The cool white interior of this penthouse apartment is highlighted with a playful bold black detailing. Offset by warm wooden floors and the sun splashed terracotta terrace walls and floors, the loft's ultramodern design, with its large, floating kitchen island in the center of the space, finds its contrast in the magnificence of the city scape and the surrounding warm colors.
Panoramic windows and its 3 terraces expand the sense of space and provide the full splendor of Barcelona with gracious 360Âș views of the city.
The terraces have a combination of lounge & dining furniture, and the rooftop terrace features sun loungers and an outdoor rain shower.
They are are perfect for children to play outdoors or for the family to lunch al fresco.
This 80 sq meter (861 sq feet) penthouse, located on the 8th floor, has two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms equipped with a rain shower.
Cleverly designed with adaptability as a focal point, grand sliding walls enable one of the bedrooms to be easily transformed to a discreet space or opened to blend in with the general lounge/dining area.

Great location. Extremely well appointed. Enjoyable outside area.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was the same as the photos. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment was very well appointed. The information provided for the area amenities and attractions could be better. Would highly recommend this apartment and would certainly consider renting again.

Fantastic experience in a lively area of the city

We had a fantastic experience staying at this apartment Urgell. The place was immaculately clean when we arrived, and was the perfect comfortable spot to call home during our 6 night stay in Barcelona. The contact was professional and quick to respond when we had a question about how to use an appliance. The beds are very comfortable, linens were soft and clean and bathrooms were plenty of space for our group of 4. The views from the multiple outdoor terraces were incredible and the perfect spot for breakfast in the sun or sunset drinks overlooking the city. We were able to walk to lots of places, bars/restaurants/landmarks and museums and the Metro stop was very close making getting around the city quick and easy. We had a great time, would definitely recommend this spot to anyone else looking to stay in Barcelona.

A week on top of the city!

The photos do not do justice to this unit. The views are breathtaking and we decided to stay in and relax with out 5 year old more often than we expected. It was the perfect spot for a small family with a young child to headquarter for a week of exploring lively and lovely Barcelona. The small charming elevator being a highlight for our daughter, the nearby and recently refurbished St. Antoni market and the multiple terraces with sweeping views being a highlight for us. We hope to return! We only wish the little bath/pool had been operational. Maybe next time!

Exquisite!

We stayed at this stunning penthouse with our 18 year old daughter for 9 nights at the end of April/beginning of May. The interior lived up to and even exceeded expectations from the photos. The view of Mont Juic from the large windows was beautiful! The penthouse had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The mattresses were especially comfortable, towels were luxurious and the lighting options were plentiful. We made use of the terraces and enjoyed the spectacular views. It was very conveniently located, close to many wonderful eateries and was a good base for daily sightseeing. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. Although the charming elevator was readily available, we preferred to challenge ourselves with daily stair use - it helped justify our indulgence in the delicious Catalan food and drink! The maps and information provided (especially about restaurants) were very helpful. Grocery stores were very conveniently located around the corner. The kitchen was well equipped. We would have liked to compost our food waste so a receptacle for that and clearer instructions about recycling practices is something to consider including in the handbook provided. The Aerobus stop is very conveniently located for both arrival and departure. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.
