Awesome and cozy place!

We very much enjoyed our stay! Everything was easy to find. Everything was clean and cleaning supplies were available to use. Neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The blankets on the bed were the most comfy I’ve ever slept with!!! We had a great stay here.

Great spot to stay walls are a little thin so you can hear the neighbors but other than that a great spot to stay for St. Louis

Great spot, able to walk to multiple dining locations. Has everything you’d need for your trip to STL.

Sister Trip

It was a great place to stay. Very comfortable. It would have helped to have some ice trays to have ice. You do need pictures of the front of the house so people can see the steps leading into the property. Overall it was great!

Great, quiet location

Location was perfect for our needs- Botanical Garden and zoo. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Everything we wanted to see and do was in about a 15 minute drive. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Neighbor has dogs that barked a lot during the day when we were there but we never heard them after 9:30pm. Communication with host was great. Always quick to respond and helpful. Kitchen was well stocked although we didn’t use it for cooking. Listing says washer and dryer which we did not see. It may be in the basement but we didn’t need it anyway. We will definitely consider staying again if we are back in the area. Take note this is an older property so if you are looking for something fancy or new this isn’t it. Personally, I think the vintage charm is wonderful and warm!

Family Getaway

On arrival first day we found mouse droppings on the couch, dirty q tip on the floor next to the night stand, pot ash and pot in one of the draws of the tv stand, broken blinds in bedroom and front door, second night new people showed up and smoked pot and cigarettes and the smell overwhelmed our side with smell through Sunday, very loud music, owner contacted us late at night and was going to call cops on us, informed him it wasn’t us that it was new people that came in, found out they didn’t have permission, owner doesn’t change codes on doors, they got in with an old code and had theirselves a good time and we got to deal with it. Back yard was a mess, broken glass on the concrete and in the grass, I wouldn’t let kids play outside. Otherwise, very cute and nice place, great location.

Fantastic location with historic building charm

I'm so glad my partner and I stayed here for our first trip to St. Louis. The location is less than 10 minutes walk away from the Missouri Botanical Gardens. There are also several great restaurants/businesses nearby. We loved the feeling of Shaw neighborhood--folks were very friendly and welcoming. We also loved this space. The kitchen was great, including the complimentary coffee set-up that we used every day and a dishwasher for easy clean-up. There was also a small sitting area overlooking the back yard area which we enjoyed while drinking coffee in the morning. The beds and living room couches were very comfortable. We were even able to watch Hulu on the TV. And thank goodness for the air conditioning and ceiling fans, which were so helpful as we cooled down from the summer heat outside. A small note is to make sure to pull the front door in all the way, or the lock won't click shut (I think the heat made the door/doorjamb swell). I loved how the door used a code, but it took a couple tries to pull the door in completely and lock it properly. But the location was gorgeous and definitely worth it! The owner was very fast, courteous, and helpful whenever we contacted him. Thank you for the great stay!

This property is located in the Shaw neighborhood and it has several restaurants and other places of interest that are in walking distance. I would stay here again
