We enjoyed our stay. The VRBO was very nice, just what we needed for our visit to Maine and Acadia National Park. Lesley was available and helpful for anything we needed. The brochures were also very helpful. And Tracey's Seafood was very good and an easy walk from the VRBO, we ate there twice.

We loved our stay! Lesley's place had everything we needed, we were very comfortable. She was friendly and offered lots of helpful ideas of things to see and do. Her property was also relaxing sitting overlooking the beach, at the firepit, walking the beach front, and spotting the eagles. Very close to Schoodic to go watch nightly sunsets. We highly recommend!

The second floor studio is modern and light. It has a lovely view of Flanders Bay.Lesley the owner, who lives on the property in her mobil home, is very welcoming and friendly. She is available to accommodate your needs.Ellsworth has a supermarket and John Edward’sHealth food store which also has frozen meats.We would definitely stay there again!

Schoodic Bonanza!

Lesley is amazing and she has created a wonderful place to stay. She's a super host! This was perfect for us and we truly enjoyed schoodic peninsula on several days. Blueberry Hill was our favorite along with several other spots not so heavy w us tourists 😆. We picked this spot bc we wanted to do the highlights of Acadia on MDI as well as its schoodic peninsula with the option to do Campobello. We did all of that and so much more. Our kids were troopers hiking for 8 miles on our last full day! We picked so many blueberries it was just a delight! The weather was all over the place but we just rolled with it. This was our first national park trip as a family and it was truly memorable ❤️.

First of all, I am so grateful that you chose to come and stay at bluebirds oceanfront perch, which is located on the quieter side, but still close enough to Acadia national park on Mount Desert Island, and closer to Schoodic Peninsula, which is part of Acadia national park. You and your family were delightful and engaging, and made yourself right at home :-) thank you for taking care of my property like it was your own and being respectful of my house rules. I just adored having you all here and already miss you! You are always welcome to back!

The PERFECT place to stay on coastal Maine!

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The location was exactly what we wanted; quiet and away from the crowds of Bar Harbor but still close enough to drive in for shopping, restaurants and Acadia. Depending on traffic, it took about 40-45 minutes to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia. The drive was beautiful and easy. Personally we drove down three days during our stay. There are also a number of good restaurants close to the property and Ellsworth has a really cute Main Street about 20 minutes away with shopping and restaurants. Ellsworth also has a Walmart and big box stores if you need supplies. The property is absolutely stunning. There is a lot of open space for kids to play and there is direct access to the ocean. During low tide, our kids loved going down to the water to look for sea shells, crab claws, etc. The outdoor fire pit overlooks the ocean and the sunsets were incredible. Inside the property provides everything you need with some high end finishes. While the apartment is one large room (not including the bathroom), the layout feels quite open and large and was perfect for our family of four. The best part was the huge sliding glass door and large outdoor porch area looking out at the ocean! Lesley was an amazing host and incredibly responsive and helpful. She was located near the property and our two boys loved Ms. Lesley. She took the time to connect with them and showed them how to clam! This is an incredible place and we cant wait to come back!

I love water and everywhere you look are water views & can walk right down to the water. It is on 2&1/4 peaceful arces. Best part is I am in between both parts of Acadia National Park which is one of my favorites in the USA!!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Brand new build with lots of windows and glass doors which face the water so views are amazing! The decor is warm and inviting and has everything you could need. This is an above the garage, large studio apartment with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa, so it can accommodate up to four. Has a large deck overlooking the water & You can enjoy the sunset from the deck.
