The house worked well for us. We had .4 adults and 2 kids and it was a nice fit for us. We spent time at another house with other family and it was a nice walk. Thanks for the Sharc passes.

The house is very comfortable. We love cooking and that was the best equipped house we ever stayed in. You can find everything you need for a great vacation
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for our family of 4, which included two teenage boys. We came for a ski weekend at Mt. Bachelor and the location of the property to everything was excellent including the Village, stores, restaurants, and the mountain. The house was very comfortable to relax in after long days skiing and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our long days on the slopes. We highly recommend visiting this property!
My family and I had a blast renting Filbert 15 in Sun River. The house was a good size for 4 adults and 2 kids. The house was furnished nicely and looks like a great sun or ski get away. Hot tub made the rare August cold front feel nice. Kiddos loved the SHARC and the house comes with 8 passes. Aside from the downstairs carpets being stained and looking dirty the house was very clean and made for a great stay in Sun River.
Overall the house is fairly comfortable and has easy access to Sunriver amenities.
That being said, the home does need some attention..
- Listing claims home has "Central A/C" but the upstairs has little-to-no airflow, making it quiet uncomfortable. To add insult to injury, only one of the two working windows upstairs has a screen so it can be utilized without the concern of mosquitoes coming in.
- Both the upstairs and downstairs toilets have the tendency to run, unless the handles are "jiggled".
- The clock in the living room plays a chime every hour, even at night - waking our kids up.
- The TV in the living room supposedly has cable, but none of the "inputs" connect leaving us to use our own streaming subscriptions (still, we would have enjoyed watching the local news while we were there).
- There was no laundry detergent (not sure if this has been a perk in the previous SR houses that we've rented??)
- The "hot element" light on the stove never turns off, causing some confusion on whether it's a hot stove or not.
- As others have mentioned, the carpet is stained and could use some love.
- Ping pong table is a fun additional but the next is torn and taped back together, causing it to barely stand up.
- No BBQ brush could be found and it would've been nice to be able to clean the grill prior to (and after) use.
- Having a king size bed is nice but the mattress definitely needs to be replaced. Also, the whole bed shakes when someone rolls over, waking partners.
Cute house but not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival
I was disappointed to find the bathrooms not thoroughly clean upon arrival. The upstairs bathroom had hair on the toilet and on the floor. There was even hair in the drain of the bathtub. The downstairs toilet had a lot of staining on the underside of the toilet lid. You can tell the toilets are old but toilet lids can be easily replaced. I also noticed a hole in the upstairs bathroom door. The ottoman in the LR is also badly stained. Some small maintenance issues that would go along way in how the place is represented. The stove top was also not cleaned well upon arrival. I did not go around looking to evaluate the place. These were just obvious things that were overlooked.
Overall, the house is cute. Itâs just in need of a little attention. The picture shown of the living room is attractive and makes the house appear open and spacious.. But in fact, the kitchen/dining area is separated from the living room by the stairs, which I found awkward when walking between the two rooms. Iâve never stayed in a house where I had to constantly walk around a flight of stairs. If the house was large enough, this probably wouldnât be an issue.
On the bright side, the house was well stocked with kitchen items and the hot tub was a nice comfort after a day of skiing.
The sheets in the primary bedroom were literally falling apart - huge chunks of fabric pills balled up under us as we laid in the bed, sticking to our nightclothes and hair and making the bed really uncomfortable. There were no extra sheets so we ended up sleeping on top of the comforter the first night. The next morning we emailed the property manager and they dropped off fresh sheets, which were much better, but still scratchy (40% polyester). The bath towels were also really thin and worn out. The coffee maker was broken, and the kitchen pans were very scratched up and did not clean well. Other than these issues, the house was comfortable for our stay. Hot tub worked well.
FAntastic. We had a great time and had everything we needed. The bikes were nice and ping pong was fun. The tv was easy to use. The kitchen was nice. We loved the hot tub. Beds were super comfy. Thank you!
This was a great place for my family while we spent a week in Sunriver! The SHARQ passes that came with the house were awesome! Used them almost everyday. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the things we needed. The carpet was pretty stained that was really the only negative thing I could stay about this property.
The description was on point. The house is in good condition and served the purpose of our vacation.
Kitchen was fully equipped (it could used better kitchen tools), bathrooms were well stocked as well as the laundry room.
The bedrooms were as described and had extra pillows and blankets.
The cleanliness of the house wasnât to our expectations. The carpets need more care and the kitchen needs better cleaning.
Brought my daughters and their families with me to Sunriver to celebrate my retirement. There was more to do in Sunriver and Bend than we had time for. Wish we had stayed longer. The house was very comfortable for the six of us; the beds, as well! Bikes, ping pong, hot tub, Munch and Music, SHARC, Fort Rock Park, the lava caves, and floating the Deschutes filled our days. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home.
This house was perfect for us! I loved the beds were comfortable, a few houses Iâve stayed at had uncomfortable beds so I was very satisfied with that! The house was cozy and we enjoyed it. Thank you
