Absolutely stunning best describes home on the Nubble in York Beach. The first floor features a bedroom and the entry way. The second floor is where you find the open concept kitchen, living room, dining room. Beautiful hardwood floors, upscale kitchen, ocean views and balcony...what could be better? It's the perfect spot to enjoy your family and friends while relaxing during your seaside vacation! The whole house is comfortable with central AC, has WiFi and 2 flat-screen TVs.

House was very nice in great location in walking distance to Nubble Lighthouse and ice cream. Door wouldn’t close all the way in master bathroom and bathrooms were small. We also had an issue getting the ac to work consistently. But, having two kitchens was great. And, there was plenty of room for our family to spread out. Overall very nice house.

Great Getaway

This property was a great place for our family vacation. Location was perfect. The set up of the home was ideal for two families. Having two kitchen and living areas was perfect. Sleeping arrangements were overall very well done. The outside deck was awesome. Fire pit area was perfect. Check in was easy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Love the cabin and the comfort/location. Cannot beat it for the area and the number of guests comfortably staying.

Great Place to Stay

Crowes Cottages were a perfect place to stay in York. My family and I enjoyed the convenience of proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Ok

Nice spot, easy walk to beach, a little rougher than I expected, exposed nails, super small bathroom with kind of a rough shower and wobbly toilet. Parking situation would be easier if the spots were marked. Not everyone reads the helpful email with detailed map. I didn’t feel comfortable asking my neighbor to move his car. A bit expensive for what we experienced but overall nice.

Beach life

Well equipped. Cottage was clean. Location, location, location. All neighbors were very nice. Neighborhood was quiet. Dog smell when first entering. Toilet flange bolt was broken. Toilet moving around. Bathroom floor very mushy. BBQ grill was never cleaned out after previous use. We never used it. Common grounds were abit unkept and grown in. Mosquito issues in the evening were terrible 😔

Great beach spot

Really nice location close to Short Sands and Long Sands beach. Outdoor shower was a delight. We got lucky on weather and enjoyed the on-site outdoor space most days during our stay. Bedrooms are small, but met our need for a separate space for a napping toddler. Easy check in and check out.

Anyone looking for a nice, quaint, clean, friendly location in York should check out Crowes Cottages. Just lovely place and time.

Our Stay

We enjoyed the location of the cottage. It was easy to find the places we wanted to visit. The only complaint I would have is that the refrigerator and the toilet were noisy. About every 15 minutes they would make noises. But the cottage is so tiny (which I liked!) the noises seemed very loud. Other than that I would recommend staying here.

Not quite what I expected.

Cottage is very basic. Interior doors do not close properly, and have to be hooked to hold them shut most of the way. One hook was missing. In the tiny bathroom, the toilet faces the door, and my knees hit the door when I sat! Horrible plastic padded toilet seat. Sheets and towels should be included in rent. The location is great, short walk to beach and town. I would go back only if another cottage has a better bathroom.

Wonderful vacation

Everything went very smoothly, the check in process was easy, communication with the owner was great, and I met some lovely people. I would love to come again next year but I would like a little bigger unit, the one I had only slept five with no pull out couch. My family came and went and took turns so they were not all here for the week. it was a great location and the unit was fully stocked so I needed nothing. It was great.

Nice family vacation

A very nice spot for a casual family vacation. Happy with the cabin and convenient to the town and beaches. Space was a little tight for myself and two older teenagers, but I feel like the pictures and description gave me fair warning that it was a small cabin. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean.

Cleaning crew should be fired

I can't believe there was a charge for cleaning, because it certainly wasn't clean when we arrived! The furniture is very stained. We had to sweep and wash the floors, wipe down table and counters and refrigerator, as they had not been wiped down. We had to clean the air conditioner filter and fans because they were a mess. On the bright side, we had good weather and just a short walk to the beach. We also had very nice neighbors in all the cottages around us. The cottage could be adorable with some TLC and a good cleaning crew.

Great family vacation

I rented several cabins for my family for the long weekend and had a great time!! The cabins are cute, small, and rustic with everything you need for a beach vacation. The location is perfect, it took 3 minutes to walk to Short Sands. The Property manager and owner were quick to respond to emails/texts. I highly recommend these cabins. My only complaint is that a couple of the pull out sofas in the cabins really need to be replaced. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Will definitely be back!!

Small cottage near Nubble Lighthouse

Very small, rustic cottage close to Nubble lighthouse. Not very clean and wind blew through the walls and door. Had a small baseboard heater in both bedrooms. Bath is so small the door hits the stool. Shower is very small. I would not stay here again.

Great spot near the beach

The cute cottage was good for our family of 3. We were walking distance from the beach and the zoo. I liked that there were cleaning supplies and soap made available. The only negative is the size of the bathroom. I feel like the sizes of the rooms could have be made smaller to make the bathroom a little bigger.
