Great place to stay when visiting Acadia but wanting to be removed from the hustle and bustle. It’s a solid 50 min drive to the park, but that was perfect for us.

We greatly enjoyed the fire pit and the fireplace. The deck was nice for sitting outside in the morning for coffee. (We would like to have had more view of the water.) The hosts took great care to see that the house was equipped with everything a guest may need.

Beautiful cabin. It has a peaceful setting overlooking water. The cabin was immaculate and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The space was perfect for our family of four. If we were to visit Acadia again, I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

What a hidden gem!!! We loved our stay with the views of the changing tides of the bay right outside our windows. Our vacation started right as we drove in the secluded drive and entered into the cabin. It was a perfect size for our group. The kitchen was very clean and easy to work in preparing a few meals. The covered deck with couch and chairs offered a serene start to the morning and relaxation the evening. Our last night entertainment was provided by a juvenile eagle.The location was excellent for exploring many of the small fishing villages. It was relatively just a couple hours to Campobello Island in Canada. There were so many things to do in the close proximity but yet we were never rushed or felt crushed by the crowds other than the short drive through Bar Harbor.We appreciated the small snacks provided in the kitchen and packed them for some of our jaunts.We would highly recommend this lodge for anyone visiting this part of Maine.

Beautiful!! So relaxing and cozy. Fully stocked kitchen, and I loved the coffee bar. We had the perfect amount of privacy. The heat was super fast so we were always comfortable. 10/10 recommend!

We could not have enjoyed this property any more! They thought of everything from the coffee bar to the couch blankets to make it feel like home away from home. The host was amazing and very fast to respond, even having the driveway cleared 3 times during our stay! Super clean place and would definitely stay again!

Look no further! Book Sorrento Bay Lodge! It will not disappoint! Everything you want for a Maine vacay and then more! Outstanding lodge with all the amenities you want. Comfort, quiet, and home vibes are the lodge. New kitchen appliances, new bathrooms, great sleep and gorgeous bay views. Alice and Kyle’s communications were simply outstanding. Acadia Nat’l Park, Bar Harbor within 40 or so minutes and Canada within 2.5 hrs. Lots to take in for sure. Our family of five from Colorado celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday couldn’t ask for more. Five adults played “Sorry” game at nite in the living room and relaxed on the deck, our favorite place. Sorrento Bay Lodge made our 30 years old daughter who wanted Maine a special birthday for sure. Come you will be delighted.

This cabin is all that is advertised and then some! The host has thought of everything. From the carefully furnished kitchen, the cute “coffee station,” outdoor seating areas, the cozy living room with fireplace and blankets, and the special arrival snacks — this is a wonderfully welcoming and comfortable home base for a visit to beautiful Maine. Down time at the Lodge for us involved sitting on the deck watching the birds (bald eagles and osprey included!) and the tide roll in and out. Located a short drive to Schoodic Point and in easy commuting distance to Mount Desert Island (Acadia and Bar Harbor!), it checks all the boxes. We loved our stay and are most grateful for our time in Maine. Highly recommend!

As a former VRBO premier host, we noticed and appreciated the extra details provided by our host and co-host. The pictures were accurate, the rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, a well-stocked coffee bar, and comfortable spaces outside for grilling, boiling, sitting by a fire pit, and watching sun/moon rises. Additionally, the hosts were very responsive in answering questions and providing information on the surrounding areas. In all, a very enjoyable experience!
