Timeless 4 Chambre Semi-Oceanfront à Kill Devil Hills est sûr de plaire à tous! La maison de vacances classique comprend une piscine privée (12x28) et un bain à remous idéal pour les après-midi ensoleillés Outer Banks. Avec les nombreuses options de divertissement en plein air, cette maison offre des équipements à l'intérieur pour garder le plaisir va! Il y a une salle de loisirs de niveau inférieur qui comprend une télévision et une table de billard. Une plate-forme moustiquaire est situé hors de la partie supérieure de la salle à manger niveau pour fournir un endroit idéal pour profiter de la soirée et un bon repas. Il y a 2 suites de maître. L'emplacement de cette maison de détente ne peut pas être battu, il est à quelques pas à l'accès à la plage. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful stay at Dollar Short. Property was very clean and maintained. Only a walk across the street to the beach. Pool was perfect to cool off in and sit beside to enjoy the sun and some reading. Many restaurants to choose from in close proximity as well as shopping (all kinds) and fresh seafood market. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware/dishes to use. Lots of space.

Great location Dollar Short

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful time at the beach. Although ocean and pool cold the weather was also great. could use a couch in pool table area, instead of chairs and high top table. Kitchen cookware left much to be desired bring your own frying pan and some cleaning supplies for the outdoor plastic furniture. the pool deck furniture needs some improvement also. Property management very responsive to the few issues we had during our stay,still waiting for them to get back with us on how to retrieve a very sentimental box of games and cards we've had for over 25 years. hope they reply soon.

Great Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice. Having the kitchen and living room area on the 3rd floor, which I assume is the norm for this area, means you will get your steps in :)The ice cream shop next door is a must visit, delicious!Location is great. A short walk to the beach, a short drive for groceries. Plenty of great experiences to be had within short driving distance.I thought it was very nice to be able to check in/out online with phone. No hassle. If the lights worked for the hot tub and pool, it probably would have made the experience a little better after sun down but not a deal breaker. The management of the property never really returned our calls or attempted contacts so never got that fixed.Still, overall, had a great time with the family.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was mold in 3 of the full baths (the 2 of the middle level and the lowest level). The mold was on the floor, along with heavily rusted floor vents in those 3 bathrooms. The kitchen was a mess- microwave and stove/oven were soiled, crumbs/food on the countertops, and about 1/3 of the plates and cups were sticky. All of the rooms had been partially dusted- places some people wouldn't normally look at hadn't be cleaned in months (fans, lampshades, side table by couches). Definitely wouldn't be a safe stay if you're bringing children, given the mold and rust.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is alittle dated but checks all the boxes. It has everything listed in the description and would have been the perfect house for our beach vacation. However, it has mold. Our entire group was sick by the time we left and no one was sick before arrival. During the tropical storm their was a leak in the ceiling and you could see where this wasn’t the first time there’s been a problem. Their was mold build up in the bathrooms and rusted fixtures. I understand that storms/flooding/water happens at the beach but that’s why most houses don’t have carpet. When I reported the water damage after the storm the maintenance person didn’t even bring a bucket for the leak or fans to dry the carpet. There was also molding cardboard boxes in the garage that smelled bad.

Location, location, location!

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were pleased with our stay at Dollar Short. Being located on Beach Road, directly across from a public beach access was a plus! The home is older and the furnishings are dated. We traveled with four teenagers and they LOVED the pool table! The kitchen was decently equipped but there were no pot holders (not a huge issue but had we known, we could have brought some). We prepared most of our meals at the house and were excited about the grill. The "charcoal grill" in the description is a park grill and not large enough to grill for our group of 7. Since we had already grocery-shopped with grilling in mind, we had to purchase a grill for the week. Again, not a deal-breaker but had we known, we would have planned differently. It was nice having access to the garage, as it offered secure and convenient storage for beach items during the week. There was ample parking for our three vehicles. It would have been nice to have deck furniture. Fortunately, we brought bag chairs and used them on decks/balconies. The pool and hot tub were great, however, there were some junky, bulky lounge chairs stacked on one side that limited the pool deck. We found a vacuum in one of the closets but never a broom. The home was clean, which is most important. We had a great vacation and will return to the OBX, but choose a different property for our stay.

Great house and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house last minute and are quite happy with it! The staff at Beach Realty are always great. Had the opportunity to meet the owner, nice man. The jets in the hot tub were weak and it stopped holding it's temperature on the second to last night. The pool guy corrected the error when he was there the day after we checked in, the same error popped up which is likely why is wasn't heating. Would be nice if instructions were left to fix error; we had no hot tub the last full day of our vacation. Perhaps owner will replace as the we were told the issues are because it's old.Overall house is clean and comfortable. Well worth the price. Directly across from the beach and walkable to many places. Recommend and would stay again

Decent property

Reviewer Comments: Walked in and noticed a few little things wrong ( back of chairs in game room wobbly ( which we screwed in), burners on stove crooked, faucet in kitchen leaking). Nothing critical we needed to call management about. We had 5 kids over the age of 10 and it was perfect for us ( 6 adults ). Furniture in living room not fancy but comfortable. The beach was across the street but the pool was a big HIT. Location for kids is good, a lot of things to do.

Beach Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach Realty did a very good job - everything was automated and easy. The property was clean & offered plenty of space. The property is dated but, within walking distance to the beach which is very nice. It is also within the walking distance to some restaurants. My only negative comment would be that on the morning we were leaving, staff was on site making noise - I believe they were there to close the pool for the season but, it felt like we were being rushed out even though we left ahead of the 10am departure time.

Beautiful home and great location, but lacking some basics

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing in OBX for almost 20 years and this home was by far the most poorly equipped of any we have stayed in. Barely enough dishes and flatware for 4 people let alone the 9 that it’s supposed to accommodate (we had 6 in our party - did not appreciate having to wash dishes after every meal); no corkscrew, barely any pots and pans, ZERO board games (that was a first for sure!), and the pool table was missing a ball! We did appreciate the inflatable pool toys, and we really enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. Overall, a nice home in a great location - ocean views and just across the street from beach access- but the house overall needs to be better stocked!

Nice location and beach access! Nice appliances and AC. Good water pressure. Things we needed were provided in the kitchen and throughout the house. We liked being able to all sit around the table for meals.

Great value for the price!

We had a great time! Good location, great layout. The property management company was outstanding as we did have a few things break, while we were there. The house is a bit outdated, the beds were not that comfortable and it really is not a good ocean view. Overall it is well worth the price.

Reviewer Comments: house is in great location..pool is nice..house needs some updates but overall nice place..we had one major problem this year, all of us got sick with coughs and sore throats..I dont know if the air conditioning system may need cleaned , but it was really odd..i could see if one or two of us had problem if it was possibly allergies to something in the area, but all of us had the same problem..I hope the owner addresses this as we really would like to come back to the house..other than that, any issue we called the rental agency was handled promptly..one more thing, it would be nice to get in earlier than 4;00 you basically waste a whole day waiting to get in..
