Près de Umbertide, dans la province de Pérouse, la villa est idéale pour des vacances reposantes et des itinéraires d’intérêt touristique permettant de découvrir les belles villes de l’Ombrie et de la Toscane.

La villa, totalement indépendante et délimitée par une clôture, dispose d'une voie d'accès privée.

La maison a une largeur de 250 mètres carrés, un grand salon avec cheminée, une cuisine moderne et fonctionnelle, quatre chambres à coucher avec salle de bain, pour accueillir confortablement 8 personnes; Il est équipé du chauffage central (non inclus dans le prix), de la télévision par satellite, d'un lecteur DVD, d'une chaîne hi-fi et du wifi.

Chalet raffiné

 En plein contact avec la nature et immergé dans le parc naturel de Monte Acuto, la villa a été récemment reconstruite en parfaite harmonie avec le caractère naturel et les caractéristiques paysagères du lieu.

Pierre d'origine, poutres en bois, carreaux faits à la main: tous les matériaux proviennent d'un savoir-faire artisanal et de techniques anciennes respectant la tradition rurale des anciennes fermes toscanes et ombriennes.

Le raffinement des détails et l’attention portée aux détails font de la Villa Costa Piccola une ferme élégante et accueillante au cœur ancien.


Jardin et piscine

 Grand jardin bien entretenu et grande piscine éclairée: la villa est idéale pour ceux qui recherchent des vacances reposantes et de bien-être.

La piscine est entièrement carrelée, dispose d’un système de désinfection électrolytique au sel, mesure 12 x 6 mètres et a une profondeur progressive jusqu’à 1,50 mètres. La piscine est ouverte en haute saison.

Le jardin, entièrement cultivé avec des oliviers et des chênes, entoure la villa et comprend un patio avec pergola pour les déjeuners et dîners en plein air et un espace barbecue avec four.

Delightfully bucolic!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Costa Piccola! Such a spacious home in an idyllic countryside setting, and Leonella was a fabulous host. The first and last nights, she cooked two delicious meals for us- which was quite a treat. We even got up the courage to make pizzas in the fun outdoor pizza oven one evening. A very peaceful and relaxing time was had by all!

Lovely stay in a beautiful villa

We enjoyed a lovely week staying at Villa Costa Piccola. Leonella was very helpful with any queries we had both before and during our stay, and made us a lovely tiramisu on arrival which the whole family enjoyed. Lots of places to explore locally (we visited Montepulciano, Arezzo, Assisi and Gubbio). We also spent a couple of days at the villa enjoying the pool and the peace and quiet. Villa was spotless and well equipped. Supermarkets in Umbertide were easy to get to for any supplies needed. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a getaway in the Umbrian hills.

Beautiful and spacious home

Wonderful Italian home, very spacious for our family of 7 adults. Each family had an ensuite bathroom, good supplies, nice roomy kitchen and excellent hostess (Leonella)! Our hostess stocked the kitchen for us the first day and cooked dinner as we arrived. She also cooked a birthday dinner for our 80 year old matriarch. Wish the weather would have been warmer for us to use the pool. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very private and very quiet.

Flawless!

Leonella was super helpful from first enquiry until we left. We needed a place which would be suitable for one adult with mobility issues and a need for peace and for our friends small dog. Villa Costa Piccola was just perfect - plenty of space, spotlessly clean, well kitted out and a beautiful outside area and pool. It is remote with a white road to conquer, but that was what we wanted. The welcome present of tiramisu was much appreciated! Our time there was limited, but we would have gladly stayed another week. Will definitely want to go back sometime.

Beautiful house on the Umbrien countryside

We had a delightful week at Leonella’s beautiful and spacious house in the Umbrian countryside. It is the perfect house for a large family or two families of four. The pool is great and spacious and the garden stunning. Leonella surprised us with a delicious homemade tiramisù and made us feel very welcome. There is a nice hiking trail (Mount Acuto, about a miles walk to the trail, which is a 2.9 miles loop) with beautiful views and an Etruscan tower. Good location for day trips to Assisi, Peruvian, Gubbio and even Cortona in Tuscany. Leonella has compiled a nice folder with ample suggestions for day trips, sports, restaurants etc. We can highly recommend a stay at Villa Costa Piccola!

