Summary:
The Cahill is a classically, beautiful 7 bedroom, 3 bath, oceanfront cottage overlooking the short sands bay. Relax and enjoy the ocean view on the large wrap-around porch and watch the boats go by. You are an easy walk to both the Nubble Lighthouse, Short Sands Beach and the busy downtown area.
The Space:
The Cahill features a master bedroom on the first floor complete with attached bathroom. There are two living rooms, both surrounded in glass with a picture perfect view of the sea, both have electric/gas fireplaces. One living room has a bar. The kitchen is spacious, modern and complete with all the amenities you could want. The dining room includes a long dining table with seating for 8 and another table that seats 4. In the kitchen, there is a kitchen island that seats 4 and a high top table that seats 2. The remaining 6 bedrooms are on the second floor divided by two separate wings. Washer/dryer, cable, wifi, yard space, bbq area with an outside dining table, and parking for four cars is included.
Coastal breezes, the sights of soaring ocean gulls, sounds of gentle waves on the rocks. Explore and experience the Cahill. We offer our guests comfortable, coastal style accommodations. We are a favorite York Beach destination.
We book the Cahill on a weekly basis in the summer season, from Sunday to Sunday. During the remainder of the year, there is a 3 day minimum stay required. Self check-in and check-out. Bed sizes are 2 kings, 1 queen, 3 doubles and 2 twins.
The Neighborhood:
Ocean front community with a beautiful view of Short Sands Beach. You can walk to York Sands center for restaurants, fun and shopping!
Getting Around:
Guests can walk, bike, take the trolley, Uber/Lyft or ride in their cars. Downtown and at the town beaches there is plenty of parking.
Other Things to Note:
The Cahill is booked on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday during the summer season. During the off season you may reserve any time but we do have a three-day minimum.
Linens and towels are included.
