A recently fully refurbished villa overlooking the beautiful bay of St Tropez. This 4 bedroom and one studio villa [max 10 people] boasts a hilltop seat above the seaside town of les Issambres. All bedrooms have air conditioning and uninterrupted views across the sea to the village of St Tropez. Every bedroom has been individually designed and all have ensuite facilities. The kitchen and lounge areas have been designed in a very contemporary style to ensure total relaxation. These are fully air conditioned with all facilities to hand Satellite TV, WI FI , IPOD station and the newly installed kitchen has every appliance you could ever want including an and American Fridge and induction hob.
The lounges lead onto a beautiful outdoor eating and barbeque area which in turn leads down to the kidney shaped infinity pool . The new pool bar and outdoor kitchen means you never want to leave the pool area ! All sun loungers are of a contemporary woven loom style that compliments the whole chill out image of this villa. The beaches of Les Issambres are a 10 minute walk and St Tropez a short drive away.
Please note that there is a charge for cleaning and Linen wash. This is paid locally in cash to the management team. The cleaning cost is a one off 350 euros and the linen cost is 35 euros per person .

Location: The villa is approximately 20 minutes from the A8.
Around Les Issambres there are the towns of St Maxime offering great weekly markets and a ferry direct to St Tropez to save using the car.
St Tropez has no equal with its high class shopping ,beaches and night life.
In the other direction is Frejus and St Rapheal. A large town with many of the amenities everyone today are used to - large supermarkets, many garden centres, aqua parks and general shopping and many bars and clubs.
Golf courses are a plenty with the the beautiful hill top villages of Ramatuel and Grimaud within striking distance.
Les Issambres itself has some beautiful smaller beaches with a more intimate feel, it has a small harbour where you can hire boats and fish to your hearts content.
Inland and about 40 minutes drive you have the beautiful mountain areas with unmatched walks and views and to the east the great centres of Cannes [30 mins], Nice [40 mins] and Monaco 85mins] all within easy driving distance.

The villa: The villa is situated on a hill in a beautiful secluded avenue.
It is high up however - hence the magnificent views so the ground has many stone steps in the garden area leading to the various terraces.
Caution must therefore be taken at all times, particularly in the case of small children and the elderly.

Location 5 star!

We stayed in the house for 3 weeks. The house was not cleaned properly by arrival. Lot’s of stuff was not working. ( airconditioning)I spend a great deal of my holiday waiting on maintenance people. Such a pity, because the house has som much potential. Just needs some love and maintenance. We love to come to les Issambres, we been renting houses here for a decade, honestly this was the worst experience.

Très belle villa idéalement située en face de la mer

Dans l'annonce il n'a pas été mentionné que la piscine chauffée est une option payante (350 €) de même que le linge de maison (350 €), et, que sur les précisions d'Abritel, nous n'avons pas payé. A signaler que la connexion Wifi ainsi que la TV ne fonctionne pas. Suite à 1 orage samedi, nous avons fait appel à notre contact pour 1 problème électrique (portail et pompe de la piscine), celui-ci n'a été résolu qu'en fin de séjour. Malgré ces désagréments nous avons passé une semaine très agréable sous le soleil méditerranéen.

Fantastic holidays in a fantastic place

Thanks again to Nick for their beautiful villa and his reactive responses to all our questions. This villa is just a dream place for holidays, it was above our expectations! I suppose it is one of the very rare cases when the real property and the view is more beautiful than it is presented on the photos!!! Some slight remarks: the cleaning company had to get back to clean up some stuff after our arrival and the air-conditioning at the lower-level bedrooms could have been more efficient. A technician already started to look at this problem during our stay, so I do estimate that the response to the problems was very reactive and professional. Looking forward to returning to this villa next year!

This villa is absolutely stunning. The view from every part of the villa is breath taking. The villa is fully equipped with everything needed. The luxury main bedroom suite even has two bathrooms to choose from and the other double bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms. The downstairs kitchen/bar is such a bonus to keep drinks in the fridge and freezer for hot days and is a cool area to lounge in the day time. There are plenty of loungers and chairs for comfort and relaxation and there are lots of different areas to spread out. The area is beautiful and the Wild boars do exist, which we encountered a number of nights and were fantastic to see! Nicks communication was excellent and answered every question I asked, no matter how tedious. Would love to come back and stay here again. Thanks

Beautiful villa with stunning views

Amazing villa with all the facilities you would need. We had a super time there having a family get together. Highly recommend and lovely area. Communications are excellent with the property managers and owner Nick if needed. We just needed to contact about working the TV and Nick solved very quickly with a phone call. He was very friendly and helpful with advice on anything you need while there. Pool area is bigger than looks in the photos and fabulous views from all areas of the house over to the sea. Very nice outside eating area from the kitchen which we used a lot, again with great views. Walkable to Les Issambres with everything you need. Very good friendly & busy local bar/restaurant as you get down there. Would recommend having a car though to get around.

Villa Viraya

This place is really magic and breath taking. Fantastic view and beautiful bay made our vacation amazing. House is comfortable with great pool which allows swim between sky and bay. We spent great 7 days in group of 8 person, and for sure we took away from there notforgetable memories.