Beautiful property & lovely host.

We loved our stay in this serene setting. It was a great fit for two couples and a friend. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is a plus. Our host, Leonella, was gracious to keep the pool open beyond the prescribed closing due to the excessively warm month. Leonella was very responsive to our needs, changing linens once a week. We had her cook one dinner upon our arrival and it was spectacular. The only thing a one must be aware of is that it is rather “off the beaten path” and up a longer dirt road. Make sure your rental car is equipped to handle that type of road. Beyond that, we enjoyed Umbertide and Umbria. Casa de Piccola is everything as is described on VRBO.

About the road : I have traveled a lot in America "on the road", and I know very well the long, straight American roads . I understand that driving on other roads is difficult for Americans, but when they come to Umbria they should know that they will not find long, straight roads especially if they book a property on a hill. The road that scares them is just 1 kilometer long and can be traveled by any type of car. I would avoid a Ferrari but all the others are fine!

Fantastic hideaway in the Umbrian hills

We stayed at Villa Costa Piccola for a week at the end of July 2023 and we had an amazing time. The villa is hidden away in the Umbrian hills about a 20-25 min drive from the centre of of Umbertide with the last leg on quite a steep (up and down) dirt track. The villa itself is nestled in amongst the trees that adorn the hill- totally private from everyone. There is one more villa further along the track but we heard nothing and no one for the entire week which is exactly what we were after. The villa has 3 proper bedrooms, all with en-suite- 2 with a shower and one with a bath with hand-held shower. The fourth bedroom is on the mezzanine which sits above the living room and kitchen and has no bathroom. The only gripe is that the air conditioning is not in any of the bedrooms which made it quite uncomfortable on the very hot days…some fans might have helped but there were none in the house. The pool area is fantastic with views through the trees across the valley. Sun hits the pool from early morning to gone 6pm- we spent hours lounging here. The kitchen is relatively well equipped and suited our needs for four people- no issues there. Overall we had a lively time here. We had a week of very hot weather and enjoyed the pool and the constant buzz of the cicadas- the only noise you’d hear all day, everyday. I’d really recommend this place if you’re after private and secluded time away….we loved it.

schöne Unterkunft und eine tolle Gastgeberin

Wir sind als Familie mit 2 Hunden angereist. Leonella hat uns eine genaue Wegbeschreibung inklusive Fotos zugeschickt. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Das Grundstück ist riesig und sehr gepflegt. Unsere Hunde haben es geliebt, es immer wieder zu erkunden. Den Pool konnten wir wegen des schlechten Wetters leider nicht nutzen. Leonella kam trotzdem 3x die Woche, um den Pool zu reinigen. Das Allerbeste zum Schluss: die Gastgeberin. Leonella ist ein toller Mensch! Sie hat für uns zur Begrüßung ein Tiramisu in den Kühlschrank gestellt und ist uns die ganze Zeit über mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Check-out war auch unkompliziert. Vielen Dank an Leonella für einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Perfekter Ort für Ruhesuchende. Großzügiges und sehr gut eingerichtetes Haus. Wunderschöne naturnahe, komplett umzäunte Aussenanlage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Above the clouds

Villa Costa Piccola is a beautiful house inside a regional park above Umbertide. Leonella was a great host, who responded quickly to all of our needs. The house is nicely decorated and very comfortable for a small group. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the views are amazing. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful setting. Thank you, Leonella. Special note: The last stretch of the drive to the house is a narrow white road, which, at first, can be a little scary--but you do get used to it.

One of the best

Leonella is a great host. The house is beautiful, it’s location stunning and the grounds are beautiful. Our family just spent a week at here (Aug 17-24) and had the vacation of a lifetime. Arrangements were made for pizza lessons and a private chef. The same man did both and he was great with the children and a remarkably excellent chef. Leonella cooked a more rustic meal for us as well and it was perfect. Make sure to visit the town of Montone-trust me!

