Adorable 1898 Cottage with Hot Tub | Dog Friendly
Welcome to The Cottage at Pine Grove, a charming escape nestled in the woods where peace and nostalgia meet. This sweet 125-year-old blue Victorian cottage, with its cheerful yellow door and timeless craftsmanship, offers the perfect retreat from everyday life. Inside, you’ll find a cozy one-bedroom haven with a plush King bed, a snug "Bed Nook" with another King, and a daybed in the sunroom—accommodating up to four guests.
Relax in the serene sunroom, a perfect spot for your morning coffee or a good book. Step outside and enjoy nature with Adirondack chairs, al fresco dining, or a barbecue on the propane grill. Drift into relaxation on the hammock or unwind in the hot tub, tucked quietly behind the cottage.
In the evening, gather around the pellet stove for warmth and conversation, or indulge in entertainment with Roku TVs in both the living room and bedroom. For a touch of nostalgia, enjoy the record player, board games, puzzles, and books. There’s even a workspace in the living room for those who need to catch up on work or jot down thoughts.
Located in Historic Pine Grove, a quaint railroad town, the cottage is just a short walk from the Pine Library, Antique Emporium, and Zoka’s restaurant. Sphinx Park and the Bucksnort Saloon are nearby, or take a quick drive to Pine Valley Ranch Park for hiking, fishing, and biking. Just 40 minutes to Red Rocks and an hour from downtown Denver, it’s the perfect spot to explore and relax.
Please note, the Cottage is full of character. Doors require a special pull or push, and each heater has its own thermostat. The vintage kitchen is without a dishwasher, and the stove is slightly smaller than modern standards. The original wood-burning stove, stamped 1896, serves as a unique breakfast bar. Pets and children are welcome, but be mindful of antique furnishings and the original glass windows.
Embrace the challenges of mountain living—wildlife, snowstorms, and steep dirt roads. AWD vehicles are recommended, especially in winter, but most cars can manage with the provided directions. While cell service is limited, Wi-Fi calling works great.
Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, family retreat, or solo adventure, The Cottage at Pine Grove offers a one-of-a-kind experience surrounded by nature’s beauty.