Great place in a great location.

The house itself and the location were perfect. Fantastic view to the golf of St Tropez and a wonderful heated pool. Enough clean rooms for our group of ten and the house was well equipped. We did subtract one star because we would have appreciated someone to be there upon arrival (meet and greet) to introduce us to and explain the numerous house systems and minimize confusion with (for example) the induction oven, where many problems came up by our use of the wrong pots. Nevertheless was the owner of the place, Nick, always available via telephone and usually answered and helped the best he could within the hour. Overall we can definitely recommend that house. Great place to be.

Stunning Property with amazing view. A+++++++

We stayed here as a party of 5 for our annual family holiday and all I can say is WOW. The house was amazing and absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. Incredible infinity pool with uninterrupted views over the bay of Saint Tropez. Les Issambres is only a 15 minute walk away which is a beautiful village with lots of lovely bars and restaurants. You can also get a short passenger ferry from here to saint tropez. The house itself is fully equipped, all rooms have A/C and the living room has british TV! Fantastic BBQ area and the outdoor bar is very handy! Can't wait to return - thanks for everything Nick, you were the perfect host.

Stunning

A truly exceptional villa with amazing views across to St. Tropez. Villa Virdaya is furnished to a very high standard and has all home comforts and more so no need to venture too far away from your sun lounger next to the amazing infinity pool...if you do feel the need however, then a lovely beach and lots of fab restaurants and bars a short drive away. No better place to spend two weeks relaxing in the sun. Thank you Nick & Yvette - will be back next year! Mike, Nicola, Archie & Maisie

Beautiful Villa with magnificent views of the sea

Beautiful villa with a few sitting areas/terraces with views of the sea you would never tire of! Villa comprises one large master suite with 2 bathrooms, 3 small double ensuite bedrooms and a separate apartment with double bed/ensuite. The outdoor kitchen/bar is a great addition. The wild boar do exist and live at the bottom of the garden! The villa has great views - but that means its high up - the walk to the supermarket down was fine - not great going back up (steep) so car is advisable. The owners were very helpful during the booking process. I would recommend staying here.

Stunning views.....

Just back from a super two weeks staying at Villa Virdaya. The villa was beautifully refurbished and Nick and Yvette should be very proud of the changes they've made. Lots of different areas to chill even with six adults. The villa is very well equipped with a kitchen upstairs and down by the pool! Plenty of sun loungers to laze on by the amazing infinity pool. We took a few of Nick's restaurant recommendations in Les Issambres and had some lovely meals. Seafood especially good. All in all a thoroughly relaxing holiday and would love to go back.

A place to love!

We had the most amazing holiday in this villa. Everything was just perfect and the villa, recently renovated is stunning. The owner was really helpful whenever we had a question. We where totally 7 people and the villa provides a lot of space. The pool area and pool bar was fantastic and offered many lazy hours in the sun. The property provides a lot of privacy and is located in a quiet area. We will be back next year and we really recommend this stay to others. Take care Nick and Yvette and talk to you soon. Fantastic

Our family of 7 had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful villa recently. Upon arrival the weather was beautiful, which firstly highlighted the amazing infinity pool which sits overlooking the bay of Saint Tropez. We have spent many wonderful days enjoying this gorgeous view; you just do not tire of it. The pool and villa were spotlessly clean and there were plentiful loungers/seating for us all to enjoy and have our own space. The outside bar area is absolutely fantastic! Its even equipped with a cooker should you wish to use it. We would all relax here before venturing out on the evening for dinner in the local restaurants. We also had a couple of BBQ's which was conveniently located next to the entrance of the villa. The inside of the villa is excellent. There is everything you could ask for comfort wise, and the space has been very well thought out too. All of the rooms were very clean and tidy; the beds are very comfortable and we all slept very well during our stay. Off-road/private parking is also available where we found we could park our two hire cars easily. There is Sky TV which was perfect for our youngest when the weather got a little warm for her. This was our first holiday in a few years due to work commitments and we couldn't of been more pleased. We dined in the local town and the neighbouring towns a couple of nights which were very friendly and welcoming. There are some beautiful restaurants in the area. We spent a couple of mornings at the beach which is again very clean. The water is lovely and clear and we found the beach very comfortable for space. We would without a doubt return, though next time we would love another week instead of just one. Thank you for a truly wonderful holiday.

