Fabulous Stay!!!

Fabulous stay in a gorgeous home!!!! Super clean and super comfortable lodging. The property is beautiful and so is the home. Perfect location, close to everything!!! Also, fast and great communication with property manager. 5!!!!! We will definitely stay here again!

Just what I needed

This worked perfect for what I needed, a clean, comfortable, inexpensive place to sleep near my event. Ten minutes from downtown Punta Gorda and minutes to lots of amenities. Host was very responsive.

Long Weekend

My husband and I picked this property based on the price and reviews. We had no trouble finding the house. It took us a minute to figure out the key pad, but we got it figured out. The suite was nice and clean. Communication was good. The location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed the privacy and security we felt at this accommodation, as well as how beautiful it is and the relaxing jacuzzi tub and comfortable double mattress. On the other hand, we had wished that the kitchen were better stocked with utensils, dishes and measuring cups/spoons and clean sheets. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would use this accommodation again.

Great value

Was much bigger than expected. Quiet safe neighborhood easy to get to. Very responsive to questions such as how to enter and how to turn off alarm. A couple improvements would be a hair dryer, remotes for the TV’s, had one in bedroom, but not the others. We didn’t cook, but I did not really see any pans had we wanted to.

This property is creepy. There are several locked doors throughout the unit. I could see lights on the other side of these doors. I do not know if they were also locked from the other side, as there is another unit attached to this one. Bedside lamps were not plugged in (no available outlets), and when I asked the host about it, he said he did not know why they were not working. The box springs/mattresses were stained and gross and the bedding was also. I photographed bugs (cockroach etc.). There was a strong chemical smell (pesticides and/or rodent repellent?) and it was NOT cleaning supply smells. There were air fresheners hidden under furniture and behind curtains throughout the unit. The fire alarm went off at 11:44 PM BOTH nights. It had an error code dated back to July 2024. I left the second night as the alarm was going off. I have photos and videos regarding all my complaints. I am extremely upset and am having a difficult time reaching someone regarding receiving a refund.

Baby Spiders

First of all the place is as described if not better when it comes to the amount of space. It was clean on appearance. Unfortunately when we went to get in the bed the sheets did smell like they were left in the laundry wet too long and maybe not dried all the way. We did have two fresh Bath towels but no washcloths or any hand towels. Beware of coffee pot! We had read the reviews prior about having no coffee there so we made sure to stop and get some ground coffee for the coffee pot and creamer (we love our morning coffee). The first morning there and looking forward to our coffee and relaxing I opened the back of the coffee maker to add the water and holy crap!!!BABY SPIDERS came crawling out at high speed! We also had an incident with getting a hold of the host when it seemed the digital lock battery might have failed or was reset somehow and honestly don’t know if it was operator fail or the lock itself. However it was an hour plus and having to call VRBO to get a response from host to be able to get back in. Mind you our blind dog was stuck inside.I am giving this 4 stars as most people would probably give less but I feel that spiders can’t be helped and the failed lock is also out of owners control. Response time could have been a little faster and just make sure you have fresh smelling linens.

Nice

The house was very clean and the host was extremely kind. As stated in the description, we had 1 bedroom, 1bathroom, the kitchen, living room and dining room. It was a lot of space especially for the price. When I booked it, I didn't realize the it was part of someone's home and someone lives in the other section of the house. It didn't matter, though because we never saw or heard anyone the entire time we were there.
