quiet, private, near county park and hiking trails. While a couple of miles from downtown amenities, unit had everything that you would expect at home, just slightly smaller.
Our stay exceeded expectations. The home was unique and comfortable. Met all of our needs and then some. Very quiet. Great view from front of property. Located near town.
We enjoyed relaxing in the back yard. The host made us feel very welcome with quick assistance and left a lot of snacks and breakfast items for us to enjoy.
Edgar and Amy are the nicest hosts, I appreciated the snacks they left out for me after my morning flight. They provided adequate privacy, were very kind and welcoming throughout my stay. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a short-term rental close to San Anselmo.
Beautiful area! Hosts provided all we needed: small yard for our pet, small kitchenette, sitting area, large bedroom with a very comfortable king bed and a very nice bathroom! Privacy was nice, also.
Cozy unit with a nice sized bedroom and bathroom, and a walk in closet. The private fenced in area is really cool. Be sure to read the host's notes regarding suitability for your stay.
We felt very lucky to find a place to stay within walking distance of our sons home in San Anselmo. The hosts were very easy to communicate and work with. The area that we stayed was clean, friendly quaint, and perfect for our three day stay. The host left breakfast goodies, snacks and fresh flowers on the tables. It was a wonderful place to rest at night, and we will certainly be back the next time we visit our son.
We loved staying at the Sleepy Hollow home. It was spacious enough for us to spread out but cozy enough for us to feel right at home. When my husband and I had Zoom meetings at the same time, we were able to be in separate rooms and undisturbed by the other. Amy and Edgar were friendly, communicative, available, and happy to help. I loved the attention to detail and the extra touches that just made our stay more enjoyable. From the huge king-size bed to the number of seating places and tables to the selection of breakfasts and coffees available to the lovely welcome basket of goodies upon our arrival. We would highly recommend this place to other couples.
It turns out I know Amy and Edgar from 24 years ago. It was wonderful to bring each other up to date.
Life if full of surprises. This was one of the very nice ones.
Quiet, comfortable stay. Warm touches provided by the host which really made it feel like home. Prompt responses. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for the wonderful experiences
This unit is in a beautiful neighborhood. Itâs quiet and just what we were looking for. The breakfast goodies and snack basket were an excellent plus. We were pleasantly surprised to see a coyote on the hill the first morning and deer in the driveway later.
Great location. Spacious accommodation. Because of where it is situated in the house, the rooms are rather dark. Fridge and toaster but no cooking surface. Friendly, helpful hosts.
This is a wonderful quaint property. Clean and private. Deer in the backyard to greet you in the morning. Manager Amy so wonderful to work with and so kind. Definately will stay again.
Great 3 night stay, great communication from host with arrival info. The apartment is charming and clean with small outdoor seating/dining area thatâs so cute and relaxing. The snacks and goodies were above and beyond. Definitely would stay here again if returning to the area. Thank you!
I stayed here twice while visiting my daughter and grandson who live near by. This location was close by and convenient, affordable, clean and accessible.
Wonderful stay in Marin County. We had a very pleasing stay with Amy Jo and Edgar. The home is nicely appointed and the hosts provided lots of amenities that made our stay very convenient. The surrounding area is beautiful and we had deer surrounding the home on several evenings. Plenty to see and do around here also!
Quiet, restful property which was just right size for two adults and our pup.
In quiet neighborhood but close to shopping, groceries and a wonderful dog park.
Very walkable, if you are fit enough to handle the hilly ups & downs of the road
Clean, well furnished with amenities.
Amy is a fiber artist/fashion designer and hubby Edgar is a published author and UCC minister. Edgar has traveled through Europe and lived in Karlsrhue and Frankfurt Germany. We're very much into Indian, Italian and Mexican food, European and local wines, entertaining, gardening and art of all kinds. As for hosting, here's our experience: we've met folks hailing from Shanghi to Stockholm through the former International Diplomacy Council program here in San Francisco and have welcomed visiting diplomats and guests from all over the world (for dinner that is) we think we might just be ready for prime time hosting . . . .
