Good weekend in the Great Smoky Mountains

it was just like the online ad. Only issue was some of the dishes were dirty, not sure if the dishwasher cleans, we hand washed everything.

Visited family. Perfect location to meet. Home overall was good. I think more towels and a set of extra towels would have been better but the office was very helpful. There is a washer and dryer but being on vacation who wants to do laundry. The porch needs a good sweeping

Happy Hollow Cabin

We enjoyed our stay here so much! We stayed here for a family vacation, there were 12 of us and there was plenty of room for everybody to have a comfortable stay. The cabin was clean, well stocked, beautiful, and in a great location. Everything we wanted to do was just a short drive away and the views were beautiful! Would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation

Its in a great location with access to a public pool just down the road. It has all the amenities needed for a short or long stay. There are plenty of bedrooms for sleeping. Its a little crowded in the kitchen for the 17 people we had. There are plenty of places to sit & eat on the deck for a large group. The whole place needs a deep cleaning. Property management was responsive and made our stay seamless.

Nice place

Loved they allow pets. We didn't bring pets, though. There are sooo many pots and pans and little food storage. The pool table is missing a ball, the felt is torn, but the kids had fun anyway. Overall we had a great time. Loved the deck, it was warm enough to go out every day.

Very nice cabin. Very roomy for everyone and very clean. Would recommend to families of all ages. There were 15 of us and we all had plenty of space. Nothing lacking in the kitchen. Plenty of appliances and dishes etc. we all had a great time.

Great cabin. Older but it was pretty clean. Checkin was easy. Location was great. Needs a few general repairs but other than that it was good. The 4 on the stove wouldnt work. One of the beds needed repaired and 2 of the toilets on the main floor wouldnt flush.

Nice place overall

It was a nice size cabin. We didn’t have enough dish towels or dish soap for the dishwasher. The only hot water we had was on the main floor and I contacted the property manager but no one responded.

It was in a beautiful location and we even observed some bears from the top deck as they walked through the woods. The kitchen is very well stocked, the bedrooms are huge, and the 2 wrap around decks with tons of seating was very nice. Our favorite part was for sure the private dog park! Our dogs loved it and we loved the safety it offered!

October 2021 Stay

I love this house! My only complaint is the air unit. They have it fixed to where you can’t change the air. It gets hot down stairs and you can’t change air. Love the dog lot! We will recommend this house to our friends and family 💖

Great place with a few surprises

This was a great property I love the wraparound porch and it was nice and big to fit adults and children and pets. All the dishes and seating you could ask for in many pull out beds for sleeping. The fire pit and hot tub were wonderful. We especially enjoyed playing games on the back porch of the main floor. A few of the things that need attention is not enough supply of paper towels, toilet paper. No dish towels or towels for cleaning the kitchen area. Driveway a little rough due to it's starting to erode.

Great location, but lacking cleanliness

This house gave our four families (13 people) plenty of space to enjoy ourselves especially with the outside seating and two decks. The kids enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores one night and the hot tub. The location was great and the pool down the road was a nice touch. We had three SUVs and the parking was great. However, the house was quite dirty and dusty upon our arrival. The main floor bathroom toilet was broken, but it was quickly fixed after an email was sent on a Saturday morning. Also, we didn’t expect to see so many spiders inside the house on all three floors. With 13 people including a few toddlers in diapers, trash became an issue with the small bins we were given and more bins would have been nice instead of driving to dump our trash. Attention to cleanliness and making more space available for trash would give this house five star ratings.

The property is beautiful! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, bakeware, lots of plates, silverware, mugs and glasses. The ice maker was fabulous!! The kitchen was great for making meals and the huge dinning room table was fantastic for meals and playing board games. The outdoor grill could use some new burners, but it works for hamburgers and hot dogs. With 3 and 1/2 baths, there were plenty for everyone to get ready in the morning. A few used the hot tub, said it was nice! The views from the cabin were great - we could see a mountain - it would be nice to trim some of the limbs for a better view. The outdoor space - loved the wrap around porch on the top and bottom levels. The fire pit had lots of seating and was a good place to gather. Bring bug spray - with the rainey weather, it was humid so mosquitoes were in abundance. Be aware, at night the tree frogs were very loud, but you couldn't hear much unless you were outside. The area was good, spaced out in-between Gaitlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. It could use a deep cleaning (dust on the bear on the wall, limescale build up around the bathroom fauset) but I would stay here again.

