Welcome to the Heart of Helen, Chalet Munich

Welcome to the Chatthhoochee National Forest in North Georgia Mountains where year round adventures begin. You will park your vehicle and walk almost everywhere in Downtown Helen. So much to do with shopping, dinning, golfing (mini and 18 holes in Innsbruck), tubing, gem mining, roller coaster, zip line for all ages and the list goes on!

Chalet Munich is located above a retail space and the hours of operation are 11am-9pm. The guests will have the entire upstairs floor for their privacy. Chalet Munich is not handicap friendly and stairs are needed to enter the unit. The parking is in the rear of building for one vehicle. The interior is a modern rustic with handmade wooden furniture. You have your own private balcony with a city view.

Great location

Overall, we enjoyed this location a lot. It was in a prime location and easy to access. The bar downstairs was also super neat with a kind staff.

Best stay in Helen!

Our stay was perfect in every way, super clean and very cozy! We loved it, and will definitely book again. We stayed New Years Eve weekend and watched the Edelweiss Flower drop at midnight from our balcony!! Location 👍 we walked everywhere and best part was our favorite restaurant was literally right next door, Bodensee!

The property was perfect for a getaway. Close to everything, we were able to park our vehicle and not get into again until we left. We will book the same place for a December stay. The property was very clean and had a ton of room.

Great Little Getaway

We were just looking to get away for a short little road trip to Helen, GA. This rental was a great location. We did experience a few minor issues, but the owner was quick to respond and do what he could to remedy them. This rental was within an easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Helen. There are some bright decorative lights that stay on all night, so you may want to bring an eye mask.

Property was very well centered to town and close to a lot of the local shops. It was nice being able to walk to most places. The lights on the front at night weren’t a problem for us but definitely made the room not as dark at night

Perfect Get-a-way!

Chalet Munich was the perfect stay for my wife and I! Clean, cozy and convenient! Definitely located within the hot spots of Helen and walkable from the main strip! The smell of fresh popcorn and pretzels was amazing! We had to go down stairs and get a pretzel! Delicious! We can’t wait to return and stay at Chalet Munich!
