Welcome to Alpine Gaste Haus! A perfect getaway for couples! Our apartment is located within a brief walk to downtown. Relax and have a night in or enjoy dining at one of the many fabulous restaurants within Helen, GA! We have a full kitchen offering refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, coffee maker, along with several other appliances. Don’t forget to sit a while on the front balcony and enjoy a nice evening overlooking main street. Alpine Gaste Haus is located above Helen's longest running, family package store, Alpine Brew Bottle Haus. Those adult beverages are just feet away! Wake up and enjoy a tasty breakfast at Dottie’s kitchen, convienantly located next door! We look forward to your upcoming stay with us!

Long weekend

Planned a long weekend in Helen and found this cute rental to stay. As soon as we walked in we loved it, clean, roomy, had everything you needed. Short walk to everything Helen. We will definitely return.

Valentines Weekend

We had a great time staying here for Valentines weekend. The apartment is great and within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops. The liquor store below is neat and the noise on a weekend is minimal (can’t even hear it in the bedroom) also sharing a parking lot with a restaurant was great and their breakfast was Even better: will stay here again in the future

A little slice of Helen/Heaven

Cozy little apartment that was perfectly set in the middle of town. Beautiful little place that was clean and had everything you need from towels, bedding, and kitchen utensils! Walking distance to everything! Tyler (the owner) was super helpful and extremely nice. Thanks for allowing us to spend our 31st anniversary at your place. We loved everything Helen and want to come back soon with all of our kids!!

Last minute trip

Our first time to Helen and a last minute weekend getaway with my husband. This is the perfect little place to stay. Extremely clean, comfy, cozy, awesome people watching. Tyler is an excellent host. We can't wait to come back. Thank you.

Great location

The property was exactly as described. Tyler was super nice and easily accessible for any questions that we had. Easy access to parking. Extremely clean and well decorated. it was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Perfect for a couple. If I could give more than five stars I would. Perfect access to everything, we did not have to drive anywhere the whole two days that we were there. Dottie’s next door is a must for breakfast. They have the best biscuits! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Hopefully we will be back again next fall for a weekend

Girls Octoberfest Weekend

Absolutely adorable place to stay, bigger than what the pictures show. Excellent location, comfortable, super clean, everything you would need is supplied in the Vrbo. Exceeded our expectations! We have already planned our 2025 girls weekend for Octoberfest at this Vrbo. The owner is very responsive to communication. We’ll be back!

Beautiful, clean, welcoming place. Furnished comfortably and modern. The only problem was the bathroom. It was built too small considering there was a large supply room behind it, and more room could have been easily accomplished. But, I have been a custom home builder all my life, so I do have a critical eye....We had a wonderful time

First trip to Helen

Property was as described and much more. The front deck was great. Perfect place for relaxing in the evening and watching cars and people. Unit was clean, bed was comfortable. No complaints.

Great Get a way

I would give this property and Tyler 5 +++ stars. The property was exactly as described and communicating with Tyler was excellent and although it is set a top a business I have no negative comments at all, and if your a people watcher I say a plus. My wife and I would set on the deck and watch people go by thus adding entertainment at times. The location is perfect, all the eating establishments you could ever want and there is a dollar general a block or so away if you get anything. We went for the balloon Festival and although we did not get to see the “ Balloon Race to The Atlantic “ on Thursday morning there were other activities Thursday through Saturday evening. There is mountain roller coaster and tubing with walking distance from the property.

I stayed here for Memorial Day 2024. Despite the crowds, parking wasn't an issue. Everywhere I went in Helen was conveniently walkable from the location. The properly was clean and neat and met all of my needs.

Great Little Apartment.

Great little apartment for the weekend. Close enough to walk to downtown Helen, but far enough to not have to deal with all the noise and traffic. Some noise (talking and front door opening/shutting) but nothing that disturbed us into the night. We had a lovely weekend stay!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The property was super clean and check in was easily done. For a nice get away for the weekend; it was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.
