Welcome to the beautiful and peaceful Long View of Candlewood Lake!

A charming home for you and your family to enjoy any season of the year.

During your stay, you will be part of the scenic Millstone Ridge Beach Community.

Kayaks and a canoe are available for you to enjoy the lake. The community beach is just steps away. The house features a pellet stove fireplace, A/C in the summer and heat in the winter.

Sit out on the main deck and enjoy the glorious views while you sip your coffee in the morning or enjoy the gas fire pit in the evening with a glass of wine.

Fire up the Weber grill for a fun summertime family BBQ.

1st and 2nd floor decks allow you to sit outside and enjoy the most amazing view of Candlewood Lake.

Beautiful views, comfortable home

Loved sipping coffee looking across the lake at the morning light hitting the ridge. The location of this house is so pretty. We visited in winter and the house was cozy and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of four to spread out. Everything was clean and we had all the kitchen gear and other essentials we needed. Thanks for a great home-away-from-home!

New Milford Getaway

The house faces the lake and offers tranquil and beautiful views from most rooms. It was meticulously maintained and very attractive and comfortable. It was stocked with everything you would need to be comfortable and to feel like home. We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Top of the Lake!

Patty’s home is as it appears on the listing - clean, bright, comfortable and with great lake views. The communication was efficient and everything was organized and labeled. We visited In late November, and it was quiet and peaceful in the little neighborhood. Having morning coffee and looking at the lake was so relaxing.

Great Weekend

What a great place to stay & gaze out at beautiful Candlewood Lake. The rooms were spacious & comfortable. We had plenty of open space to spread out & a large yard to play frisbee in. We were very happy with every aspect of the house.

Childhood girlfriends reunion for our 70th birthdays

The property was beautifully maintained and equipped and well located on a quiet street. The owner was easy to connect with and extremely nice. It was a great experience and we would not hesitate to recommend.

Great Host and Property

We were In the area for Kent Graduation . Wish we had more time to spend at the house . Perfect area by lake. Nice setup . Great neighbors . The host was very responsive and so accommodating with our busy schedule and short stay. We’ll be back for a longer stay to enjoy the property, house and lake.

Lakeside getaway

We had a wonderful New year’s weekend. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. The house was lovely. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the location and lake views from the home. It was an amazing place to spend the holiday with family and friends so glad we booked!

Spacious, quiet location

We stayed at this lovely home while attending a nearby family reunion. With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, everyone had plenty of private space. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and kitchen utensils. It is a very quiet neighborhood with great views of the lake. We watched many people out on the lake water skiing and fishing. The house was very clean and comfortable with a roomy living area for hanging out whether conversing or playing games. We would definitely stay again!

Christmas in July!

Totally enjoyed our stay at Patty and Rob’s! Plenty of room for all of us. Very receptive to any issues. The neighbor, Mark, was so helpful in explaining everything about the neighborhood. Front door was not directly on the water, but it was literally a minute’s walk. House had everything we needed!

GREAT Sisters Weekend!

Patricia is an outstanding host with great communication and always pleasantly and quickly responding! The house is just beautiful - clean, comfortable and has clear 'welcome guide'. Memorial Day Weekend

Great location! Never found the beach passes, but it wasn't an issue. Enjoyed using the kayaks. Loved the house. Wish the primary bed was more comfortable. Could not find a toilet plunger. Enjoyed meeting Mark who briefed us on the community policies.

Family trip visiting relatives

Our family had wonderful stay at this beautiful, well-equipped house overlooking Candlewood Lake. It is situated on a large grassy lot with a very private feel in a quiet little neighborhood very close to a small beach and dock. We appreciated having three full bathrooms, and we found the master queen bed quite comfortable. There was a well done welcome guide to the property with clear instructions, as well as information about the local area. In addition, the host was very prompt and thorough in answering the questions we had before our trip. We highly recommend this property and would love to return for another visit!

Outstanding!!!

What a beautiful house! The dining area with the view were spectacular and very practical as well. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The kitchen had all the amenities needed and were top of the line! We enjoyed taking walks in this safe rural area that had all the stores very close by as well. We would definitely come again! Thank you for a pleasant experience!

Great Family Getaway

What a wonderful home! Very clean, family oriented, open floor plan w/plenty of space. Rooms are spacious. Was so nice having 3 bathrooms and a great laundry room too! Quality appliances and is well stocked with dishes, silverware & glasses. You really don’t need to bring anything… all needs are met. Has a great yard for kids to play in and a lovely front deck, overlooking the lake, to kick back and relax in a very safe neighborhood. Neighbors are very friendly and make you feel welcome. A 1-2 minute walk will get you to the neighborhood beach. Truly a hop/skip & a jump away! So close. We found the whole area to be very friendly …. Just an awesome experience for our entire family and our hostess & owner Patty, was very helpful and always available to answer any questions we had. She was great. Can’t wait to do it all over again next year!! Lisa N

Perfect CT Lake House

This house is the perfect setting for a week away (we used it as a launch point to visit family in CT - easy access to many CT roads), especially for families with teens and/or including grandparents! Plenty of rooms with TVs and an awesome living room with a large TV connected to everything! The front porch and its lovely gas firepit was our perch every morning for coffee/breakfast. The kitchen is in PERFECT order and well stocked with all you'd need! The neighborhood is quiet, well maintained, and you are just acouple houses from a small private beach (a community beach is within sight/earshot but fenced off from the property so was not an issue at all) - an easy walk for grandparents or parents carrying beach toys! The driveway into the neighborhood was quite a steep surprise (be aware if you are renting from out of state - this area is the epitome of CT narrow roads/rolling hills) but we were navigating easily by day 2 of our trip. Patty is an amazing host, super responsive and helpful with all we needed. And her neighbors were great too, coming by to water flowers and say hello. Many convenient restaurants right in town - both fancy and takeout. All easy to get to. Will definitely book again if our travel plans bring us to CT!
