Electricity was out for 9am to 5 pm on one day. Front door lock was broken. Management did arrive within 1/2 hour to fix. Was very good location for our dogs as there is direct access to space off living room to let dogs out.
Property management 10 out of 10. They were very helpful and the unit was very clean. A few things about the property the owner needs to address. The living room windows donât have any screens on them. This is a pet friendly unit so thatâs a bust. The garbage disposal doesnât work, one window in the master bedroom doesnât open at all. One window in the guest bedroom doesnât close all the way and comes off the track. The toilet seats in both restrooms seem to be too small for the toilets. They also periodically kept running and the bowl wasnât filling. Lastly this being a pet friendly unit there wasnât a vacuum or a broom. The management co promptly brought us a broom which was nice it just didnât help in the way of vacuuming up dog hair.
Not the best experience. First of all, blind to slider on patio broke when I tried to raise it. THere was no heater or AC.All the thermostats say "Connect to Wifi" and could not be used. Since there was no AC or heating, I had to keep windows and slider open. Unit upstairs had two families with LOTS of children screaming running up and down. Our downstairs unit sounded like it was below a football stadium.
Pretty location and very comfortable condo for us and the dog. Great private end unit. The short walk to the hot tub, fire pit, and bbq area was an added bonus. The kitchen had nice appliances and cookware and was well stocked with plenty of plates, utensils, etc. (FYI- It has a regular coffee maker, not a Keurig)
The condo was good overall. There are a few things to fix around the condo; like the weatherstripping around the front door, the broken blinds at the slider. But the area was great. Everything else in the condo was very comfortable, and the dog loved the area; especially with the golf course, not open yet.
We had a great stay at this condo! We were on the first floor and the space was bigger than we anticipated. The showers were great and the view of the gold course was very nice as well.
In for Labor Day weekend. Great easy location. Some tweaks needed⊠hard mattresses, not enough directions on thermostats or how to work the TV but we figâd out how to log into our Direct TV. LOUD upstairs with 2 families of little (5 and under) kids running the hallways late at night early in the morning.
We had a wonderful stay. We loved the location of the cabin among the pine trees. There is beautiful area for walks around the neighborhood. We saw deers a couple of times walking on the nearby golf course. The cabin is a little out dated but has everything we needed. The description was accurate. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation in the beautiful, quiet location.
Loved the layout of the condo and how it is a 1-story and provides under ground parking not too far away from the unit. Great views and super fast internet. Water for the shower heated up quickly and has good pressure. Would definitely stay again!
We loved the condo, it was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Loved the trundle under the bunk bed that allowed all 3 kids to share a room. The only complaint is that the common hot tub was not usable (not heated and hadnât been cleaned in a long time).
Great location on the golf course near Mammoth Lakes town.
The unit is a two bedroom on the ground level, there is another unit directly above. There is new construction (June 2022) occurring right outside the bedroom and family room windows. The foldout in the family room should have been replaced years ago. The TV's also need to be updated as we could not connect a HDMI to connect our Roku. The kitchen was stocked to our satisfaction and the secure covered garage is a bonus with two spaces. We saw deer 3 feet from our patio and grilled our dinners a few times on a grill close to the unit. Great water pressure in the shower.
some suggestions: (1) the carpet needs to be replaced especially this property hosts dog.
(2) quite a few chipped dishes, bowls, plants and trash cans. Those should be tossed.
(3) when the outdoor sprinklers go off, there is a loud scratchy sound inside. It should be fixed.
(4) there is a construction going on at the moment next to this property.
We visited in the Fall for a week of fishing and relaxing. This condo fit the bill perfectly. The views out windows are spectacular. The condo was very comfortable and cozy. The secure underground parking was a nice feature. Check in was easy, there was plenty of everything we needed in the condo, the unit was in good condition and everything worked. It was easy to just relax and enjoy our stay in the mountains.
We took in this great area between the busy seasons. We came in October to enjoy the beauty of the fall and the absence of crowds. The whole Mammoth area was fantastic. This condo was a perfect location and very comfortable. It had everything necessary, was really really clean, nicely appointed. We really liked the layout too -- easy to gather and visit, peaceful for sleeping.
I really loved our stay at Cabins 21 in January 2020 except for the noise from our upstairs neighbor! During our whole stay we could hear people stomping above us until midnight! We told them nicely we could hear them but they didn't care. It was no fault of Natural Retreats and I must say they tried their best to address the issue (they reached out to HOA to contact that condo's owner) but not much they could do. The building doesn't have the best noise insulation; however, what made up for that was the interiors. Condo looks better in person, it's very clean and cozy (I'm very particular and am OCD about cleanliness). In my opinion the best future is the view of a snow embankment and trees from the living room and kitchen. You really feel like you are in the woods without neighbors! For skiers/snowboarders, it's an easy 10 minute walk to Eagle Express. If you have kids, drive over and drop the kids and gear off. One parent can drive back, park the car in the garage then walk over to the lift. We walked to the lifts then rented a $15 locker for our shoes (I wouldn't recommend walking in your ski boots) but for our snowboarding friends, it was easy to do in their boots. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Fireplace is great! It's electric and is a switch to turn on/off. And love the in unit W/D which I did use twice during our stay. If you are sensitive to noise, you may not like this unit BUT overall loved this place!
First time staying on Sierra Star golf course.
What a treat quiet comfortable and serene.
A little construction next door was the only issue
But if your on the slopes itâs not all that bad.
They start at 7 am to about 5 pm. Other than that perfect stay.
no hot tub, spotty wifi and tv, not cleaned well, great location
I had high hopes for this property, after choosing very carefully among many options. The location is nice -- close to Eagle lodge, abutting the golf course, and near enough to town. The unit is newer, though the carpet is already showing signs of wear. The furniture is comfy and fine. Yet, the hot tub was empty and nonfunctional, which for my family was a key amenity -- indeed, we always choose a place with a hot tub for us to relax in after a long day of skiing. I'm sure there will be a trite and polite response to this review that says something like "the hot tub was not available due to maintenance and we're sorry for the inconvenience," but that does not cut it. The tub has clearly been out of commission for a very long time -- no doubt when we booked and certainly now -- and then and now there is no notice on the VRBO listing that the tub isn't available. It's easy to update the listing, folks... This makes the description importantly inaccurate. In my mind this mis-advertisement is no different than if I'd booked a 3 bedroom place and arrived only to find 2 bedrooms. This is not what I paid (a lot!) for. Beyond this, the wifi worked about half the time we were there, the cleaning was subpar (we had to re-wash most of the dishes before using them...there were cleaning utensils under the couch...etc), and the bunk beds are fine for kids but not for adults (no real mattresses). Overall, this unit was nice but had some serious flaws, at least one of which absolutely should have been addressed in advance via a simple notice on the listing, which would have prompted me to stay elsewhere.
