Toute la famille adorera disposer d’une piscine privée (13x29) et d’un bain à remous pour les après-midi et les soirées passées à la maison. La maison est à côté de # 1470 Dollar Short.

La maison dispose de 2 suites principales et d'une salle de jeux avec table de billard pour les soirées de jeux en famille. Vous pourrez profiter de la terrasse en plein air pour profiter de la soirée en soirée et savourer un repas fraîchement préparé dans la cuisine entièrement équipée. Cette maison est sûre de fournir tout pour des vacances fantastiques à Outer Banks dont vous vous souviendrez pendant des années!

Day Late was right on time!

A few maintenance problems the first 3 days but they were handled very efficiently by Ken of Beach Realty making the remaining stay very enjoyable.

Great location with just a few hiccups.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Outer Banks this summer and this property very much helped that experience. Close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and entertainment was a huge perk. The swimming pool and pool table were a delight to my family. Just a few things should be addressed...a lot of window blinds were damaged prior to our arrival, the hot tub ran too hot often and the temp button didn't seem to help, and a burner was out on the stove. The newer AC units worked wonderfully as it was 95 outside everyday! One last suggestion...correct the fire stick problem with the TVs. Most of the remotes didnt work with any fire stick.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was ok, some of the appliances could be updated. The dryer The clothes got hot on medium. Windows need curtains to keep the light from the plaza & some sunlight so you can sleep. Bottom fridge made noise. Mattresses on bed need changed out. Could use new couch & love seat. There's a fence around the pool, but a small tall fence needs put up on both side very annoying when people parks you get the headlights shining & people in line can see you practically if your in the hot tub. I liked how close to the beach it was. Would I rent this again, probably if it was all I could get .

In need of some TLC

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned home from our OBX vacation where we stayed at “Day Late”. This home served it purpose, no doubt but definitely needs some TLC and upgrading. Here are some suggestions....1. The furniture needs replacing as it is worn out and you sit and sink in the couches. (My father had to sit at the dining room table in a chair to watch TV because he couldn’t get up from the living room furniture. 2. The pool needs attention. The pool lights do not work. There is no shaded area in the pool area. A table and umbrella would be helpful if you need to get out of the sun. 3. A privacy fence would be nice also beside the ice cream shop, people pack in that place and have no other option but to stand outside right beside the pool area of this house so not much privacy. 4. Steps, steps, steps....between the steps in the house and the access to the beach, everyone had issues with steps. (Even younger people) 5. Mattresses on all beds are worn out. 6. Outside seats are all rusted and dirty. Overall it served its purpose but I feel with the money this house brings in, some could be used to update.

Great Home!

It was close to pretty much everything and has a restaurant, ice cream shop, and a little “bar” right beside of it. The ice cream shop stayed pretty busy all day but didn’t really bother us. There is a fence around the pool but you can still hear people talking and socializing at the places next door. It wasn’t a problem to us!

Needs more privacy

Needs privacy fence to block customers from shopping center. Customers can look right in as well as walk right in to the rental yard. The grill for the unit is right next to where people at the shopping center sit outside, so smoke goes right to them, plus no privacy.This is not really family friendly given the easy access by people from the shopping center.

No one is going to use it. Label the switches- A lot of light and fan switches ended up leaving the outside lights on alot. Don’t know if the pool light works, never found it.All and all nice place.

We had no privacy while grilling as it was right next to the people trying to enjoy icecream, and so was the hot tub. People could see right into it, possibly a fence would help this situation. You can't beat the location of this house in Kill Devil Hills, easy access to the beach, ice cream shop next door and pizza a block away. I will say there are some uncomfortable exposure points. Anyone can walk off the street and up the front steps of the house, or can walk from the parking lot next door right into the back steps and pool area. The house itself was fine, needs a lot of updating. Stove and washing machine are at least 30-40 years old. Deck needs attention as there are a lot of slivers of wood sticking up all over. Lamps seemed to be falling apart, I give the homeowner credit for getting a tech to fix the washing machine pretty quickly after we called in an issue.

The week went too fast!

Reviewer Comments: We had the usual issues, a TV didn't have sound, the large kitchen table (seating 10) needed to have a leaf taken out, too fragile and we didn't want to break it. Kitchen didn't have some of the things necessary to bake, cracked light switches, some light bulbs out, and the hot tub without an opening handle. All things easily taken care of and for the price, we felt should have been done. I know, you only see what's wrong....the pool was great, and thank ful one of the floats worked but had a hole. Beach walk nice and the AC was super. The pool guy came by once and checked the PH so we were happy although the pool needs cleaning care. It was a nice place for the week and would recommend it.

Reviewer Comments: The bedroom with the king bed had a broken mini blind laying on the dresser when we arrived. There were no other window coverings so the room was open and exposed to the house next door. It was immediately reported to the rental agency, but nothing was done to fix it. I was disappointed that there was no pool maintenance all week so the pool got quite dirty. The sofas in the living room are very old and uncomfortable and the glass top tables are not child friendly, very sharp corners. But the house is in a good location, and has great space.
