Amazing property

Katie’s place was the perfect beach getaway - easily one of the best properties we’ve stayed at. The house was extremely clean and fully stocked for all of your cooking needs. The backyard was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better setup with the pool and hot tub. Looking forward to coming back again next year!

Excellent stay!

Check in was a breeze! When we arrived, everyone was clean and neat, and there were plenty of towels (both bathroom and beach/pool). The pool was perfect temperature and clean, and Kathryn was quick in responding when we had questions! Would highly recommend staying here!

Definitely can't wait for a return visit!

This lovely house has absolutely everything one needs while traveling, even with family. And it is just a 2-3 block walk away from beach and the host has bicycles on site! The back yard and pool are so much bigger than the pictures show and there is an amazing, huge adjustable umbrella that goes over half the pool when used. We ate on the screened in deck almost every night and cooked full family meals in the kitchen. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The host was a great communicator and very accommodating. We loved our stay!

House was beautiful. Had every convenience you could think imagine. Plenty of towels, even soft robes provided! If you forget little things - they probably have you covered. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. Huge umbrella for shade coverage. I loved the sling chair on the back deck. The screened in deck was great for meals. Several beaches close by. Great vacation!

Amazing

Kathryn is the perfect host. She has everything you could want in a vacation home. The kitchen is amazingly stocked from the spices to the chilled glasses in the freezer. Fuzzy robes and sound machines in the bedrooms, not to mention the abundance of towels. The home is beautiful and welcoming. The outdoor spaces are sublime. A screened in porch with herbs for your cooking needs. A sun deck that leads to the grill, gorgeous pool and hot tub. I cannot leave out the best pool floats. We had so much fun. For the beach, sand toys, a shibumi and a beach buggy to take it all to the ocean. I am so impressed with the attention to detail in every aspect. I will recommend to everyone & most definitely be returning. Thank you for such a wonderful time! Cheers!!

Hands down the best VRBO that I’ve ever rented. The house was clean. Everything you could dream of needing for the week. Even down to condiments in the refrigerator. Host was quick to respond and update. Everything was top notch. Location is perfect. Right in the middle of everything but yet private and quiet. The pool and back yard is where we spent most of our time. The screened-in porch is a nice touch. The outside shower made it quick to clean up from the ocean. 10/10 if we could rate it. After a 7 day stay.. you may not know what every light switch in the house does. But it is a fun little game to play during the week

The best rental we have ever stayed at!!!

When I found this home it sounded too good to be true but I was more than satisfied. The backyard is a vacation in itself with the pool and hot tub and lovely landscaping. The screened in porch was used daily and is perfect to sit and relax. When Katie says this place is stocked she means it is stopped with everything you could possibly need for a vacation at the beach, wonderful pots and pans towels, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and just about every space you could think of for the kitchen, I was completely amazed, and that’s not to mention the beach chairs that was made available for us I cannot express how wonderful and attentive the hostess was for our entire trip. Did I mention dog friendly?? Cute little touches let you know that your fur babies are welcomed to the bin of dog toys on the porch to the waste pickup bags and can. Our babies enjoyed their time as much as we did ours. Just blocks away from the beach too. On a side note Oak Island has very accessible beaches for the handicapped. We cannot say thank you enough and look forward to staying again!!!

Best stay EVER!! Literal bliss! Wonderful!!

From the salt water heated pool, to the amazing and clean jacuzzi, the outdoor heated shower after the beach (which is so close!!) This property has it ALL. Beautiful decor, every single thing you could need to have an amazing beach trip. SUPER clean, pet friendly. This owner has thought of everything to make your stay perfect! Well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. Owner is so kind and caring as well!! Plush robes, tons of clean towels, extra blankets, super fast washer/dryer. Clean grill, amazing and gorgeous back yard space. We will be back and are so thankful for the peaceful, beautiful and amazing trip we had!!! Thank you!! FANTASTIC and affordable!! 1 min drive to shops/food/beach. Bose speakers to enjoy while in pool, neat lights in pool/jacuzzi, nice lounging chairs outside, spacious interior, working TVs and remotes for everything, detailed instructions on everything you might have questions on in the home!! We were truly blown away by the amount of care and thought put into this space! A Thank you!!!

We lived in the Raleigh area for 30+ years and relocated to this area 3 years ago after retiring. We knew we wanted to live near the coast and found the perfect relaxing retirement home on Oak Island. We enjoy caring for our home and yard, swimming, and spending time on the beach with our family, friends, and dogs, Mia, Willow, and Piper.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love Tranquil Harbor because it is a quiet family neighborhood centrally located on the Island. You can walk, bike, or drive a golf cart to the beach, the intercoastal waterway, dining, shopping. Its a great neighborhood for dog walking too! Because it is centrally located, it is easy to access both the Swain Cut Bridge and the Barbee Bridge making it easy to get to other Brunswick County Beaches, Southport and Wilmington.