Superlative

Just wonderful. We just loved it. My wife and I usually stay in luxury hotels but after 15 years, we decided we wanted to be on our own for a while without the grownup children; with our own time-schedule and our own in-room dining, no butlers, no housekeepers and no turn-down service and no noisy guests next door. The house is very tastefully decorated and well appointed, with each guest room having en-suite bathrooms, perfect airconditioning and amenities, including a fully equipped utility room, it ticked all the boxes. The first week, before the kids flew down, it was "just the two of us". We enjoyed the peace, quiet and real privacy with lots of space to wonder around. We enjoyed the pool immensely and with 2 weeks of unbroken sunshine, it was bliss. Housekeepers came when summoned and the "concierge desk" was manned my a very able team at Bastion d' Azur and no other than the owner of the house, Nick who was always available on his mobile. Then the kids came down for the second week and spoilt our privacy. All in all, a perfect home away from home with stunning everything! Thank you Nick, we will be back. Tom Smit and family

Felt home from home with better view and weather

Hello Nick, I must tell you just how much my friends and I –altogether a party of 9- enjoyed staying at your villa. Of course, the weather was perfect, which adds a lot to the fun. We loved the pool and the wonderful view. The fact each room has its own facilities makes accommodation stress-free. The shady dining space was just right. Joost and another gentleman of Bastion d’Azur were very friendly and helpful. I needed a dentist and I even had an appointment made, before I could turn around. Want to come back ASAP!! Bernd

The best of everything.

Located high up, the views from most rooms and the pool are amazing. It is a peaceful location but just a short walk down to the beach (or a 5 min taxi ride) and you have a wide selection of bars and restaurants if you fancy having more excitement. The property itself is furnished to a high standard, it is spacious and comfortable and will suit large family groups or those seeking to get away from it all. It is clean and well maintained and has all of the essentials available to enable you to live as if you were at home.It takes just over an hour from Nice airport to get there. Highly recommended.

A dream location on the Cote d'Azur!

We stayed at Les Issambres in June 2010, so not high season, and would suspect that these comments would be even more relevant then. The villa is in a great spot on the hillside well up above the main coast road at Les Issambres : big benefits are peace and quiet; a cooling afternoon breeze and the most stunning view out across the sea towards San Tropez, with the hillside forming a natural frame. You could look at it all day and some probably will! The villa itself is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and good for a large party. Rooms are not huge, but well proportioned and interesting, and all of them have versions of 'that view'. Being on the side of the hill there are steps involved, and internally quite a tight set of stairs down from the living room to the bedrooms on the lower floor. Not a problem for reasonably fit and agile, but perhaps not an ideal villa for bringing ageing grandparents. The outside seating and pool area is very private, and there are some further private reclining areas farther down in the large and interesting gardens. It is a 15 minute or so walk downhill to the seafront at Les Issambres, where there are convenient shops, bars and restaurants. Walking back up hill takes a little longer, and will be hot work in high season, but we found taxis fairly easy to come by. This is a magical spot, highly recommended.

Stunning villa in excellent location.

The villa is superb. Set on a hill side with beatiful sea views from all the villa and the dining area and pool. The decor is fabulous all the bedrooms very generous with comfortable large beds , all en suite, and all opening onto a large terrace overlooking the sea. A fabulous pool ,great sun loungers. The photos do not do it justice, with the large, covered outoor dining area, and various seating areas, the villa is ideal for large groups. The owers are very ameanable and helpful, and have thought of everything you might need in a villa. Everything was well organised and easy with regards to the booking. The village of les issambres and the beaches are wonderful and laid back, but with easy acsess to more develpoed areas if prefered. I couldnt have asked for more of a holiday destination or villa. Suits all ages form baby to retired.

Wonderful memories

The description of the property was just spot on, excellent accommodation and facilities, a perfect base to explore the towns along the Cote d’Azur. Also close to local beaches, restaurants and bars when you don’t want to venture too far. The accommodation is very well set out and delightfully furnished. It was ideal for our two families - felt like we had plenty of room. The view across to St Tropez is astounding, we spent a number of early evenings out on the balcony with a refreshing drink watching the world go by. We have great memories of the holiday and would definitely like to visit again.

Absolutely Fabulous Villa

Beautiful Villa in a stunning location, website description does not do this lovely property justice. It is a must if you are looking for a magnificent setting with accommodation for 10 people. Chilling by the pool or simply relaxing overlooking St Tropez this property has it all. Great location, short distance to Les Issmabres which has bars, restaurants and local shops and of course St Tropez is just across the bay. We have and would recommend this gorgeous villa.

Fabulous Villa

We spent a fabulous fortnight at this great house, 10 minutes walk to Les Issambres beach and all the wonderful bars and restaurants. The ferry to St Tropez is definitely the best way to avoid the traffic queues. The house itself is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, modern but with lots of character, The rooms are great all en suite and private, the living areas are cool and airy. Outside there is a beautiful pool and the BBQ area offers welcome shade from the sun. Meet & Greet was friendly and efficient. Even though there were four couples we didn't feel overcrowded as the house is so spacious. We all had a wonderful time and hope to return again in the future, the house exceeded our expectations and the website doesn't do it justice, highly recommended.

A wonderful place to stay

The villa is a great place to stay for holidays. The house is clean, well-maintained and the description was aboslutely accurate. There was a very friendly meet-and-greet service and the location including the view on the gulf of St. Tropez was wonderful. Moreover the villa provides a lot of wardrobes, a kitchen with a lot of equipment and 5 well-furnished bedrooms which leave enough room for 10 persons. We would recommend this villa to everyone. Only the roads to the villa are not so well but you can reach the villa from Les Issambres in less than 5 minutes.