Vorsicht-falsche Objektbeschreibung

Vorsichtig: Falsche Objektbeschreibung!!!! Klimaanlage nicht inklusive, Vermieterin teilte vor Ort dann mit, das sie pro Stunde 1,- Euro für die Klimaanlage berechnet. 1 Klimagerät im Obergeschoss montiert, keine Wirkung auf den Wohnbereich und die Schlafräume im Untergeschoss. Schlafzimmer unerträglich drückend und schwül. Lüftung durch offene Fenster nicht möglich da fast alle Insektengitter defekt sind. Diverse Insekten im Haus von Spinnen, Grillen, Käfern, sogar einen Skorpion hatten wir im Haus. Spülmaschine war defekt wurde der Vermieterin gleich bei Anreise mitgeteilt, jetzt lässt sie diese und Insektengitter von unserer Kaution 500 Euro reparieren. Vermieterin behält die volle Kaution ein obwohl wir das Haus einwandfrei hinterlassen haben(Videobeweis, Fotos mit Datum und Uhrzeit) Dreckiger alter Kühlschrank. Nicht beheizter Pool- trotz 35 Grad Außentemperatur -baden nicht möglich. Haus nicht kindersicher, im Haus durch offene Treppengeländer Absturzgefahr, ebenso um das Haus- kein Zaun der Kinder vor den steilen Abhängen schützen kann. Der gesamte Garten, auch tagsüber ist voll von Insekten, Rasen voll von Bienen-alles nicht erholsam. Kann mit Fotos und Videos belegt werden. Unfreundliche und sehr unhöfliche Vermieterin, die Mieter bei Mängelanzeige wüst beschimpft. Haus direkt im Berg mit steilem Zufahrtsweg, nicht Wohnwagen geeignet obwohl Vermieterin das im Vorfeld mitgeteilt hat, Weg hat PKW Breite, nur mit Vierradantrieb sicher zu befahren! Müll muss selbst 5 km in das Tal gefahren werden trotz Mülltonnen am Haus- wir mussten am 3. Tag nach Aufforderung der Vermieterin Müll aus Tonnen herausholen und runter fahren. Vermieterin teilte das dann auch vor Ort erst mit, da die Müllabfuhr nicht den Berg hoch kommt. Alles in Allem sehr ärgerlich. Haben das jetzt unserem Anwalt übergeben.

All that follows is documented by Homeaway. I report the message sent by the customer the day after his arrival; " Hi Leonella, Thank you so much again for your help, so we finally could arrive very well!. Also thank you very much for preparing the house, we found everything in a very good condition! A very beautiful house! Gerd" This to prove that the house was in perfect condition and the guest had all the assistance. The problems started after a few days, unfortunately all caused by themselves and for which compensation was obviously requested. The behavior they had during the remaining days is unrepeatable, just read the review to understand the falsehood and rudeness. Nothing of this review is true. The review written by the guests arrived the week before and after him prove it. Being kind and welcoming doesn't always pay when you're dealing with so problematic people. As he wrote, he arrived with caravan, the question is: Why having a caravan he stayed in this terrible home for two weeks?

Fantastic mountain getaway with a wonderful pool and amenities. 100% recommended!!

What a wonderful villa and a fantastic location. From start to finish we loved being at Villa Costa Piccola and were very sad to say goodbye and travel back to the UK. Leonella was a fantastic host, escorting us to the villa on the first night in a thunderstorm and providing us with a beautiful cooked meal and bottle of wine on our arrival. Throughout the stay Leonella was happy to provide local information, arrange a fun pizza lesson for the family and cooked us a delicious meal from the ‘Villa Costa Piccola Menu’ one evening on our second week. The villa was just as beautiful as the photos indicate and had all the amenities for our 2 week stay. The pool looks over a the Umbrian hills and we spent many happy hours during the day and at night sitting by the pool enjoying the view. For the adventurous hiker you can walk from the villa into the Umbrian hills. The nearest town, Umberside, is about 20mins drive with a breath-taking route down the mountain. We would recommend visiting Lake Trasimeno, Gubbio, Perugia, Spello and Spoleto – all lovely Umbrian medieval towns with a lot of cultural sights. We would highly recommend Villa Costa Piccola to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in the heart of picturesque Umbria.

