Welcome to The Après Penthouse, a modern alpine stay overlooking the Sierra Star Golf Course in Mammoth Lakes. With vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a gourmet kitchen with bar seating, it’s built for mountain mornings and fireside evenings. Two bedrooms plus a chic loft blend comfort and style. Just minutes from the slopes, it’s easy to bring the après home with you. After your stay, you’ll see why “après” is the feeling that brings you back.

The space
This 1,450 SF tri-level corner unit is designed for both gathering and retreat. The mid-level open floor plan brings everyone together with a dining area, living room, and gourmet kitchen featuring KitchenAid/ SMEG appliances and a Nespresso machine. Step onto the private deck overlooking Sierra Star Golf Course or unwind with the après shotski by the fire.

The two bedrooms (King + Queen) and a loft with a Queen, Full, and Twin comfortably sleep 8, paired with two modern bathrooms complete with fresh finishes, hair dryers, and quality toiletries. Premium linens, cozy throws, and smart features like Nest heating, Bose sound system, and high-speed WiFi make every stay elevated yet comfortable.

With space to spread out across three levels, this home is well-suited for families, couples, and groups of friends looking for a stylish alpine retreat.

Other things to note
- Onsite property manager available to quickly resolve any issues
- No smoking anywhere in the complex, indoors or outdoors
- No pets allowed per HOA rules
- Portable BBQs prohibited on decks
- Ski boots must be stored in the ski locker provided (please do not store skis or boots inside the unit)
- Shoes off inside — help protect carpets from wet, mud, and snow
- Fireplace policy: guests must provide their own firewood or starter logs (available locally at Vons); please do not use lighter fluid
- Winter travel: check road and weather conditions before arrival; chains may be required
- Trip insurance is highly encouraged due to Mammoth’s winter conditions
- Holiday stays require a 3-night minimum
- Booking requirements: Guests must be 25+ with positive reviews to book
- Heating: our Nest system and new heaters are efficient but may take time to warm up — once settled, the space stays very comfortable

This is our personal home that we’re proud to share with you — well loved, lived in, and filled with character. While we’re not a hotel and can’t promise perfection, we’ve tried to think of everything you might need for an easy, memorable stay. Our goal is simple: that you feel at home, embrace the spirit of Mammoth, and leave already dreaming about your next trip back.
