Not as advertised

We were excited for this trip, but were disappointed with the experience. Cons: they advertise that the pool is heated. IT IS NOT, and I even reached out to them before the trip to confirm that it would be heated because my kids were looking forward to swimming in pool. The pool lights were not working and I reached out to them to see if they could tell me how to fix them. They never responded to that questions. They also advertise that there is a crib or pack and play for little kids to sleep in. THERE IS NOT one present. There were very few glasses and plates for use. Several of the overhead lights were not working so the master bedroom was very dark. The master bath has mold on the ceiling, presumably due to lack of ventilation. Pros: The location is amazing and the house is across the street from the beach. The beach was clean, there were lifeguards, and the water was crystal clear. Kids had a great time at the beach, and we spent a lot of time there because the pool was so disappointing.

Lovely Home with a beach vibe!

The home we stayed in was a very lovely Home. It was very clean and well kept. The open floor plan made it fell extra roomy and very convenient. We especially enjoyed the larg outside pool, surrounded by different types of teopical trees and bushes. If all this sounds great to you, there is more. The beach is about 100 steps away. Just a walk past the neihhbors house and acroos the street and you are there. The beach was beautiful with plenty of sunshine. During the week there are not many people on the beach and even on the weekend there is plenty of space between you and other vistors. Its also very clean and well kept. They have daily beach cleaning staff as well as a patroll that keeps everyone safe. The lifegaurd stands are numerous and well. manged with continuous lifequard duty. I forgot to mention that we had a vistor everday of our stay. A small family of Iguanas would come out and bask in the sun on the power line a bove the fence. They were no harm to us at all and they stayed in their territory. A lot of different types of resturaunts, grocery stores, etc were a very short drive from the house. The people that managed the house were verykind, thoughtful and considerate towards our need. They did a very good job communicating with us when we needed help with something. Kudos to them! I highly recommend this home for your beach visit! Enjoy... Brian

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I chose this wonderful corner of Fort Lauderdale in the Coral Ridge area because it truly offers the best of Florida living! Located on NE 15th Street, our neighborhood strikes that perfect balance between peaceful residential charm and vibrant city life.
What really drew me here is the stunning waterfront location - we're nestled among Fort Lauderdale's famous waterways, with many homes featuring canal access. The neighborhood has this gorgeous tropical feel with swaying palm trees and meticulously maintained landscapes. I particularly love taking evening walks and seeing the boats glide by on the Intracoastal.
The location is absolutely ideal - we're just minutes from the pristine Fort Lauderdale Beach, and the upscale Galleria Mall is practically in our backyard. One of my favorite aspects is being so close to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, a beautiful natural oasis where you can kayak, bike, or simply enjoy Florida's spectacular wildlife.
What makes this neighborhood special is its blend of long-time residents and newcomers, creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The area is known for its safety and well-maintained properties, and there's a real pride of ownership here. Whether you're grabbing breakfast at one of the local cafés or enjoying a sunset stroll, there's always a warm sense of community.
The convenience is unbeatable too - we're just a short drive from downtown Fort Lauderdale, excellent schools, and countless dining and entertainment options. It's truly the perfect spot for anyone looking to experience the best of South Florida living