Familienurlaub

Wunderschönes Haus mit Pool. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie, 4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder und 2 Hunde in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Leonella war als Ansprechpartner immer erreichbar und der Kontakt sehr freundlich. Wir würden unseren Urlaub, immer wieder hier verbringen.

wonderful house and perfect host

Thank you for a fabulous week, peaceful, relaxing, warm and sunny. We played in the pool every day and had two lovely bar-b-qs using the best outside kitchen we have ever seen. Our favourite trips were Gubbio and Assisi (very quiet and spiritual)… the last time we went we have up trying to park! Lake Trasimeno also made an idyllic day out, taking the boat across the lake with lunch on the island. Chris and Caroline

Vacanze indimenticabili

Grazie per averci ospitato in questo luogo incantevole. Abbiamo trascorso dei giorni indimenticabili. Il giardino, la piscina a ridosso del bosco e lo stile dell'arredamento degli interni ci ha trasmesso una sensazione di benessere e di tranquillità: molto difficile da trovare in altre strutture simili. Il servizio fornito dal proprietario è stato eccellente. Lo consigliamo a tutti coloro che sono amanti della natura e del relax. Valde

Lovely house in a gorgeous location

The house was absolutely wonderful. So much care and thought had gone into providing the perfect place to relax. We almost felt we were staying in a private hotel. In addition the location was superb, we loved waking up to total silence save for the sound of birds singing. Our three teenage children also loved the house - especially the pool, the barbeque and most importantly the outdoor speakers for the sound system - they were in seventh heaven!!

A real paradise where you can feel part of nature

Our vacation in 2016 has been the 8th time that we rent Villa Costa Piccola. We have never been disappointed and we therefore keep coming back. The house itself is very pleasant. It is fully equiped and very convinient for a stay of 8 people. The surroundings of the house is what makes it so special. A real paradise. If you are looking for privacy and the great feeling of being a part of nature this is the perfect place for you. The swimming pool is great. it is positioned perfectly and the scenery while swimming is beatifull and most relaxing. the owner of the house is a charming lady, always ready to assist with anything needed. She is also a great cook and we were fortunate enouth to enjoy it. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the area, all, within 3-15 Km.

CASA VACANZA

La villa e' bellissima, decorata con gusto. L'ubicazione e' straordinaria, poiche' si trova immersa in un bosco sulle pendici di una collina nei pressi di Umbertide. Il giardino e' meraviglioso, la piscina bellissima e la vista che si gode dalla piscina mozzafiato. Un posto perfetto per una vacanza di assoluto relax in uno dei posti + belli d'Italia.

un soggiorno fantastico

E' un luogo favoloso per trascorrere dei giorni in relax perfino se si deve fare un meeting di lavoro. Proprio ciò che ho fatto invitando i miei colleghi friulani con le rispettive mogli. Sono rimasti entusiasti.

Fantastic secluded villa

We were a group of 7 adults and we spent 7 days at Villa Costa Piccola and it was absolutely perfect. The villa is well finished and very comfortable for up to 4 couples. The villa is tucked away down a private road and it is very quiet - perfect for those looking to get away and relax. There are large gardens and plenty of areas inside and outside the villa to relax. The views across the valley are fantastic. The owner was very friendly and even left us with a delicious homemade tiramisu when we arrived. Having your own transport here is essential. The local town is about 15 minutes away but it is a very pleasant drive. I would highly recommend Villa Piccola. We had a fantastic time and I would definitely go back.

Splendido soggiorno in villa

Eravamo coppie di amici alla ricerca di un luogo tranquillo ( ma anche vicino a centri di interesse da visitare) che fosse accogliente e ben arredato.Tutto corrisponde.. e molto di più!!! Temevamo il freddo e la pioggia, ma non siamo stati traditi né dal tempo,né dal luogo, né tantomeno dalle bellissime e invitanti foto del sito. . Una settimana indimenticabile nel cuore della verde Umbria in questa villa dall'arredo impeccabile e dal servizio eccellente. Lo consiglierei a gruppi di amici che amano l'atmosfera chic... senza dover spendere troppo. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo!!

Was will man mehr?!!!

Die Villa Costa Piccola war einfach Spitze! Sie ist einfach nur weiterzuempfehlen! Wir waren zuvor schon in verschiedenen Ferienhäsern in der Toskana und in Umbrien, aber dieses war eindeutig am besten.
