What a beautiful quaint spot! All the windows little next to hang out in hot tub sweet outside space just loved this place and definitely will be coming back!
Clean and very fun! The owner clearly thought about the layout. The colors and artwork were a surprising addition. And the hot tub: what a welcome gift after a hike! James was helpful with a few questions I had.
Great hidden location if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of downtown. The host James is great at communicating and the pictures donât do any justice. There is very small town thatâs a 5 min drive.
Such a cute cottage with a wonderful yard! For me, this was the perfect place to stay. The interior was simple and all I needed. The outside had many different spots to sit, relax, read, eat, etc. The yard is sheltered and even when there was wind up high there was just a gentle breeze in the yard. A great place to unwind and relax!
Something very strange going on here. Upon arrival at the rental, we observed an individual (not the host) entering the rental as it is not locked. They quickly left when we pulled in and asked if we lived there. While bringing in our stuff, the same two individuals approached and ENTERED OUR CABIN, remaining on the property afterward. Sketchy. They spoke about how they knew the host. We immediately contacted the host. The host initially acknowledged that this situation was inappropriate and unacceptable, and stated the individuals on site had been contacting him for several months, adding to our alarm. The following day, the host completely denied to Vrbo that anyone else was on the property. Additionally, the cabin is misrepresented as it is marked as having the entire property to yourself. This is the main reason we booked. However, this is not the case as there is a yurt on the property, which the individuals said they were âtryingâ to stay in. Again, further adding to the safety concerns. The host refused to refund our stay and we had to pay to book a hotel last minute. âItâs Bolinas, California, what do you expect?â, is a direct quote from the host. I would avoid this place at all costs.
Super sweet cottage, tons of natural light and great reading nooks. Lovely to be surrounded by green nature and great outdoors! Clean, comfy, highly recommend.
The place was just what I was looking for in a solo year-end retreat. Although it was a bit hard to find (the street address doesn't match the Maps address), the owner's description of it did help. Very private and cozy - would make a good romantic getaway or writer's retreat. Great place for nature walks or stargazing far from the madding crowd.
We loved our stay here. Perfect location for exploring Point Reyes National Seashore. It is worth exploring the neighborhood too â the views of the ocean are magnificent. We didnât mind the kitchenette and adapted our meals accordingly. It is an open concept bathroom in the middle â not a problem for us. We would definitely return.
This studio is as funky and cool as the town of Bolinas. Great vibe here with lots of windows and sky lights. We loved star gazing from the bed. Just blocks away from Agate Beach and great hiking along coastal bluffs.
We first stayed here about a year ago and loved it so much we knew we wanted to come back. Sure enough, our second time here was just as magical as the first. We hope to make this trip an annual tradition. Thank you so much for sharing this peaceful, cozy, and wonderfully inviting home, James!
Out stay was perfect for the two days we were there. The cottage was very clean and the bed so comfortable we slept all night. The beach is a very short drive or a nice walk. We drove because we didnât want to walk back after sunset. We had an amazing dinner at Coastal Cafe our first night. Raw oysters and champagne are not to be missed!!
The skylights for natural light were a highlight. We also enjoyed seeing the stars from the hot tub.
The cottage was very private and the kitchen was perfect for our short stay. Nice tea kettle and coffee pot. The fridge is dorm size, but perfect for a few days. Entertainment system was perfect for unwinding after a beautiful day exploring the area.
The cottage is a litle difficult to find, but once we figured it out, easy to get back to.
The bathroom definitely lacks privacy and the toilet closet is small. The shower is quaint, but does require a large step to get in, not easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues.
Overall a great escape and start to our California get away.
