Booked a trip for our daughters 3rd bday with family and dog. Specifically booked condos near other family too. Our condo was hot as soon as we entered (81 degrees, was set at 71). I didn’t think anything of it as first, thinking maybe it just took a while to cool down. Within 30 minutes of us staying there (checked in at 4:30 or so) I attempted to call Maintenance phone number (had to leave a message, only open Mon-Fri). Front office was closed, so we called the guard shack and was told someone was already coming out for another guest in another condo. So we stay at our condo and a maintenance person from sandpiper comes to our condo says it’s frozen and would see “what they want to do.” So our condo reaches 83 degrees we were miserable the whole night. My elderly parents, dog, and child were so uncomfortable. My husband and I went to the front desk the next day at around 8:30-9. They said no one with Maintenance had even reported the issue. Apparently sandpiper staff can see what temp condo is at front desk. So they see it’s 80 degrees and they said they would call the ac company (owner of condo to see when ac is fixed last too). Let me mention they told me no one had stayed at this condo since Sept 5 (We checked in on Sept 18). Called office a few times to see if ac company was coming soon m. So we showed up at the front office later that day and requested a new condo. I did not want to be stuck with no available condo and the office closed. The front desk (Cree) was very helpful, I asked about a refund. She was talking to the manager (Shannon) in the back. We could over hear Shannon telling her that they would not give us a full refund and the contract says things like this. I’m sorry, but the ac was broken and no guest has been there since Sept 5, does no one do a pre check?! Shannon refused to speak with us said she was “busy.” Switched condos, only got 20% refund first night (supposed to get security de
