We had a great stay. The location was perfect for visiting family, beach, and downtown Chatham. The house was spotless. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!
The place was great! Roomy, great layout, awesome deck with patio furniture , close to everything in Chatham. Very clean, has everything you need, John was great to communicate with.
My husband and my 7 month old daughter stayed at this house in Chatham for a weekend, and we had the best stay! The house was clean, linens were clean, and they left us little cape cod goodies upon arrival! The house had everything we needed, and an awesome porch to hang out on which was also very private! It was a great location, and close to everything we needed. We absolutely loved it and will be staying again!
My wife and I enjoyed our week on the Cape and the location of house made it simple and easy to navigate. A short ride into Chatham for dinner and shopping, a shorter ride to a supermarket for groceries and other necessities. The house was very clean, had all the supplies we needed and the owner was very responsive if we needed anything. The beds were very comfortable, as were the towels in the bathroom. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to rest their head, relax and enjoy time on Cape Cod.
I grew up in Chatham after my parents moved here in 1969. I worked as a Chatham Shellfish Warden and at the Chatham Squire until I graduated from Northeastern University. Now my children summer here and work at the Chatham Squire while in college. Chatham is a very special place with a beautiful downtown to stroll, and 66 miles of shoreline for when you want to be close to the ocean. I hope we can accommodate you at our property here as a base for your Cape Cod adventures. Please reach out if you need any recommendations.
Our home is very close (<5 minute drive) to the Nantucket Sound beaches: Cockle Cove, Ridgevale, and Hardingâs Beaches, and sits on a quiet lot with conservation land separating you from the nearest road. If you have little ones, we recommend Ridgevale Beach or Schoolhouse Pond (crystal-clear fresh water). If you like to walk, the trail at Hardings Beach out to the old decommissioned lighthouse overlooking Stage Harbor is a gem (1.9 miles round-trip with some spots of soft sand). Look for nesting terns and plovers during the summer.
Our property is well cared for, and sits on a quiet and private lot, with a porch that overlooks an overgrown acre of pine and oak. During the summer we have turkey, rabbits, deer, and occasionally coyotes cross through the field. The home is a new listing for 2025 with all new furniture, and was recently renovated (all windows, doors, siding in 2024), with a brand new full-house air conditioning (spring 2025), as well as a new outdoor shower and patio with Solo fire pit (being built as I write this in March 2025). Additional pictures will be added when finished.
