet. Talking on a cell phone on the lanai is not allowed and there are many signs in public areas about courteous cell phone use. This was great for us but might not work for some. Our host is amazing - great communication. We definitely hope to come back!

This is a perfect location and beautiful property in Kona!

Aloha! Claudia is an extremely organized and concerned host! She made sure we had our information well in advance and was quick to reply to any questions that we had. The condo is in a prefect location! 1 mile from town and .5 miles to a market. 2 miles to a boogie board beach and 3 miles to snorkel. You can rent bikes to get around and the bike stop and Kona Trolley stop are right outside the complex. If hearing the waves at night from the lanai or from your bedroom is on your list this is your place! Lots of little extras like beach chairs, snorkel gear and a cooler for day trips were available. I would highly recommend Claudia and this very nice condo for your next stay in Kona! Stephanie

We have been coming to Kona for 20+ years, we are both avid scuba divers and also love to snorkel. This island is great for shore diving, plus there are several dive shops that have boats for those that like boat diving. We had looked for a condo in this complex for a long time and finally found the one we wanted. The unit has a great view of the ocean and the BBQ's are close, . The unit is stocked with just about anything you need to make meals.

The island of Hawaii is large and has a lot to see, you will need a car to get around, though some people have rented from us and just walked to town or taken the little trolley bus that goes by our condo on Alii Dr. everyday. There is a guide book in the unit that gives good directions to beaches and all the attractions that the Big Island has to offer. The volcano and all the tropical water falls are on the other side of the island.
