Come escape to our historic log cabin alongside a beautiful creek in North Idaho
Come escape to North Idaho and stay in an authentic 109 Year Old Log Cabin. Built in the early 1900's by one of Sandpoint's first families, this cabin will take you back in time. The main floor has a full kitchen with coffee bar, family room, full bath and relaxing sunroom with a space for reading & relaxing. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a half bath. Enjoy the early mornings in the sun room or out on the wrap around deck watching the animals in the yard!
This quaint cozy cabin was absolutely the most unique country getaway ever. We loved everything about it⊠the furnishings and decor were appealing and neat. The kitchen was well stocked with needed cooking and serving supplies. The outdoor fire pit provided great evenings outdoorsâŠAnd the countryside beauty there in Idaho was stunning. Definitely recommend this jewel of a place⊠you will not be disappointed.
I previously sytayed here and loved it! This time I brought my husband and he loved the quaintness of the cabin but was affected by the train noise at night, even though the host graciously provided ear plugs! Such a great cabin that is well appointed...and we loved the porch rocking chairs and peaceful sitting area by the stream.
Beautiful property. Clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed. Check-in was easy due to great host communication. Easy to find. There are trains (and hence train whistles) that run close to the property in the middle of the night. It wasn't too bad to deal with and we were still able to get a good night's sleep. But guests who are light sleepers should take that into account. Hope to stay again some other time.
Absolutely loves staying here, Jenny was so sweet and great to work with. Any questions we might have had she was quick to answer. Loved hearing the train go by. My grandmother absolutely loved coming over and sitting on the porch and watching
The cabin was cute, cozy and met all of our familyâs needs. Jenny even provided us with a fake Christmas tree, lights and decorations since we drove from Wisconsin to celebrate with our son who lives there. We cooked in nearly every night
The cabin was so very nice to stay in. We were there 6 days and it truly was peaceful and relaxing. It had all the amenities you may need in a vacation rental. I loved sitting in the rocking chair on the deck with my morning coffee. The little stream was peaceful and I loved the size of the lot to walk around. The back room was full of games and books and had an electric fireplace which added ambiance. That room was very bright, and had a cute sliding barn door. The bed was very comfortable and earplugs were provided for the train noise, although we didnt need them. :) I didnt even hear it that much. We were there looking for real estate, and lucky for us, Jenny is a real estate agent.! She showed us a property, and if we were staying longer, I am sure she would have got to show us more..:) We truly had a pleasurable time, Jenny and Tim were so nice and accommodating. The pellet stove put out alot of heat...so no need to worry about chilly nights in the cabin. We had a great time, and we will stay here again when we return to north idaho .
This was an idyllic cabin, very comfortable, clean, well appointed and I loved staying there! Only minutes to town and all amenities. I loved the covered porch with rocking chairs to e joy my morning coffee. Very scenic surroundings. I canât wait to stay there again on my next Sandpoint visit.
My husband and i were taking a babymoon trip and this was our first stop. It was so relaxing and peaceful! The firepit was a great amenity we took advantage of and the little reading nook area was perfect for early mornings. It was nice having the bedrooms upstairs for those of us who are morning people but donât want to disturb our partners who would rather sleep in. We would definitely come again!
Cute rustic cabin that was easy to find near Sandpoint. Has a well stocked kitchen and a sun room full of games/puzzles. All the beds were comfortable and clean.
This is an authentic 109 Year Old Log Cabin built in the early 1900's by one of Sandpoint's first families. This cabin will take you back in time. We have updated many features, but its charm is still rich in every little nook and cranny. And the creek that runs alongside the cabin just makes it all perfect.
And every so often, you can view the northern lights - Aurora Borealis - right from the front yard.
