Particularly magical during the holiday season, this Truckee home is full of sunlight, comfortable furnishings, and modern appliances. Plus, the nine-person hot tub adds a spa-like experience to your mountain stay.

The living room is composed of a grand stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings, creating the perfect space for family movie nights and fireside coffee sips. As you step into the kitchen and dining room, you will quickly take notice of the marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and warm wood finishes. Two wine fridges ensure all your beverages are perfectly chilled. Prepare your favorite dishes while gazing out at the snowy landscape beyond, and when it's time to eat, gather around the formal dining table as a family.

Luxurious moments of peace will come with ease as you tuck under the plush quilts in each of the six bedrooms. Private TVs, ceiling fans, and ample storage space tie together the amenities in the bedrooms. As you continue to explore the home, you will discover a designated office space (including a desk and a printer), an in-home movie theater, and a laundry room boasting two sets of washers/dryers. Kid-friendly extras include a Pack 'n Play, high chair, baby safety gates, and a selection of games and books.

The perfect ending to another day in the mountains is spent in the bubbling warmth of the hot tub.

While exploring Truckee and beyond, be sure to check out Northstar California Resort, Historic Downtown Truckee, Old Brockway Golf Course, Donner Memorial State Museum, Truckee River Rafting, and Palisades Tahoe Resort.

Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities.

NORTHSTAR VILLAGE: Located near the top of Northstar Drive on the left-hand side. The village is flourishing with life and features various shopping options, from stylish boutiques and specialty retailers to a collection of cafes and restaurants centered around a year-round skating rink. Relax in the Village for live music, special events, holiday festivities, and a collection of fire pits, ideal for roasting s'mores. Northstar California™: As one of the finest year-round resorts, Northstar can satisfy the most avid skier or snowboarder as well as the summer outdoor enthusiast. Northstar Resorts offers 97 ski trails spread across 3,170 skiable acres, award-winning terrain parks, and snow sports, including alpine and Telemark skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and tubing. Summer activities include mountain biking, golf, scenic lift rides for sightseeing and hiking, fly fishing, and more.

TRANSPORTATION: the free Northstar shuttle on-call service can be used by downloading the Northstar Transportation”App. The shuttle accommodates up to eight (8) people.

YOUTH CENTER: Video games, pool tables, Ping-Pong, movie room, vending machines, and much, much more are available. It's fun for the entire family!

ADULT CENTER: A quiet place for adults to relax on the sofas, read by the fireplace (if you didn’t bring a book, borrow one from our library), or watch TV. This is for guests 18 and older (younger guests can enjoy the Teen Center).

FITNESS CENTER: Guests may use aerobic equipment, weight machines, and free weights. Guests must be 18 or older to use the facilities (14-17 allowed with adult supervision). Saunas are located in both men’s and women’s locker rooms.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
