The condo is super nice, well stocked and extremely close to transportation to the slopes. We had a great time celebrating 3 birthdays and felt like in the house of a friend. Highly recommended.
Spacious condo with everything you need and right on the blue line bus route. Beds were comfortable and really nice to have a washer and dryer for a weeks stay.
Came for spring skiing. Very large unit. Great kitchen. Nice place to stay. The complex owned jacuzziâs are not great- small and in a parking lot- didnât even attempt to use it. But the unit was convenient and well cared for
Loved staying at this condo; in a very convenient location walking distance to the village and canyon lodge. The owner was very helpful and friendly and always responded quickly. One of the more affordable vrbo options, though it's still not *cheap* but much better price compared to other options. Would stay here again!
Loved the place. Had everything we needed. Good size kitchen to cook in. Large dining table to do our puzzles and eat also!
We did get 12 inches new snow so that made trip incredible.
Like others have mentioned the apartment was better than described. My family 2 boys 18 and 11 stayed. Place was great size for our family each had plenty of space. The master is large with its own bathroom and the largest bath/shower Iâve had at a vacation place. Place was well heated and the kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked often. Location is perfect for skiing as the free blue bus stopped right outside and takes you to the village and canyon lodge. Loved the outside jacuzzi after a long day skiing. Host was great and reachable but after we checked in we needed nothing so all went perfect. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.
Just a few minutes from Canyon Lodge, and so comfortable! It was a bigger condo than I expected, and Terry was soooo helpful with anything we needed. Iâll be back!
Unfortunately, maintenance on the unit above my required me to move
Upon moving into the unit I was pleased to find it clean, and exactly as described. Parking is easy, access is easy, and all was perfect until unplanned maintenance on the unit above mine made staying here not tolerable. Terry was extremely supportive and apologetic. He first went through all the proper channels to have the unannounced work stopped but politics got in the way so he went out of his way to help me get into another convenient unit, of similar quality, that same day. Terry really went out of his way to make things right for something that was beyond his control. I appreciated his honesty and efforts. Next year, I will be staying with Terry.
Each year we go on ski week for Spring Break, and each year we try to choose a different condo complex, usually as close as we can get to Canyon Lodge.
This was our first time staying in Mountain Back, and we liked it. Terry's condo is an end unit, so it's got great light and lots of space. In fact, unlike most units near Canyon, this unit is actually bigger than it appears in the pictures, which is great! There was plenty of space at the dining table, and our party of 6 never felt cramped.
On the furnishing side, Terry's place is rustic, but well kept. Sleeping quarters were as pictured. Beds were decent and the kids loved the sun room with the trundle twins. Was unsure how that leather couch would feel, but both the couch and the oversized love seat were super comfy.
It had all the right cooking utensils, which we used each evening, and as is the case with most well priced units, the cookware has seen better days. Wifi worked fine, and it was nice to have the covered parking. The listing does not mention the clearance - which is posted at 7 feet, but we squeezed in with a roof box and were able to open it inside the garage, so actual clearance is closer to 8'. No sauna in the building (that we know of) and the hot tubs outside are small and aging. For those that value a good soak, this might be the only downside, though the our tub was nice and hot - a bit better than those at closer options like St. Anton or Chamonix.
All in all, a great stay. Thanks Terry!
