Great place and great people because they asked us if there was anything else we needed and we told them it would be nice to have a full length mirror and in a short time we had a full length mirror!! Disappointed- amenities not as listed- confusing when comparing l

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental stated in amenities beach service. Beach service was not included. Office said it must say free beach service. Searching other listing beach service was not listed in amenities. Confusing...this was my my 5th time staying here but will be looking for a new place to stay in destin. Disappointed.

Great vacation!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a nice rental for my father who came for my wedding. It was the perfect size and nicely decorated. The only issue with the studios in this area is the smell of sewer which is nearby at the end of this section. Other than that, I recommend this condo. Also, check in was a bit of a fiasco with a particular staff member. Took us about 30 minutes for what should have been a very simple task as we added two more nights.

Highly recommend

Had a great stay! Place was super clean and conveniently located near literally everything. Private beach access, shopping, restaurants, laundry room, pool, etc. Was hard to get up and down three small flights of stairs with a toddler but would deff not let that prevent us from going back!

Perfect for a weekly getaway

Property was accommodatingly close to the beach. The condo was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I’d suggest maybe adding a rolling cooler to stay with the property for those of us flying in. Aside from that everything was perfect!

Delightful in Destin!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I must admit, I was a bit concerned before we got there. I had read some questionable reviews about this place. The minute we walked in the door, all of my reservations about the place disappeared. This was the perfect little place for my husband and me. It had just enough space and the porch area was well utilized. There were absolutely no smell issues coming from the treatment area down the road. The newly done bathroom is lovely too. The furniture is well loved but still in very good condition and I loved the beachy decor. We liked it so much that we will definitely be back.

The only feedback I would provide is although the unit was empty the day before arrival we were unable to check in early and there's an odor near the complex entrance when walking to beach that is strong.

Sandpiper Cove is "okay" for the money

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo itself was quite nice...lots of beachy decor and equipped with our needs for a 2 week stay. There are a few broken items in the condo: light switch above kitchen table, knob on white cabinet door is missing, hot/cold are opposite in the bathroom vanity, the closet shelving is broken and there's hardly adequate lighting of the interior condo during evening hours. It is located right on Gulf Shore drive which is very noisy - we were awoken all hours of the night by loud vehicles...we are not light sleepers. Also, the front desk could have done a better job of explaining to guests what is available to do on the property, where to get linens, etc...we had to learn from other guests we spoke to on the property. We were very rushed during the check-in process (we were the only guests in the office). Maintenance was called once and arrived promptly...they were friendly and professional. The cleaning of the condo prior to our arrival could have been better - the floor should have been mopped and kitchen countertops wiped down.

The proximity to the beach and price were our main decision factors for choosing Sand Piper. The kitchen was newly renovated, but the bathroom could use some love. We really appreciated the balcony and the security guard on duty 24/7. All staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly.

Great time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Orig thought it was a one bedroom with washer/dryer but it’s actually a studio, no washer/dryer. I may have been confused with looking at several? All in all, it had cute decor, felt clean, main bed was comfortable but Sofa bed is a hard sofa bed but worked out fine for our kids. Kitchen had everything we needed except paper towels and seasonings so don’t forget to pu at store. Studio was overall really clean with some wear and tear in bathroom and the drop down/step down into shower/tub was awkward but we managed. All in all a cute little studio. With 4 people it’s small but we spent most of our time on the beach and out at dinner time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was as described. Perfect location that is close to the beach and restaurants. The kitchen was properly stocked with the basics to make meals. The couches and chairs upholstery were quite dirty & due to that we didn't even use them. The shower is sunk in the floor and holds water in the corners due to the tub being un-level (kinda gross). The rear railing was coming loose and was 2 inches away from the main structure. The front railing had multiple loose boards, both of these were safety concerns for us with a young child and this condo being on the 2nd story. I would recommend this property just not this condo.