Lots of room, Great Views, very nice home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My 4 siblings and some extended family stayed at this property Mid July 2024 for a family reunion, 10 people total. With 3 1/2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms and extra pull-out couches, we had plenty of room to be comfortable. The kitchen had lots of pots and pans, plates, cups, cutlery, and an amazing ice machine. That was great! All of the big appliances worked, dishwasher was great, they had 3 coffee machines, but one was broken. We let the management know, and they offered to bring another over. The WIFI worked great. The inside of the home was satisfactorily clean, but it could use a deep cleaning. The taxidermy bear high up on the wall in the living room was very dusty. We enjoyed the large dining table for meals and playing board games. The fire pit was used for making smores, but we had a lot of rain that week, so we were only able to use it once. We used the grill on the deck - it worked, but could use some deep cleaning and new burners and grills. Some of the group used the hot tub and said it was great! We had a great time! I loved the property location since it was central to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. However, when heading to activities in any of those cities, the traffic is heavy - I'd leave at least 30 minutes earlier to any activity. There is a mountain Rail coaster just 15 minutes down the road, Tuckaleechee Caverns are a short distance away and worth the trip - $25 per person about a 90 min tour. There are a few restaurants down the road that are worth the trip too. Driving thru the smokey mountains was an experience like non other. Beautiful scenery. I enjoyed the stay immensely and would rent this cabin again if the opportunity came up.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location and layout of the house. Would definitely recommend if you have a pet, but plumbing issues happened our third night in. Was taken care of promptly, but caused us to have to do a lot of clean up in the lower bathroom. Kitchen and living area needs a good deep cleaning. There was food residue on island drawers and baseboards. We had to purchase good brooms and mops to clean the place.

July 2023 Stay

Just as the others said, this house ( it's not a cabin), needs a deep cleaning & the deck outside could also use a simple sweep/blow off & the deck tables need to be replaced asap, as they are filthy with tree sap stains & sticky. On the positive, the 5 king sized beds were all very decent mattresses & the linens were clean. Bottom line is this house COULD be great with some simple basic housekeeping & someone who actually cares about the overall maintenance & appearance!

By far the dirtiest, nastiest cabin I have ever experienced. Pure filth. Wouldn't recommend.

The size/location of cabin was perfect. However, the experience was completely affected by the filth of the cabin. I don't think the cabin had been cleaned correctly and thoroughly in quite SOME time. Worst experience and not a lot we could do as a family of 10, we were stuck. I have at least 50 photos of nasty floors, walls, table/chairs, hot tub, etc. Extremely disappointed. Whomever you hire to clean is clearly lacking skills. In this day, you'd think clean and sanitary would be priority but obviously not for your company. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay. We had diapers in trash, we didn't have anyone in diapers, food on the walls, cabinets, floors and those floors hadn't been swept or mopped for what would appear to be months. Clearly when you are charging the price you are-which I do not mind paying IF it is a great experience, cleanliness should be a very high standard. I would like to be refunded my cleaning fees at a MINIMUM. I would also like to send photos, please let me know where I need to send these. Thank you.

Good experience

It was nice to have the ramp up to the main level. Beds were great. Overall the property was nice. The shower in the main bathroom needs grab bars not just the seat although that was great. The biggest problem was no hot water and once that was taken care of we got hot and cold water alternating in all showers. There were 2 coffee pots but one didn't work. The oven and burners did not heat up properly. The kitchen was well stocked otherwise.

Family vacation

Socks were found left behind from previous tenants in 2 different rooms. Mold in the basement bathroom. Showers went from hot to cold often. Cobwebs on most outside furniture. We had to call about ants and they were quick to respond and sent out pest patrol. Beds were comfortable.

Our First Family Reunion

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, as head of our family and joint instigator (with my wife) of the reunion I found the experience everything that I expected. We loved the 'cabin' because is was well located and quite large enough for 17 individuals (plus 3 dogs). Considering the number of adults and children, for the most part we had all the room we needed. One exception was the kitchen. It was pretty crowded during meal prep. But we managed to work around one another.One significand need for solving a water leak in the lower floor was solved quickly.I think we would all do it again!
